Reinforcing bar positioner and method
A rebar positioner for being placed within an open core of a masonry block having an open core and an adjacent closed core separated by a web, and including a wire defining first and second laterally spaced-apart support elements adapted to extend over and be supported by the web of the block. Respective end portions of the first and second support elements are adapted for extending into the enclosed core of the block. A rebar positioning segment defines at least two rings adapted for being positioned in laterally spaced-part relation within the open core of the block and surrounding first and second sections of vertically extending rebar positioned in the open core. The wire forming the positioner is bent such that the end portions of the first and second support elements are adapted for extending into the closed core at a level below an upper surface of the block and the at least one ring is adapted for extending into the open core at a level below the upper surface of the block.
TEXTILE-REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE USING TEXTILE GRID FIXING APPARATUS AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME
Provided are a textile-reinforced concrete structure using a textile grid fixing device and a construction method therefor. A textile grid is precisely disposed at a predetermined position between a mold and a main reinforcing bar using a textile grid fixing device so as to be prevented from being moved by a pouring pressure when concrete is poured, and thus a textile-reinforced concrete structure can be precisely constructed. The textile grid fixing device is fixed to one side of the mold, and the textile-reinforced concrete structure is constructed using the textile grid fixing device such that fine cracks are suppressed from being generated on a surface of concrete. Further, a surface of a concrete structure is protected from an external environment when the textile-reinforced concrete structure is constructed so that a covering thickness of concrete can be reduced, and thus, the textile-reinforced concrete structure can be economically constructed.
PANEL OF INSULATING MATERIAL WITH ATTACHED REINFORCEMENT
The reinforcing panel for reinforced concrete structures comprises a plurality of sticks (2) suitable for being arranged parallel to each other through a panel (12) of insulating material. The sticks (2), near the opposite ends (20), have a corresponding pair of slots (4, 5) protruding bilaterally in use from said panel (12) of insulating material. The slots (4, 5) are suitable for engaging and retaining reinforcing metal wires (6) on orthogonal planes.
APPARATUS FOR ARRANGING STEEL REINFORCEMENT PRIOR TO A CONCRETE POUR
A rebar support comprising: an elongate body have a first plurality of rebar cradles disposed along its length for holding rebars in a first direction; a plurality of chairs located along a back of the elongate body, each of the chairs including at least one cradle for holding steel reinforcement members in a second direction at right angles to the first direction; and first and second complementary engagement formations located at opposed ends of the elongate body for facilitating end-to-end fastening of two or more rebar supports.

CHAIR FOR SUPPORTING REINFORCING BARS AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a chair for supporting rebars above a surface in a reinforced concrete structure. The chair comprises a support structure which includes a rebar supporting area for receiving the rebars, a first leg and a second leg. The chair further comprises first and second base members which are adapted to engage with the first and the second leg ends. Therefore, when the first leg end and the second leg end are securely engaged with respectively the first base member and the second base member, the support structure is supported above the surface by the first base member and the second base member such as to receive rebars. Accordingly, concrete may be poured around the chairs positioned on the surface and further around the rebars that are supported by them.
Foundation with pedestal and ribs for towers
A fatigue resistant gravity based spread footing under heavy multi-axial cyclical loading of a wind tower. The foundation having a central vertical pedestal, a substantially horizontal continuous bottom support slab, a plurality of radial reinforcing ribs extending radially outward from the pedestal. The pedestal, ribs and slab forming a continuous monolithic structure. The foundation may have a three-dimensional network of post-tensioning elements that keep the structural elements under heavy multi-axial post compression with a specific eccentricity intended to reduce stress amplitudes and deflections and allows the foundation to have a desirable combination of high stiffness and superior fatigue resistance. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
THERMAL INSULATION PLATE AND ITS USE
A thermal insulation plate (1), which is manufactured from cellular plastic, and the upper surface of which comprises grooves (5a, 5b), which are arranged in two directions over the area of the entire surface. The thermal insulation plate comprises at least in part of the groove (5a, 5b) intersections a spacer (6, 6a, 6b) for installing reinforcement, which is formed from thermal insulation material as a fixed part of the thermal insulation plate.
Foundation with pedestal and ribs for towers
A wind turbine foundation comprising a concrete support slab having a horizontal rebar grid therein, a concrete pedestal integral with the support slab and having vertical post tensioning elements therein and a plurality of concrete ribs on top of and integral with the support slab and integral with the pedestal, the ribs having rebar therein and extend outwardly from the pedestal, the pedestal, slab and ribs are connected to each other to form a monolithic foundation. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
Support for reinforcing members in concrete footing
A structure for supporting reinforcement bars includes a base, and first legs extending upwardly from the opposite sides of the base. Attached to shoulders of the first legs are first and second cradles, each having opposing sidewalls that form channels therebetween. Reinforcement bars inserted into the first and second cradles are retained within the channels by retaining members protruding from the opposing sidewalls. A first base support member spans a central opening in the base between the first legs. Second legs extend upwardly from the first base support member and connect to the cradles. Third and fourth legs extend upwardly from opposing ends of the base and connect to the cradles. The structure includes fillets at various points on the cradles, including fillets connecting the cradles to the shoulders of the first legs.
