Building assemblies and methods for constructing a building using pre-assembled floor-ceiling panels and walls
A building system may include at least one diaphragm beam having opposite ends connected to an external structural frame of a building, at least one pre-assembled floor-ceiling panel adjacent to a vertical side of and coupled to the diaphragm beam, and at least one pre-assembled wall adjacent to a horizontal side of and coupled to the diaphragm beam. The diaphragm beam may be filled with a mineral-based material, such as concrete. The one or more pre-assembled floor-ceiling panels may each include a plurality of joists extending perpendicular to the diaphragm beam, a floor-panel including at least one metal layer attached to the joists on a floor side of the pre-assembled floor-ceiling panel, and a ceiling panel including at least one layer comprising mineral-based material attached to the joists on a ceiling side of the pre-assembled floor-ceiling panel. The one or more pre-assembled walls may include interior and/or exterior walls of a building.
Arena apparatus and methods of using and constructing same
Arena apparatuses for staging a sport and methods of using and constructing same. The apparatus includes a floor and a wall, a bottom end of the wall located proximal to a floor perimeter, the wall extending upwardly and outwardly from the floor perimeter's vertical plane at an angle of greater than fifteen and less than sixty degrees. Alternate apparatuses include a floor frame for supporting a covering; a wall frame for supporting the covering, a bottom end of the wall frame located proximal to a floor frame perimeter, the wall frame extending upwardly and outwardly from the vertical plane of the perimeter at an angle of greater than fifteen and less than sixty degrees; and the covering for covering the floor frame and the wall frame to form a floor and a wall.
DECK BOARD
This invention relates to a deck board (1) and more particularly, to a reduced material deck board (1). In accordance with this invention there is provided a deck board (1) comprising an operatively upper board section (4) having at least one operatively downwardly depending support leg (5) terminating in at least one flange (7), an underside of the flange (7) having a concave surface.
MODULAR BUILDING COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS THEREOF
Disclosed is a modular building system including, in some embodiments, one or more wall panels, one or more floor panels, and one or more roof panels. The modular building components of the modular building system including the one or more wall panels, the one or more floor panels, and the one or more roof panels can faun housing or storage structures with electrical wiring, plumbing, or both wiring and plumbing. The housing or storage structures can be erected by one or more persons without a need for a plumber, an electrician, or power tools. Also disclosed is a method for erecting one or more housing or storage structure in accordance with the modular building system.
Outdoor wood decking board
An outdoor wood decking board for use in construction of an outdoor deck floor, the outdoor decking board including a wood core formed from a first wood species of common grade wood species as a three-dimensional solid rigid body. A facing wood veneer formed from a second wood species of superior grade wood species as a three-dimensional solid rigid wood finishing layer permanently directly seamlessly attached via an adhesive to a first wood face of the wood core thereby the wood core having an appearance of the second wood species. In another embodiment, the facing wood veneer is formed from a third wood species, exotic hardwood species. A two-part emulsion polymer isocyanate adhesive is used to bond the wood core against the facing wood veneer; to bond two wood cores together. In another embodiment, the adhesive is a two-part polyurethane emulsion polymer.
Decking clip
A decking clip to allow a plurality of decking members to be attached relative to a support assembly, the decking clip including an elongate plastic body strip having a body length, the body provided with a number of openings to receive fasteners there through to attach the body relative to the support assembly, a number of upstands spaced over the body length and extending substantially perpendicularly from the body strip, substantially transversely to the body length, each upstand having at least two opposed decking board engagement arms, a first decking board engagement arm extending from a first lateral side of the upstand at an acute angle and a second decking board engagement arm extending from a second lateral side of the upstand at an acute angle, at least two centering members, at least one centering member extending from the first lateral side of the upstand between the first decking board engagement arm and the body strip and at least one centering member extending from the second lateral side of the upstand between the second decking board engagement arm and the body strip, each upstand and/or engagement arm being resiliently deformable to allow portion of a decking board to pass and to retain the decking board relative to the support assembly in a spaced apart, non-overlapping configuration.
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for insulating adjacent to a top of an attic
An insulation system for hanging insulation in a truss is disclosed and includes a first rail configured to be installed on a first truss and a second rail configured to be installed on a second truss spaced apart from the first truss.
