Combination type shielding structure
A combination type shielding structure includes a top assembly member, a bottom assembly member, and a wall assembly member. The top assembly member is provided on the bottom thereof with a first connector. The wall assembly member is provided on the top thereof with a second connector. The first connector is detachably connected with the second connector. The wall assembly member is provided on the bottom thereof with a third connector. The bottom assembly member is provided on the top thereof with a fourth connector. The third connector is detachably connected with the fourth connector.
Methods and apparatus for constructing multi-storey buildings
The invention provides a method of constructing a modular multi-storey building including: assembling first and second building modules in a vertical arrangement at an 5 installation location to form a multi-storey building structure, wherein temporary support members between the first and second building modules vertically support at least part of the second building module above the first building module; installing a permanent support structure 10 and connecting it to the first and second building modules to vertically support the second building module above the first building module; and removing the temporary support members.
System and methods employing prefabricated volumetric construction modules including transforming truss elements
Disclosed herein is the fabrication and implementation of prefabricated volumetric construction modules that include transitioning members that adjust between vertical support columns and structural trusses via lateral joints. Modification of vertical support columns to trusses enables open space configurations in volumetric construction. Each volumetric module includes a habitation zone and a truss zone. Folding or transitioning a vertical support column at the lateral joint positions a lower region of the support column from the habitation zone into the truss zone. The vertical support columns are transitioned in a specified order where within a given row of vertical support columns. Beginning from a first interior column on an edge-positioned transforming volumetric module, workers fold half of the vertical support columns of the given row into the truss arrangement in a first direction toward the edge-positioned transforming volumetric module. Continuing from a second interior column on an opposite edge-positioned transforming volumetric module, a worker folds a remaining half of the vertical support columns of the given row into the truss arrangement in a second direction toward the opposite edge-positioned transforming volumetric module.
Method for constructing a concrete floor in a multistorey building
The invention provides a method of forming a concrete floor of a multistorey building, the method including: installing a first building module having a first precast concrete floor slab adjacently spaced from a second building module having a second precast concrete floor slab, at least the first precast concrete floor slab supporting an upstanding support member for supporting an upper floor; forming a channel between the spaced first and second precast concrete floor slabs by providing supporting formwork between the floor slabs for supporting poured concrete; and pouring concrete into the channel to form a concrete connection between the first and second precast slabs, thereby forming a concrete floor of a building.
Building complex comprising at least two buildings, and buildings
In building complexes of at least two buildings, the buildings each have a basic size in width direction and in length direction. The length and width of the building correspond to the basic size or to a multiple of this basic size. In buildings with at least two stories, in particular in a building complex, the building has at its bottom side at least one support that supports the building with formation of a venting space between the ground and the building bottom side. The venting space is part of an air circulation flowing about the building.
SELF-STORAGE SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a storage system. For example, the storage system can include a storage portion, a plurality of storage modules, and a storage module mover. The storage portion includes an access point, and is partitioned into a maximum number of equal-sized storage areas that fit in the storage portion. The storage modules are stored at respective storage areas within the storage portion. The number of the storage modules is up to the maximum number less 1. The storage module mover is configured to move selected storage modules within the storage portion to the access point of the storage portion.
FOLDABLE TRANSPORTABLE BUILDINGS
A foldable transportable building is provided.
Liftable Foldable Transportable Buildings
A fork tube arrangement for facilitating the movement of a foldable transportable building.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING FIRE-SUPPRESSING GASKET
A gasket for installation in a gap defined by adjacent modular construction units, each having a support frame. The gasket includes at least one layer of structural cement panel; and at least one layer of mineral wool, and the at least one layer of said panel and mineral wool has at least one plate recess configured for accommodating a support plate. A modular building construction is provided, including a plurality of modular units, each unit having a steel frame. Four adjacent units of the plurality form an intersection, and support plates are fastened at upper surfaces of corners formed by each frame. The gasket is disposed in a gap defined at the intersection, the gasket having four plate recesses for accommodating the support plates. In still another embodiment, a method of constructing a building made of modular units including the gasket.
