ROOF STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
To provide a roof structure free from generation of a dead space, capable of reducing a load moment.
A roof structure including a roof (1) supported by a post (2) is a cantilever structure having the front end of the roof (1) formed in a free end and the rear end connected to the upper end of the post (2). The lower end of the post (2) is fixed in a concrete foundation (5). The post (2) is tilted with the upper end directed backward and with the lower end directed forward. A counter moment cm generated on the post (2) at the time of application of a load to the roof (1) reduces a load moment (M) generated by the load, thereby bringing the post (2) into an advantageous state in strength. The configuration of the post (2) with two post members and a vertical connecting member (10) connecting the post members facilitates the construction of the post (2) to be tilted at a desired angle.
METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A BUILDING, AND A BUILDING CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM THEREFOR
A method of constructing a building includes constructing a vertical support core of the building, and attaching a climbing rail to an exterior of the vertical support core. The climbing rail includes holes spaced vertically. A first floor plate is constructed around a periphery of the vertical support core, at a ground elevation, and includes at least one connecting rail having vertically spaced holes. A climbing jack is attached to the climbing rail, and moved vertically upward on the climbing rail to raise the first floor plate to a first floor final elevation. The first floor plate is permanently attached to the climbing rail at the first floor final elevation by inserting a pin through aligned holes in the connecting rail and the climbing rail.
Vertical slip form construction system with multi-function platform, and method of constructing a building therewith
A method of constructing a building includes attaching a first portion of a roof structure to the yokes of a vertical slip form system. A derrick crane is positioned on top of the first portion of the roof structure. A vertical support core of the building is then formed with the vertical slip form system. The first portion of the roof structure and the derrick crane are raised with the vertical slip form system. The vertical slip form system is removed from the formed vertical support core of the building, and the first portion of the roof structure is then moved into a final position and attached to the vertical support core. The remainder of the roof structure and subsequent floor plates may then be constructed at ground elevation, raised into place, and attached to the vertical support core in a top-down, descending order.

Vertical slip form construction system with multi-function platform, and method of constructing a building therewith
A floor plate for a building having a vertical support core is described, and includes first and second girders arranged in parallel and slidably disposed on opposed sides of the vertical support core. Each of the first and second girders includes a vertically-oriented web portion and a flange portion. The floor plate also includes a plurality of framing members, wherein each of the framing members includes a medial beam attached to first and second cantilevered beams. The medial beams are disposed between the first and second girders. The first and second cantilevered beams are threaded through apertures of the first and second girders and joined to the respective medial beam, and define first and second cambers. The first and second cambers are selected to achieve a flat horizontal surface on an upper surface of the floor plate when the floor plate is fixedly attached to the vertical support core.
Building including horizontally-oriented reinforced transfer beams and a fabrication method therefor
A building that includes a lower structural pad disposed on a foundation is described, and includes columns disposed on the lower structural pad, including a first of the columns being separated from a second of the columns by a first span. The building includes a plurality of horizontally-oriented reinforced transfer beams, wherein each of the reinforced transfer beams spans between the first of the columns and the second of the columns. The building includes a vertical support core including a first vertically-oriented structural spine and a second vertically-oriented structural spine that are disposed on the reinforced transfer beams and separated by a second span. The second span associated with the first and second vertically-oriented structural spine is less than the first span associated with the first and second of the columns. Each of the reinforced transfer beams includes a steel beam and a carbon-fiber reinforcement element.
PRODUCTION LINE FOR AFFORESTATION
The present application discloses a production line for afforestation. The technical solution includes at least one mobile platform which has a living area formed thereon, a column disposed at the bottom thereof for forming a sunshade area under the mobile platform for cultivating seedlings, and a walking mechanism installed at the bottom of the column. The production line is convenient for the people to plant trees in the desert.
MAST ASSEMBLY FOR DRILLING RIG
A mast assembly for a drilling rig includes a mast formed from a plurality of mast subunits. The mast assembly includes a lower drilling machine, upper drilling machine, and upper mud assembly, each of which is coupled to and movable vertically relative to the mast. The mast subunits are separable when the mast is in a transport configuration such that the LDM is positioned in a first subunit and the UDM is in a second subunit of the mast when the mast is in the transport configuration. The mast assembly may be used during a continuous drilling operation.
ARTICULATING JOINT FOR WIND TURBINE
An articulating joint for a wind turbine having a tower defining a shaft and a deck provided in the shaft includes a bracket extending from a first end having a fixed connection with the deck to a second end including an opening. A fastener includes a head pivotably connected to the tower and a shaft extending through the opening. A washer connected to the bracket is aligned with the opening for receiving the shaft such that the fastener is pivotable with the washer relative to the opening to allow for relative movement between the tower and the deck.
