EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL ABOVE GRATE BASED INLET FILTER SYSTEM INCLUDING HIGH TRAFFIC EMBODIMENTS
An above grate based inlet filter system for erosion and sediment control comprises a filter mat configured to extend beyond the perimeter of the grate and a securing mechanism, such as magnets, configured to securing the filter mat around the perimeter of the grate. The system may include a filter berm secured in vicinity to the mat, and a rectangular array of magnets coupling the filter mat to the grate. The natural fiber filter mat may effectively be formed of vertically aligned coir fibers or alternatively of reticulated foam. Multiple side edges of the mat are undulating having a pattern of repeating recesses. The mat includes a plurality of high flow holes extending into the mat and which are closed at a bottom surface thereof. The mat includes at least one removable dewatering plug configured to allow for selective mat bypass
Vector control screen for stormwater treatment systems
An apparatus for controlling ingress and egress of biologically transmitting insect species to standing water disposed within a stormwater treatment and water storage system.
Drain assembly and method of installation
A drain assembly comprises a drain pan, a trim member, and a drain cover. The drain pan has a base and a pan sidewall, and the trim member has a trim sidewall. The pan sidewall, at least a portion of the upper surface of the base, and the trim sidewall define a drain channel therebetween. The drain cover defines a plurality of apertures and is positionable above the drain pan. The trim member is configured to transition between a first position and a second position. In the first position of the trim member, the drain channel has a first width that extends in a transverse direction. In the second position of the trim member, the drain channel has a second width that extends in the transverse direction. The first width is different than the second width.
ADJUSTABLE FLOOR DRAIN AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A drain assembly comprises a shroud, a shank, and a frame. The drain assembly may further comprise a shim with an angled top surface. The frame may have an angled bottom surface. A rotational orientation of the angled top surface of the shim relative to the shank and a rotational orientation of the angled bottom surface of the frame relative to the shank may be independently adjustable, thereby allowing for the top surface of the frame to be both angularly and rotationally adjusted relative to a central axis of the drain assembly independent of the positional height of the shank. The drain assembly may further comprise a cover having bendable tabs. The bendable tabs may be disposed around a periphery of the cover and may be configured to contact an angled inner surface of an upper bowl of the shroud, such that the bendable tabs bend around the frame, thereby locking the cover onto the frame.
Air Gap Floor Drain
An air gap floor drain is disclosed which may provide an air gap between a floor drain aperture and one or more device drain conduits producing drain effluent. An example air gap floor drain includes a first funnel. A lid on the first funnel has one or more ports to accept the device drain conduits. A second funnel is stacked under the first funnel so that the drain effluent from the device drain conduits entering the first funnel through one or more ports passes down through the second funnel before flowing from the second funnel down into the floor drain aperture.
DRAIN FILTER APPARATUS TO CAPTURE HAIR AND DEBRIS
A filter apparatus mounted to a drain is provided. The drain includes an upper opening extending to an inlet of a pipe. The filter apparatus collects hair and permits water to flow through into the drain. The apparatus includes a grate coupled to the drain's upper opening and has a central opening and a plurality of openings, and a trap assembly with an upper plug coupled to the grate's central opening and a rod with a first end continuously connected to the upper plug and a second end extending into the drain. The trap assembly includes a filter member disposed around the rod and positioned above the inlet of the pipe. The apparatus permits water to pass through the grate's openings and filter member for entry into the pipe's inlet for an evacuation. The apparatus permits hair to pass through the grate's openings and collect on the filter member.
Device for use with drains
A treatment assembly for a drain is provided. The treatment assembly includes a skirt configured for covering the drain and a basket assembly configured for being received beneath the skirt and between an opening of the drain. The basket assembly contains a treatment material for providing treatment to the drain. A related method is also disclosed.
SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING THE WATERPROOFING WITH A DRAIN PIPE IN INDOOR WET AREAS
A system for connecting the waterproofing with a drain pipe in indoor wet areas, suitable for being used in a main part of a drain that is in turn equipped with a discoidal plane wherein and on which a waterproofing sheet is positioned and attached, which includes an adhesive sealing means interposed between the aforementioned discoidal plane of the main part and the waterproofing sheet and said waterproofing sheet thus being arranged on and pressing on the adhesive sealing means, and includes a secondary part and a securing ring, wherein the secondary part entails a connection and support for a grid, wherein the securing ring is arranged uniformly on the waterproofing sheet when said waterproofing sheet is pressing on the adhesive sealing means in turn arranged between the discoidal plane and the waterproofing sheet itself, both the secondary part and the securing ring being coupled and interlocked with each other.
Shower Drain Assembly
An apparatus and method for plumbing a conventional bathtub drain to a conventional shower drain. A wooden framework is used wherein a pipe is placed that has one end connected to a pre-existing bathtub drain and the other end connected to a shower stall drain. The framework requires a minimal height because the pipe is oval shaped, thus providing a large enough volume for fluid flow while limiting the height required for such a pipe.
Waterless trap
A waterless trap for use in a drain assembly includes flow enhancing features to promote the vortex water flow of water received in the trap, an improved sealing arrangement to enhance the seal between a seal member and the housing to inhibit sewer gas leaks from an attached drain pipe by maintaining an evaporation barrier that assists in retaining water in a corresponding p-trap, and a plurality of air passages can allow the trap seal to open with ease when the drain pipe is pressurized. These features may be used in combination with one another or may be independently employed.
