Wall System
A monolithic corner and/or adapter panel encapsulates one or more panels while maintaining structural integrity and maintain hygienic properties. The corner may securely receive one or more panels and provide flexibility to easily adjust the one or more panels. The corner and/or adapter panel may simplify installation and an ability to adjust connected panels without compromising safety, installation time, and sterility.
BACKPLATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR MODULAR WALL SYSTEMS AND INSTALLATION METHODS
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to modular wall systems and methods of installing modular wall systems in hygienic environments. In one aspect, gap cover apparatus are disclosed. In one aspect, backplate arrangements are disclosed. In one aspect, non-progressive installation methods are disclosed. The modular wall systems can eliminate protruding ledges while maintaining structural integrity and hygienic properties.
Modular panel system and a wall installation method
The present invention relates to the construction industry, and in particular to laboratories, hospitals, food production areas and other places where asepsis is required. Specifically, it relates to a modular construction system based on self-supporting panels, which have post-formed exterior surfaces and are complemented with corner components of similar construction to build hermetic, waterproof and insulating walls that have smooth surfaces. For this, there is a modular system of panels for forming aseptic spaces within an enclosure and a method of installing a clean room wall by means of a modular system of panels to form aseptic spaces inside an enclosure.
EXTERIOR WALL PANEL AND EXTERIOR WALL PANEL ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure concerns an exterior wall panel comprising a wall framework defining inner and outer wall surfaces and having peripheral edges. The exterior wall panel further comprises a vapor barrier membrane superposed to the inner wall surface and covering at least one peripheral edge and being secured thereto, a weather barrier membrane superposed to the outer wall surface and covering at least one peripheral edge and being secured thereto. The present disclosure also concerns an external wall panel assembly comprising a plurality of such external wall panels and a method for forming such an exterior wall panel assembly.
Closed shear wall hold down system
A closed wall hold down system is provided including at least one closed wall panel, at least one first tie rod, at least one second tie rod, at least one coupler nut, and at least one ratcheting take-up device. The at least one closed wall panel includes a bottom plate and a top plate. The at least one first tie rod projects through the bottom plate. The at least one coupler nut is coupled to the at least one first tie rod and to a first end of the at least one second tie rod. A second end of the at least one second tie rod extends through the top plate. The at least one ratcheting take-up device engages the second end of the at least one second tie rod. A method of installing the closed wall hold down system is also provided.
Modular Building System
A modular building construction system comprising a plurality of panels, each panel having two spaced apart sheets; an insulating core portion positioned between said spaced apart sheets, wherein edge portions of the spaced apart sheets define a hollow cavity, the cavity extending along peripheral portions of the panel wherein the panel comprises a length (l) and a height (h) wherein top and bottom channel members face outwardly and extend along the length (l) of the panel and are positioned in respective hollow cavities along in-use top and bottom peripheral portions of the panel respectively; and wherein first and second opposite side channels face outwardly and extend along the height (h) of the panel and are positioned in respective hollow cavities along each of the lateral peripheral portions of the panel respectively and wherein during use the channel members are adapted to be interconnected with one or more building elements positioned along said peripheral portions.
REINFORCED STUD-FRAMED WALL
A reinforced stud-framed wall, including a bottom plate; first and second vertical studs; a member supported on the bottom plate, the member having a compression strength greater than a compression strength of the bottom plate; the first vertical stud having a bottom end supported on the member with a first contact area, whereby a load on the first contact area is spread over a first area on the bottom plate larger than the first contact area; and the second vertical stud having a bottom end supported on the member with a second contact area, whereby a load on the second contact area is spread over a second area on the bottom plate larger than the second contact area.
MODULE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MODULE, A BUILDING WALL AND A BUILDING
A module, in particular for a building, includes a wall having at least two, preferably parallel, wall outer sides, which are spaced apart from one another. At least one channel is disposed between the two wall outer sides and is filled with a self-curing material. A building including at least one module, a method for producing a module, a method for producing a building wall and a method for producing a building, are also provided.
Building formed of encapsulated structural foam panels
The invention concerns a building having a wall comprising a plurality of structural wall panels, each panel having: a central core at least 80 mm thick formed from a substantially rigid polyurethane foam; and a polyurea or polyurethane skin 1-6 mm thick substantially encapsulating the central core; at least some of the panels incorporating a roof section; and the panels having sufficient 3 structural integrity to provide at least a wall of the building without the need for support beams.
