20210317627 · 2021-10-14 ·

The present invention is directed broadly to a drainage channel support assembly 10 comprising a support member 12 adapted to support drainage channel 14, a pair of pegs 16a and 16b arranged to anchor the support member 12 to the ground, and a pair of coupling elements 18a and 18b mounted to respective of each of the pair of pegs 16a and 16b. The coupling arrangements 18a and 18b are configured where on anchoring of the support member 12 to the ground via respective of the pair of pegs 16a/b either: 1. in a first install mode, the coupling arrangement 18a contacts an upper surface of the support member 12 with the associated peg 16a penetrating the ground along substantially the full length of the peg 16a; or 2. in a second install mode, the coupling arrangement 18a couples to a fitting 22a which contacts the upper surface of the support member 12, the coupling arrangement 18a contacting a lower surface of the support member 12 for suspension of the drainage channel 14 above the ground.

Embodiments of a drain comprise three primary components that can be provided in a preassembled configuration: a drain body, which includes an integral upper flange; a lower clamping collar that forms a lower flange; and a waterproof membrane that is fixedly sandwiched between the upper and lower flanges and extends outwardly therefrom. The drain is further characterized through the use of a plurality of fins that extend into the cylindrical interior of the drain body's throat and act to position and hold a drain cover assembly in place replacing the use of threads that are common in the prior art.

A point drain is described that incorporates one or more novel features in various embodiments thereof. In at least one embodiment, the drain comprises three primary components that are typically provided in a preassembled configuration: a drain body, which includes an integral upper flange; a lower clamping collar that forms a lower flange; and a waterproof membrane that is fixedly sandwiched between the upper and lower flanges and extends outwardly therefrom. A version of the drain is further characterized through the use of a plurality of fins that extend into the cylindrical interior of the drain body's throat and act to position and hold a drain cover assembly in place replacing the use of threads that are common in the prior art.

Trench drain alignment system

A trench drain section for connecting to a mating trench drain section and forming a trench drain system. The trench drain section includes a trough having sidewalls connected by a bottom wall and cooperating to define a channel. The trough further includes an open top, an open end and is connectable to another trench drain section. A pair of rails extend along the sidewalls and are secured by fasteners. Extending over the open top, a grate is supported on the rails. The drain section also includes an alignment bracket having first and second portions that are individually connectable with one of the fasteners. When one of first and second portions is connected with one of the fasteners, the other the portions of the alignment bracket extends from the trough through the open end thereof and is available for connecting to another trench drain section.

Frame for a Floor Drain

A frame (4) is designed to be inserted into a channel body (3) of a floor drain (1), the channel body forming an outflow channel (8) and having an outflow opening (9). The frame includes at least substantially vertically extending side walls (11) arranged in the form of a frame and which together form a receiving opening (12). An at least substantially horizontally extending frame flange (13) adjoins the upper edges of the side walls (11) and surrounds the receiving opening (12) in a frame-like manner. Projections (14) projecting into the receiving opening (12) are provided on opposite side walls (11) and form a receiving framework to receive and support a cover (5) to be inserted into the frame (4) from above, characterized in that the projections (14) are provided in the form of indentations.

CHANNEL DRAIN

A channel drain for use in a fabricated surface having an exposed appearance. The channel drain includes a first body having a plurality of support surfaces, with each support surface extending from a respective body sidewall in spaced relation to a body lower wall. A plurality of inserts are insertable into the first body. Each insert includes an insert cavity sized and structured to receive a selected material having an appearance substantially identical to the exposed appearance of the fabricated surface. Each insert is supported by certain ones of the plurality of support surfaces when inserted into the first body and is sized and structured to define a gap between the pair of body sidewalls when inserted into the first body, with the gap allowing for fluid to flow therethrough toward the body lower wall.
