MODULAR CEILING SYSTEM
20220064949 · 2022-03-03 ·

A structural grid support system adapted for transferring seismic loads to the vertical structural supports of a modular structure. The system includes larger and longer high load capacity main runners with mechanically fastened cross tees, which transfer seismic forces without failing. The structural grid can provide a diaphragm using mechanically fastened connections in a single horizontal plane without requiring additional overhead support from the roof deck, or requiring fewer such supports. The main runners may include additional connecting elements disposed within the usable space beneath the runner (e.g., ventral threaded receivers) for attaching deployment-specific equipment or hardware, such as network cable trays.

T-BAR FOR SUSPENDED CEILING WITH HEAT DISSIPATION SYSTEM FOR LED LIGHTING
20230392778 · 2023-12-07 ·

The T-bar includes an elongate rigid spine extending between terminal ends including, in some embodiments, either a fixed anchor or adjustable anchor for attachment to adjacent T-bars or other supports. An upper heat sink is provided on an upper portion of the spine to enhance heat transfer from the T-bar to air surrounding upper portions of the T-bar. A light housing is provided on a lower portion of the T-bar which is configured to support a lighting module therein, such as a light emitting diode (LED) light. A lower heat sink is provided above this light housing and integrated into a rest shelf which supports ceiling tiles adjacent the T-bar. A power supply is provided which can be removably attached to the T-bar and provide appropriately conditioned power for the lighting module.

Partially lighted t-bar

The partially lit T-bar includes a spine with a rest shelf at a lower portion thereof. The rest shelf supports adjacent ceiling tiles. The under surface of the rest shelf includes a lighting module on a portion and a plain unlit undersurface on other portions. Additional T-bars which are shorter, and typically fully lit or fully unlit and half the length of the partially lit T-bar are also provided which can attach at ends or near a midpoint of the partially lit T-bar and typically perpendicularly thereto. A great variety of lighting patterns in a dropped ceiling is thus facilitated. Each of the T-bars preferably also includes a heat sink on an upper portion of the spine and also preferably a lower heat sink on an upper portion of the rest shelf. Heat associated with the light element of the T-bar can thus be drawn away from a space below the ceiling.

Reconfigurable wall hanger mounting system

A reconfigurable wall hanger mounting system having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface. A channel is formed between two connection components in which a support rail or other accessory may be secured to support a ceiling. Another channel is defined by the connection component that can receive other accessories and accessory mounting mechanisms. A door-opening header module may be secured to a connection component so that a flush surface between the support rail, ceiling, and door-opening header module is created across the top of a door-opening in the reconfigurable wall system.

A grid mounting system for a suspended ceiling system in one embodiment includes a support structure and a mounting bracket coupled to the support structure. An elongated first grid member is pivotably coupled to the mounting bracket about a pivot axis defined by a pivot member. The first grid member is movable about the pivot axis in a plurality of angular mounting positions. In one embodiment, the grid mounting system further includes a second grid member which may be pivotably or fixedly coupled to the mounting bracket. The support structure may be a wall or perimeter trim bracket attached to the wall in some installations.

LINEAR PANEL

A linear wall or ceiling panel comprising and formed from a woven or non-woven fibrous material. Preferably, the material is thermoformable and non-woven and comprises at least one of the group consisting of: bi-core polyester fibers: two different types of fibers having different melting points; a mixture of bi-core polyester fibers and non-bi-core (single core) polyester fibers. The panel is preferably shaped to provide means for mounting the panel to a carrier. Optionally, an end portion may be provided to cover the open longitudinal end of the linear panel.

SUSPENSION CEILING WITH PARALLEL VANES FOR BUILDING STRUCTURES
20210032864 · 2021-02-04 · ·

A suspended ceiling system for a building structure includes a plurality of parallel struts for supporting a plurality of parallel vanes suspended from the struts in perpendicular relationship thereto. The vanes can be suspended in downwardly spaced relationship to the struts or in contiguous relationship therewith and occur in different forms including illuminated vanes, adjustable vanes and the like.

DECORATIVE CEILING BEAM

In at least one embodiment, the present invention provides a decorative ceiling beam assembly having a longitudinally extending reversible base plate, a longitudinally extending first side wall portion, a longitudinally extending second side wall portion and a longitudinally extending reversible bottom plate such that the components interfit to create a longitudinally extending, rectangularly prismatic decorative ceiling beam having a hollow cross section.
