Berm and filter system
A sediment control device includes an under-seal gasket, a threshold member, a filter member, and a berm extending upwards from the top surface of the under-seal gasket. The under-seal gasket includes a first central opening, and the filter member includes a second central opening smaller than the first central opening. The threshold member and the filter member are attached directly to the bottom surface of the under-seal gasket, but are not attached to each other. The threshold member extends across the first and second central openings and includes a plurality of apertures. The berm includes an elongated cylindrical foam member that surrounds a perimeter of the first central opening, and may in some examples consist of a separate berm component comprising one or more lengths of elongated cylindrical foam members separately encased in berm sleeves, and arranged to surround the perimeter of the first central opening.
Apparatus for capturing and destroying hair within a shower drain
A system for capturing and destroying hair and waste within a shower drain includes a basket placed in the drain which holds a rod including an enzyme blend. The basket captures hair or waste that is washed down shower drains. The enzyme blend neutralizes the hair or waste. The result is a clear drain and clear plumbing, with minimal manual labor. The basket does not require removal because the hair and waste are neutralized before a clog can develop. The enzyme blend is safer for both users and the plumbing systems treated than conventional drain cleaning chemicals.
Hair cutting assembly and related floor drain
Provided is a hair cutting assembly. The hair cutting assembly includes at least one first shearing wheel, first transmission shaft that drives the first shearing wheel to rotate, at least one second shearing wheel and second transmission shaft that drives the second shearing wheel to rotate. Opposite end surfaces of each first shearing wheel and the corresponding second shearing wheel are attached to each other. The first cutting blades, formed by intersecting end surface of the first shearing wheel with side wall, and the second cutting blades, formed by intersecting end surface of the second shearing wheel with side wall, oppositely move in a feed direction, such that long and thin linear sundries such as hairs and fabrics can be continuously shorn. A floor drain with the hair cutting assembly is also provided.
Air gap floor drain
An air gap floor drain is disclosed which may provide an air gap between a floor drain aperture and one or more device drain conduits producing drain effluent. An example air gap floor drain includes a first funnel. A lid on the first funnel has one or more ports to accept the device drain conduits. A second funnel is stacked under the first funnel so that the drain effluent from the device drain conduits entering the first funnel through one or more ports passes down through the second funnel before flowing from the second funnel down into the floor drain aperture.
FILTERING DRAIN COVER
A two-stage filtering drain cover that can be retrofitted to an existing, original construction, areaway drain cover. The filtering drain cover of the invention inhibits the accumulation of debris on the existing drain cover, and passage of debris into the drain, and helps to prevent clogs and flooding. The outer cover member of the device is configured with passages that permit liquid flow through the outer cover while filtering larger size debris particles that may be entrained in the passing liquid. A perimeter wall on the outer cover and with similar liquid flow passages stops larger debris from passing the outer cover. An inner filter member fits within the outer cover and is configured with relatively smaller passages to obstruct smaller sized debris that may have penetrated the outer cover from passing into the drain.
Drain system for use with a tile floor
A drain system includes a support frame configured to support and position a drain cover over a drain opening in a tile floor. The support frame has a base portion and a wall portion projecting upwardly from the base portion to define a seat for the drain cover within the support frame. A release surface on the wall portion tapers and slopes inwardly from a top of the wall portion. The release surface is arranged to interface with the drain cover and reduce frictional and shear forces between the drain cover and the support frame during removal of the drain cover from the support frame.

COMBINATION OF A COVER PLATE AND A DRAIN AND USE OF SUCH COMBINATION
A combination of a cover plate and a drain, preferably a floor drain is described. The cover plate is provided with first locking means and the drain is provided with cooperating second locking means for releasable connection of the cover plate to the floor drain. The cover plate is a temporary cover plate for use during installation of the drain. The cover plate may be used for a temporary protection of a drain during installation of the drain and for installing and adjusting the inclination of the drain without the need of separate levelling tools. To obtain this the cover plate is provided with levelling means for determining the orientation of the cover plate and thereby also the drain in relation to a horizontal or a vertical plane. The first locking means or the second locking means comprises a weakening arranged such that at least a part of the locking means is preferably damaged when the cover plate is removed from the drain to ensure that the cover is not reused.
PIPE MOUNTING DEVICE
A pipe mounting device includes an elongate part and a mounting head attached to a first end of the elongate part. The mounting head is sized and configured for positioning within a pipe end. The pipe mounting device is movable via the elongate part between a first position in which the mounting head is passable through an inner diameter of the pipe end along a length, and a second position in which the mounting head lockingly engages with the inner diameter of the pipe end and is usable to secure a position of the pipe end below a subfloor.
FILTER MEDIA INSERT STRUCTURES AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION
Structures for housing a filtration media for the removal and/or solidifying of synthetic ester-based fluids from liquids are provided. The structures disclosed include: a stormwater insert container for installation within a storm drain designed for intake of high volumes of water; an angling filter plug mounting structure and pre-filter basket for a flush installation on a planar floor, such that the filtration media rests beneath the floor and releases filtered liquids into a drainage area; a trench filtration assembly for installation into a trench below surface level, such that the unfiltered liquid passes through the trench and a trench box disposed within the trench filtration assembly prior to passing through the filtration media into a drainage area; and a liner box assembly for installation over an opening made in a non-permeable liner for purposes of pre-filtering contaminated liquids as it flows through the liner box and subsequently the filtration media.
