Injection Molded Slotted Angled Dome Connector
20210388605 · 2021-12-16 ·

The invention provides a unique injection-molded, slotted, angled hub that connects standard timbers at predetermined angles to build geodesic domes. They form fit over the ends of multiple timbers to transfer load evenly, limit strut rotation and movement, and aid in easy construction of domes. Furthermore they include screw holes that help to snug the timbers flush into its slot to form a durable structure. Being injection molded, they are cost effective, lightweight and through multi directional load transfer, allow lightweight timbers to be used in maximizing the strength at each union. Building with molded slotted angled dome connectors one can assemble a geodesic dome without calculating angled cut for each timber.

An Injection Molded Slotted Angled Dome Connector

This invention provides a novel one-piece injection molded hub that form-fits around timbers to form a geodesic dome without the need for angled cuts.

Roof mounting system

A roof mount assembly mounts a structure to a roof having a rafter and a substrate supported by the rafter. The roof mount assembly includes a piece of flashing positioned on the substrate. The flashing includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface and an aperture extending through the flashing. A fastener extends through the flashing aperture. A bracket is connected to the flashing via the fastener, and the bracket is sized to support at least one roof-mounted structure on the roof. A seal is positioned between the flashing aperture and the fastener. The seal is sized to form a water-tight seal with the aperture to inhibit flow of fluid through the aperture. The seal includes a first portion and a second portion, in which the first portion is positioned to abut the flashing first surface and the second portion is positioned to extend through the aperture.

Fastening and Alignment Member

A connection between a connector, a fastener and one or more structural members is disclosed. The connector can be formed with a fastening and alignment member. The fastening and alignment member includes a projecting member and a protruding member in close proximity to a predetermined location for the fastener.

SET OF DECKING BOARDS PROVIDED WITH A CONNECTING SYSTEM

A set of decking boards including a first and a second decking board and being provided with a connecting system including a connecting device. The first board is configured to be connected to a support element and the second board is configured to assume a vertically locked state with respect to the first board in which the connecting device cooperates with the first and second boards, there is a vertical gap between a portion of the second lip of the first decking board and a portion of the second lip of the second decking board, and there is a horizontal space between a first lip of the first board and the second lip of the second board. Also, other aspects of a set of decking boards and connecting devices as well as methods for demounting decking boards and replacing them with new decking boards.

MODULAR WORKSPACE SYSTEM

A modular workspace system employs a plurality of interchangeable posts, beams/rails, and panels, permitting assembly of modular rooms and modular room structures of varying size, shape, and purpose. Wire management openings permit internal wire management.

MODULAR MULTI-CONTAINER HOUSING STRUCTURE, MULTI-CONTAINER INTERLOCK, AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURE OF SAME

A modular multi-container housing structure connector for containers, which each have sides including a roof, a floor, and four lateral sides, includes a connector frame comprising vertical and horizontal struts shaped to connect to at least one of the sides of two adjacent containers and at least one interlock configured to secure the connector frame to the side of one container. The at least one interlock may be a plurality of interlocks. The connector frame may comprise two vertical struts and two horizontal struts each shaped and configured to connect to a respective edge of an adjacent side of two adjacent containers and, responsive to the connector frame being connected to two adjacent sides of two adjacent containers by the plurality of interlocks, the connector frame and interlocks form a container-to-connector frame-to-container connection to establish a weather-tight housing structure with the two or multiple connected containers.

CONNECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREFABRICATED VOLUMETRIC CONSTRUCTION MODULES
