LINEAR PANEL

A linear wall or ceiling panel comprising and formed from a woven or non-woven fibrous material. Preferably, the material is thermoformable and non-woven and comprises at least one of the group consisting of: bi-core polyester fibers; two different types of fibers having different melting points; a mixture of bi-core polyester fibers and non-bi-core (single core) polyester fibers. The panel is preferably shaped to provide means for mounting the panel to a carrier. Optionally, an end portion may be provided to cover the open longitudinal end of the linear panel.

Precursor for a furring channel clip, furring channel clip formed therefrom, method of making a furring channel clip, and method of mounting a furring channel to a load bearing member
10060460 · 2018-08-28 · ·

Disclosed is a precursor for a clip and a clip formed by the precursor. The clip is configured for mounting a furring channel to a load-bearing member and is a generally U-shaped member having a pair of sidewalls, each of which includes a pair of tabs projecting therefrom. The clip is arranged to receive the load-bearing member between its sidewalls, such that the tabs can be snap-fit under inwardly directed flanges of the furring channel. Also disclosed is a method of forming the clip from the precursor, by bending portions of the precursor to form the sidewalls of the clip, and a method for mounting a furring channel onto a load-bearing member using the clip.

A bracket is disclosed. The bracket is coupled to a joist by rotating the bracket relative to the joist until the longitudinal axis of the bracket is aligned in parallel orientation with the longitudinal axis of the joist to achieve a snap-in engagement. The bracket includes a first bracket section having a first lateral wing and an opposite second lateral wing extending outwardly from a base of the first bracket section and a second bracket section that is aligned in perpendicular orientation relative to the first bracket section. The first lateral wing is configured to flex relative to the base, and the second lateral wing is configured to flex relative to the base during engagement of the bracket to a joist.

A framing assembly is disclosed. The framing assembly includes a bracket defining a first bracket section and a second bracket section aligned in perpendicular relation relative to the first bracket section along a bracket bend. The bracket includes a first slit and a second slit formed along the second bracket section. The first slit and the second slit define a tapered or triangular shape. The first bracket section includes a plurality of linear sides and corners defined along the linear sides. The first bracket section may be coupled to a joist by disposing the first bracket section within an interior portion of a joist defined by a web, flanges, and returns of the joist. The linear sides and the corners of the bracket facilitate the bracket to snap in place within the interior portion of the joist and the first slit and the second slit receive the returns of the joist.

A composite wall assembly has an auxiliary wall and an inner wall. The auxiliary wall has a hollow space and a first supporting pillar having multiple first through holes. The inner wall is attached to the auxiliary wall and forms a depositing space. The inner wall has a first wall member, a second wall member, and a second supporting pillar having multiple second through holes. The depositing space is formed between the first wall member and the second wall member. The auxiliary wall provides a cushion effect and is not damaged easily in the earthquake for protecting the pipelines in the hollow space. The interior ambient temperature of the building is lowered by the hollow space of the auxiliary wall.

A bar of a support structure for a false ceiling is described. The bar has an elongated shape along a longitudinal direction and includes at least two sheet metal portions located side by side or overlapped, in contact or adherent, with each other along said longitudinal direction, or short side direction. In the bar a transverse direction, or short-side direction, extending transverse to, or intersecting, said longitudinal direction is defined. At least one of the sheet metal portions has cuts defining partially cut parts, wherein a partially cut part of said at least one of the sheet metal portions protrudes towards the other of said sheet metal portions in a thickness direction so as to determine an interference of parts in the thickness direction. The cuts are arranged, are directed, or extend along said transverse direction and the partially cut parts have, when viewed in perspective, an at least partially curvilinear or concave profile.
