Construction method for foldable polyhedral enclosures
A foldable structure comprised of hinged panel segments is provided. These segments are comprised of a first panel pair comprised of a first and second polygonal panel, and a second panel pair comprised of a third and fourth polygonal panel. Segments are bounded by a first boundary plane defined by two sides of the first panel pair, and a second boundary plane defined by two sides of the second panel pair, Measurement of a boundary angle may be taken normal to the intersection of the first and second boundary planes. As the segment is continuously folded between a first position and a second position, said boundary angle remains substantially constant during folding.
HABITATION BLOCK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THERMAL INSULATION
A habitation block including habitation levels that are arranged on top of each other, wherein at least one of the habitation levels includes adjacent habitation units including an outer shell formed from a cuboid container that includes a placement surface, a cover, up to two lateral walls and up to two face walls, a cuboid interior space which has an edge length of at least 2 m, a walkable base with step soundproofing, a room ceiling, and room walls, wherein the room walls are dry walls with an intermediary space formed between the cover and the up to four lateral walls and between the room ceiling and the room walls, and a monolithic thermal insulation in the intermediary space, wherein the thermal insulation fills the intermediary space completely and is glued together with the room ceiling and with the room walls.
Modular Egress System
A free-standing modular egress system comprising various elements of a core frame, a staircase, a handrail, a long landing, a short landing, a door frame, and a means for attachment, for use in construction of hospitality and residential building construction. The system is prefabricated off-site which makes the onsite installation easier and capable of being installed prior to construction of the building.
Maritime green human settlement system and modularized construction method therefor
A maritime green human settlement system and a modularized construction method therefor. The maritime green human settlement system comprises at least one floor unit (1), solar photovoltaic plates (2), and a deck (3). The floor unit (1) is mounted on the deck (3). The solar photovoltaic plates (2) are mounted on the top surface of the highest floor unit (1). Each floor unit (1) comprises at least one room and indoor furniture. The room and the indoor furniture are formed by means of dislocated splicing of at least three modules (4), and at least one recessed portion (H) is formed at splicing positions. The maritime green human settlement system can form multiple indoor-outdoor spatial relationships; the flexibility is high, the construction period is short, and costs are low.
Transformable house
A transformable house comprises a stationary part and a movable part placed inside the stationary part and configured to move out of the stationary part along a first direction of the movable part by a first distance. The movable part includes a first sub section having a first width equal to the first distance and a second sub section having a second width that is the rest of a width of the movable part, the second sub section including a water tank. The first width and the second width are determined to meet the following equation: W1D1=W2D2, wherein W1, W2, D1, and D2 are the weight of the first sub section, the weight of the second sub section, the first width, and the second width, respectively.
APPARATUS FOR CLIMATE CONTROLLED HOUSING FOR HYDROPONIC GROW ROOMS
Some embodiments of the invention include a hydroponic grow facility. The hydroponic grow facility, for example, may include a first shipping container comprising a first wall and a first corner post adjacent to the first wall, wherein the first wall has at least a portion of the first wall removed; a first fodder production apparatus disposed within the first shipping container; a second shipping container comprising a second wall and a second corner post adjacent to the first wall, wherein the second wall has at least a portion of the second wall removed, wherein the second corner post and the first corner post are coupled together; and a second fodder production apparatus disposed within the second shipping container.
Snap joint and method of use
A snap joint for securing construction modules together on a modular construction site, the snap joint comprising a male member mounted on a first construction module and a female member mounted on a second construction module. The female member housing locking members, a tumbler and biasing members biasing the locking members against the tumbler. The male member having shaft engageable within the female member, through a base stop of the tumbler, along a trigger path in a manner to push the tumbler out of interference with the locking members, thereby freeing the locking members to transversally engage with the shaft.
HOUSING COMPLEX WITH PORTABLE HOUSING UNITS CONVERTIBLE INTO YACHTS
A housing unit which is portable, easily movable, such as via a forklift. Preferably, the housing unit is selectively moveable back and forth between a housing complex on land and the water. The housing complex is configured to be quickly connected to and disconnected from one or more utilities. Preferably, the housing unit is configured to be locked onto a haul using quick-connect locks, such that the housing unit effectively becomes a yacht on the water. The housing unit may be configured to be powered via basically any appropriate technology, whether conventional gas and electric, or via any type of green energy, such as geothermal, solar, rechargeable batteries, etc., or really any type of energy whether available now or in the future.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CONSTRUCTING MULTI-STOREY BUILDINGS
The invention provides a method of constructing a modular multi-storey building including: assembling first and second building modules in a vertical arrangement at an 5 installation location to form a multi-storey building structure, wherein temporary support members between the first and second building modules vertically support at least part of the second building module above the first building module; installing a permanent support structure 10 and connecting it to the first and second building modules to vertically support the second building module above the first building module; and removing the temporary support members.
STRUCTURAL SYSTEM WITH ACOUSTIC INSULATION PROPERTIES
