Wall with pre-bent tubing
RE050072 · 2024-08-06 · ·

A thermal wall system may include a plurality of blocks configured to interconnect with each other forming a monolithic wall. The plurality of blocks form a series of vertical interior cavities that each extend from a top of the plurality of blocks to a bottom of the plurality of blocks, and tubing vertically extends through the series of vertical interior cavities.

Flood protection device

A flood prevention device, for example an automatically closing air brick, is provided. The flood prevention device can comprise a body having an outer side and an inner side with an opening and a channel formed through the body, and a valve comprising a flap and a buoyancy structure, wherein the flap is pivotally mounted to the body and allows gas to flow through the channel in an open position and seals the channel in a closed position.

INTERLOCKING BLOCKS AND A METHOD TO BUILD WALLS
20180305923 · 2018-10-25 ·

A massive block preferably made of compressed earth is described as well as a method to build walls utilizing the massive blocks. By combining wooden frame construction and massive wall construction with bricks or other massive block elements, a wall can be built with the advantages of both. A wooden stud frame is erected, the electricity and other utilities are placed through the frame and then the frame is covered up on both sides with large massive blocks of a specific design that interlock with both the frame and each other. The cavities in between the blocks can then be filled up with a filler such as sand to create additional thermal mass and improve the sound insulation properties of the wall. A second embodiment of the wall utilizes an extra layer of blocks with grooves to accommodate a radiant heating system and insulation material.

A mold assembly is used for manufacturing a ventilated building block. The ventilated building blocks are configured such that adjacent stacked blocks are inverted and reversed, thereby establishing front-to-back air passages that do not provide a sight line and prevent rain from passing through while enabling air ventilation.

STRUCTURAL SYSTEM OF STEEL PLATES AND WALLS WITH BIOCLIMATIC AND ACOUSTIC APPLICATION
20180148929 · 2018-05-31 ·

The structural system of steel walls and plates with bioclimatic and sound application relates to the creation of a general structure of buildings, walls, roofs and soils with thermal and sound isolation from an earthquake-resistant steel structure of hollow beams and columns complemented with walls and plates in oval piping made of steel, which may be installed both vertically and horizontally with their own fixation means in a building for air recirculation, with interconnected and addressed tubular structures which contain thermal and sound isolation materials controlling airflow in the to modify the weather and/or sound conditions inside the building.

PRINTED HEATER ELEMENTS INTEGRATED IN CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
20180094434 · 2018-04-05 ·

The present invention relates to a heating element, which is integrated into the construction material. Integration of the heating element according to the present invention into the construction material limits space needed for the heating system. In addition, the used heating element provides reduced power consumption compared to conventional technologies. A construction element according to the present invention comprises a construction material, a heating element comprising a foil comprising a PTC composition layer or a PTC composition layer, at least one adhesive layer, a substrate and a connector, wherein said heating element is embedded between said construction material and said substrate, and wherein said PTC layer comprises a semi-crystalline material, at least one binder and an electronically conductive material.

Flood vent trigger systems

A flood vent includes a door pivotable within a frame between a closed position and an open position. A fluid trigger that is triggerable by a fluid to allow the door to pivot from the closed position to the open position includes a retainer and a fluid modifiable material. The fluid modifiable material is positioned between the door and the retainer thereby obstructing the door from pivoting from the closed position to the open position until the fluid modifiable material is modified by contact with the fluid.
