Trenchless methods for forming curved hole channel with steel sleeve and pipeline lifting

Trenchless methods for forming a curved hole channel with a steel sleeve and pipeline lifting are provided, including steps of: (T1) drilling a straight hole channel, and inserting the steel sleeve into the straight hole channel; (T2) inserting a guiding pipe into the steel sleeve, and determining a bending direction of a hole channel to be formed; and (T3) inserting a flexible steel-wire pipe into the guiding pipe, and punching to form the curved hole channel. With applying the creative trenchless method for forming the curved hole channel, a specially-made grouting pipe is accurately inserted to a bottom of a subsiding pipeline section, so that a polymer material is conveniently injected to a bottom of a disease position. Though utilizing an expansion force generated by the polymer material, the subsiding pipeline section is uplifted, so as to realize trenchless repairing.

Pusher box for nondestructive pipe refurbishment in confined spaces
10746341 · 2020-08-18 · ·

Methods are disclosed for refurbishing an existing host pipe. According to presently preferred embodiments, a first phase is to make a longitudinal cut in the host pipe. A second phase is an expansion phase, wherein the host pipe is expanded, preferably nondestructively, via separation of the longitudinal cut. A third phase is to insert liner pipe sections into the expanded host pipe. In confined space environments, sections of liner pipe are concatenated end-to-end as they are inserted into the host pipe. In some embodiments, the expansion phase and the liner pipe section insertion phase may be combined. A fourth phase is to grout the annular space formed between the host pipe and the concatenated liner pipe sections.

An end stopper (10) for liner systems for pipe and sewer rehabilitation with a liner which is arranged between two end stoppers (10) and can be acted upon by a pressure medium and can be applied reversibly to the circumference of the end stopper (10), is characterized in that the end stopper (10) is composed, in cross section, of a plurality of profile parts (100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105) which are of part annular and/or part tubular shape and are conical, wherein at least one profile part (100) has a configuration that tapers conically from the inside to the outside.

Trenchless integrative repair method for concrete drainage pipeline with cracking, corrosion and subsidence
20200256498 · 2020-08-13 ·

A trenchless integrative repair method includes steps of: S1, pre-casting steel rings according to an internal diameter of a diseased pipeline, and forming grouting holes in the steel rings; S2, loading the steel rings to a diseased position inside the pipeline, and fitting the steel rings to an internal wall of the pipeline to form reinforcing rings; S3, selecting a number of the grouting holes according to subsidence distribution; drilling a hole in the pipeline to reach a subsidence position and inserting a grouting pipe; steadily grouting the subsidence position with a polymer grouting system, and observing a lift condition of the pipeline; removing the grouting pipe after the pipeline is lifted to a predetermined level; and S4, pulling a lining pipe into the pipeline, and fitting the lining pipe to the steel rings and pipeline walls adjacent to the steel rings; curing the lining pipe.

Method and Apparatus for Repairing Main and Lateral Pipes
20200248860 · 2020-08-06 · ·

A method of repairing portions of pipes including a main pipe and lateral pipes extending between a first and second manhole, including providing a liner assembly having both a main liner member and a lateral liner tube extending from the main liner member and capable of everting from within the main liner member to a position in one of the one or more lateral pipes, impregnating a portion of the liner assembly with a material capable of curing and hardening, positioning the liner assembly a distance from the first manhole, and everting the main liner member within the main pipe while simultaneously everting at least one of the one or more lateral liner tubes into one of the one or more lateral pipes. The predetermined distance enables the main liner tube to line the portion of the pipe in need of repair in the pipe without lining the entire pipe.

Method for curing a liner tube

The present invention relates to a method for rehabilitating lines, in particular sewers, shafts or the like, a curing device being activated or having been activated for curing the curable and/or curing ply, and an advancement of the curing device in the lining sleeve and in particular the power output of the curing device being controlled in an open-loop or closed-loop manner in dependence on the temperature sensed by the temperature measuring device on the outer side of the curable ply.

Sewer Hose Liner and Related Methods

This invention relates to a disposable sewer hose liner that may be used to line the inside of a sewer hose for recreational vehicles, trailers, and mobile homes. The disposable sewer hose liner provides a more sanitary method of disposing sewage and waste water from an RV, trailer, or mobile home and reduces the odor emanating from a sewer hose, the amount of cleaning necessary, and the amount of bacteria or waste that a user comes in contact with when interacting with a sewer hose.

PIPE REPAIR
20200158276 · 2020-05-21 ·

The present disclosure relates to a method for repairing a partially collapsed pipe. The method comprises fitting a mesh stent around the outside of an actuation assembly of a pipe repair apparatus, and positioning the pipe repair apparatus within a portion of the pipe, at least a part of the portion of the pipe being partially collapsed. The method also comprises causing actuation between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration such that the partially collapsed part of the pipe changes from a partially collapsed form towards a non-collapsed form. The method also comprises removing the pipe repair apparatus from the pipe and leaving the mesh stent in the portion of the pipe.

Plug for servicing active pipe

A modular plug for installation into large diameter pipelines that provides a reliable and secure seal within the pipeline to be serviced thereby increasing the safety of the people working on the secured side of the plug. The plug is modular in construction and suited for easy installation within large pipelines. The plug is generally formed as a large circular plate formed from modular sections. Along the division lines the plug pieces include grooves and a gasket therein. Reinforcing jacks extend outwardly from the plug and exert pressure against the pipeline to retain the plug geometry and position. Also, around the periphery of the plug is shown an inflatable rubber seal.
