A building assembly includes a plurality of expanded polystyrene wall panels, headers, sill panels, U blocks, U block caps, roof panels, and connectors. Each U block includes rebar and at least one of concrete and cementitious material in a recess or void therein. Each U block cap when joined to the U block creates an enclosed void in the U block which holds the rebar and concrete and/or cementitious material. A plurality of capped U blocks joins a plurality of wall panels, headers, and sills to form a wall structure. A plurality of U blocks are placed on a top surface of the wall structure. A roof assembly including a plurality of U blocks, H connectors, T connectors, and combinations thereof connected to roof panels to form a rigid roof assembly. A coating of cementitious material provides additional structural rigidity and resistance to impact, fire, water, mold, mildew, and insects.

Framing device

A simplified framing system with two or more arches which are joined together into a unitary structure by means of connector elements. Each arch is joined to a base by means of connector elements herein termed “base frame connectors”. The angle frame connectors and base frame connectors are preferably fabricated from sheet metal by conventional die cutting and press-forming or stamping techniques. The simplified framing system of this disclosure is particularly designed for assembly using nominal 2×4 inch lumber. The system does not require cutting the lumber except for straight, perpendicular cutting of the lumber to the desired lengths.

A roof system and related methods for installing the roof system. The roof system includes a roof diaphragm including a nail board and an insulating panel connected to the nail board, wherein the insulating panel is adapted to be positioned between the nail board and a roof frame so that the insulating panel engages the roof frame. In several exemplary embodiments, the nail board comprises one or both of: oriented strand board (OSB) and plywood. In several exemplary embodiments, the insulating panel comprises one or both of: a closed-cell rigid polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core and a polystyrene foam core. In several exemplary embodiments, the roof system further includes a plurality of nail board fasteners connecting the roof diaphragm to the roof frame, the nail board fasteners each extending through the nail board, through the insulating panel, and into the roof frame to a depth.

METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A WEATHER-PROTECTING ROOF TRUSS AND A WEATHER-PROTECTING ROOF TRUSS BUNDLE
20170314264 · 2017-11-02 ·

Disclosed is a method for the installation of a roof truss on an upper part of a building. A roof truss package includes multiple trusses spaced from each other to be mounted on top of upper runners on the building's opposite walls. The method includes using a prefabricated roof truss package in which the individual trusses are disposed side by side in a bundle, with weather protection present in a pleated condition on top of the bundle. The bundle is unfolded at construction site in such a way that the adjacent trusses become locked at a certain distance from each other by brace members included in the trusses and at the same time the weather protection unfolds to cover the trusses and the intervening space. Finally, the individual trusses are fastened to the upper runners. Also disclosed is a prefabricated roof truss package which is provided with a weather protection.

AN EXTERIOR WALL AND A METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING AN EXTERIOR WALL

Disclosed is an exterior wall (17) for a building (11). The exterior wall (17) comprises an inner wall (20) including a load-bearing structure formed by a transversal roof metal profile (14) and a transversal foundation metal profile (13) between which a number of intermediate metal profiles (15) extend, and wherein an inside surface (59) of the inner wall (20) is provided inner sheathing (63). The exterior wall (17) also comprises an outer wall (21) including a load-bearing structure formed by a transversal roof metal profile (14) and a transversal foundation metal profile (13) between which a number of intermediate metal profiles (15) extend, and wherein an outside surface (64) of the outer wall (21) is provided outer sheathing (62). The inner wall (20) and the outer wall (21) are mutually fixed at the transversal metal roof profiles (13) and the transversal metal foundation profiles(14) so that a cavity (34) is formed between the inner wall (20) and the outer wall (21). A method for constructing an exterior wall (17) of a building (11) is also disclosed.

Dwelling

20170284080 · 2017-10-05 ·

The invention relates to a fold-out prefabricated construction structure and method for the assembly thereof. The structure, having bays of desired width, length and shape, is made up of porticos formed by pillars and an upper structure (27). The method involves positioning the base (1) on a surface (28) and provisionally fixing at least one portion of said base. This allows opening the porticos with the help of auxiliary structures created for this purpose (14). The elements of the structure are fixed to one another, and to the surface of the portions of the base in their final position. Each of the porticos not yet fixed must be moved to their final position, in a successive manner and separately from the closest fixed portico, together with the rest of still free attached porticos, and suitably fixed to the surface.

GABLE ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH A MODULAR WATERCRAFT LIFT COVER
