Adjustable Floor Drain and Method of Installation
A drain assembly including a shroud, a shank having a cylindrical radially inward facing surface defining an axis, a grate defining a plurality of openings, a frame positioned axially between the shank and the grate, and where the frame is configured to support the grate. The drain assembly also includes a cover removably coupleable to the drain assembly and configured to prevent material from coming into contact with the grate, where the cover includes an axial height defining an axial envelope, and where the grate is positioned within the axial envelope.
Cover assembly and methods
Systems and methods of installing a fixture into a material are provided. The fixture includes a body and a cover assembly that is removably coupled to the body and configured to move relative to the body once the body has been secured within the material. The cover assembly includes a movable component configured to aid removal of the cover assembly.
Erosion and sediment control above grate based inlet filter system including high traffic embodiments
An above grate based inlet filter system for erosion and sediment control comprises a filter mat configured to extend beyond the perimeter of the grate and a securing mechanism, such as magnets, configured to securing the filter mat around the perimeter of the grate. The system may include a filter berm secured in vicinity to the mat, and a rectangular array of magnets coupling the filter mat to the grate. The natural fiber filter mat may effectively be formed of vertically aligned coir fibers or alternatively of reticulated foam. Multiple side edges of the mat are undulating having a pattern of repeating recesses. The mat includes a plurality of high flow holes extending into the mat and which are closed at a bottom surface thereof. The mat includes at least one removable dewatering plug configured to allow for selective mat bypass.
Adjustable drain assembly and retrofit kit for adjustable drain assembly
An adjustable drain assembly for adjusting the level and pitch of the frame so that, after installation, the frame can be adjust so that the strainer is level or flush with the finished floor surface. A retrofit kit for combining with a preexisting head already installed in a floor to provide an adjustable drain assembly is also disclosed.
Drain protector
A drain protector having a flexible adsorbent pad, a raised insert, and a cover is described. The pad and the insert each includes aligned apertures. The raised insert is positioned over the flexible adsorbent pad or within the aperture of the flexible adsorbent pad. The cover is connected to the flexible adsorbent pad, a raised insert, forming a space over the insert. The drain protector is made from adsorbent material for blocking sediment, collecting contaminants and filtering water into a drain. The cover of the drain protector reinforces the sheet and insert to protect against damage from traffic over the drain protector.
DRAIN SYSTEM FOR USE WITH A TILE FLOOR
A drain system includes a drain cover positionable over a drain opening in a floor. The drain cover has a sidewall extending about a periphery of the drain cover and a release surface on the sidewall tapering or sloping inwardly toward a bottom of the drain cover. The release surface is arranged to interface with a support frame configured to support and position the drain cover over the drain opening and reduce frictional and shear forces between the drain cover and the support frame during removal of the drain cover from the support frame.
Toilet flush device and toilet device
A toilet flushing device includes a first rim water pipe within which is formed a first water passage through which water flows to a first rim discharge hole, through which water is discharged to a rim part of a toilet bowl. The first rim water pipe extends from the first rim discharge hole toward a rear part of the toilet bowl, and the rear part side of the first rim water pipe is positioned lower than the first rim discharge hole.
Shower drain assembly
An apparatus and method for plumbing a conventional bathtub drain to a conventional shower drain. A wooden framework is used wherein a pipe is placed that has one end connected to a pre-existing bathtub drain and the other end connected to a shower stall drain. The framework requires a minimal height because the pipe is oval shaped, thus providing a large enough volume for fluid flow while limiting the height required for such a pipe.
Drain Cover
The present invention relates to a cover for a drain which traps hair or other debris traveling with water or other liquids down the drain. In most embodiments the drain cover comprises an outer and inner perimeter with one or more slits cut from the outer perimeter towards the inner perimeter. The shape and design of the drain cover allows it to cover any drain type, whether the grate is level with the bottom of the receptacle, recessed into the bottom of the receptacle, or whether a stopper sticks up from the bottom of the receptacle. In many embodiments the drain cover also comprises gaps for allowing water to flow through and projections for catching the hair or other debris.
