Translucent Ceiling or Wall Panel
A ceiling panel according to the present invention has opposed translucent membranes secured in a tensioned state across a perimeter frame. The frame includes frame members that are designed to oppose inward bowing of the perimeter frame caused by the tensioned membranes. The frame members have a side profile shaped to conceal a grid support network with the lower translucent member extending across and about a lower edge of the perimeter frame. The invention also includes a modified structure for supporting of translucent panels below a grid network.
BUILDING PANEL ADAPTED TO BE MOUNTED AT A CEILING OR WALL OF A ROOM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUCH BUILDING PANEL
The building panel (1) is adapted to be mounted at a ceiling or wall of a room so that a framework (2) of the building panel has a room-facing side (3) and a building-facing side (4). A textile (5) is extended over the room-facing side (3) of the framework (2) and has a first surface (6) facing the framework (2) and a second surface (7) generally visible from said room. A mesh (8) is laminated onto the first surface (6) of the textile (5) and is attached to the framework (2) by means of a number of connectors (9). Each connector (9) has a first end (10) in the form of a gripper inserted between a part of the mesh (8) and the textile (5) and a second end (13) attached to the framework (2).
Acoustical panel frame
An acoustical panel apparatus includes a laminate panel substrate that is receptive to ink printing operations. The substrate may be provided with folding grooves to form an apertured base, a sidewall, and an inner wall which together define a receptacle. An acoustical tuning body is positionable at the receptacle to attenuate at least one of sound transmissions and sound reflections from sound passing through the apertures in the base. A mounting bracket is attached to the panel to secure the acoustical tuning body at the receptacle and for mounting the panel substrate to a wall or ceiling.
THERMALLY ACTIVATED BUILDING PANEL
The thermally activated building panel (1) includes a metal plate (2) having a room-facing surface (3) and a building-facing surface (4). A heat-exchanger tube (5) for conveying a cooling or heating medium is in conductive thermal contact with the building-facing surface (4) of the metal plate (2). A textile (9) is arranged on the room-facing surface (3) of the metal plate (2) and has a first surface (10) generally contacting the metal plate (2) and a second surface (11) generally visible from said room. The textile (9) is tensioned between opposed edges (12) of the metal plate (2). The first surface (10) of the textile (9) is metallized by deposition of metal particles on the textile (9).
CEILING TILES
A ceiling structure includes a suspended framework having a plurality of main runners and a plurality of cross runners interconnected to define an array of tile receiving openings, each of the plurality of main runners and the plurality of cross runners including a tile mating surface facing downward to define a mounting frame at each respective tile receiving opening, and a plurality of ceiling tiles positioned within the array of tile receiving openings, each of the plurality of ceiling tiles having a main body. The main body of the ceiling tile includes a base having a periphery, a plurality of magnets positioned at the periphery and sized and shaped to magnetically couple the ceiling tile within a respective one of the tile receiving openings, and a plurality of baffles coupled to the base, each baffle being spaced apart from the other. Related methods, systems, and ceiling tiles are also provided.
SOUND-ABSORBING DEVICE
In a sound-absorbing device (1) which is suspended from ceilings (3) in rooms (2), comprising a frame (4) which is fastened at a distance from the ceiling (3) and parallel thereto, and at least one flat structure with sound-absorbing properties which is inlaid or inserted into the frame (4),
on the one hand a sound-absorbing property should be present as far as possible over the entire surface of the ceiling (3) and on the other hand sufficient illumination should be possible for the interior of the room. This is solved in accordance with the present invention by at least one intermediate space (11) being provided in the flat structure (5), by one or more lighting means (12) being arranged in the respective intermediate space (11), and by each of the lighting means (12) being locked to the frame (4) directly or by means of support elements (13).
REMOVABLE PANEL AND SUSPENDED CEILING INTEGRATING SUCH A REMOVABLE PANEL
A removable panel is provided. The removable panel including a fixed section including a metal fixed section frame, an opening section including a metal opening section frame able to be reversibly nested in the fixed section, at least one magnet that makes it possible to maintain the opening section nested in the fixed section, at least one sling fastened to the fixed section at a first end and reversibly fastened to the opening section at a second end. The removable panel includes at least one safety device able to ensure the fastening of the at least one sling to the opening section.
A suspended ceiling that integrates a removable panel is also provided.
SUPPORTING ACCESSORIES FOR CEILING STRUCTURES
A light fixture for mounting in a t-bar ceiling structure, the light fixture includes a housing configured to support a ring-shaped lens to at least partially surround an inner reflective surface, the inner reflective surface being configured to at least partially reflect light incident thereon from the lens, to present a mirage effect in a transition zone near the lens.
PANEL FOR A SUSPENDED CEILING OR THE LIKE AND METHOD OF MOUNTING A FABRIC ON A FRAME OF A SUSPENDED CEILING OR THE LIKE
The panel (1) includes a frame (4) with a fabric (5) stretchable over a lower side (6) thereof. An edge (8) of the fabric (5) is attached to a peripheral side (9) of the frame by means of a number of fastening brackets (11) distributed along the edge of the fabric. Firstly, each fastening bracket is attached to the peripheral side at a first lower position (15) in which the fabric is hanging loosely under the frame by hanging a hook-formed element (13) of the fastening brackets on a first lower protrusion (17) provided at the peripheral. Secondly, each fastening bracket is repositioned from said first lower position to a second upper position (16) in which the fabric is stretched over the lower side of the frame by hanging the hook-formed element of the fastening brackets on a second upper protrusion (18) provided at the peripheral side of the frame.
