PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE
A protective structure is provided that is configured to crush descending items into particles. The protective structure comprises an upper mesh layer made of hard material capable of crushing the descending items and a bottom layer made of combined hard material and relatively soft material, wherein the bottom layer is capable of absorbing the particles. The protective structure is further provided with a plurality of supporting poles that are positioned between the upper mesh layer and the bottom layer.

REBAR SPACER
A rebar spacer installed in a rebar crossing portion includes a spacer body and a pair of installation metal fittings. The spacer body includes a main portion and a pair of leg portions integrally formed with the main portion. The pair of leg portions is protrudingly provided with an interval on a rebar-side surface of the main portion. The interval between the pair of leg portions is equal to or larger than a diameter of the rebar and a depth of the pair of leg portions in an installation direction is equal to or less than the diameter of the rebar. Each one of the pair of installation metal fittings has a structure such that one end portion is locked into one of the pair of leg portions and the other end portion is hooked on a back-side rebar.

SLAB BOLSTER WITH IMPROVED CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A slab bolster element includes a frame member having a male connector at a first end and a female connector at an opposite second end. The male connector includes a substantially solid insertion body with a surface having a transverse locking groove. The female connector includes a receptacle body configured to receive the insertion body of a complementary male connector, and a resiliently flexible locking tab positioned and configured to resiliently deflect to allow the insertion of the insertion body of another slab bolster element into the receptacle body, and to resiliently engage with the transverse locking groove of the insertion body when the insertion body is received within the receptacle body. The resiliently flexible locking tabs can be oriented any direction to mate with similarly shaped male connectors, and material can be strategically removed from standoffs and connectors to minimize the use of materials.
Reinforcing bar positioner and method
A rebar positioner for being placed within an open core of a masonry block having an open core and an adjacent closed core separated by a web. A wire defines first and second laterally spaced-apart support elements adapted to extend over and be supported by the web of the block. End portions of the first and second support elements are adapted for extending into the enclosed core of the block. A rebar positioning segment defines at least one ring adapted for being positioned within the open core of the block and surrounding a section of vertically extending rebar positioned in the open core. The wire is bent such that the end portions of the first and second support elements are adapted for extending into the closed core at a level below an upper surface of the block and the at least one ring is adapted for extending into the open core at a level below the upper surface of the block.

Concrete structure using reinforcing panel including embedded reinforcing grid and method of repairing and reinforcing the same
Reinforcing panel having high durability, high strength, and high hardness is applied such that a concrete structure may be repaired to have excellent resistance to an external environment and to be structurally excellent. In comparison to existing bonding methods, a concrete structure and a reinforcing panel may be completely attached to each other as a whole using a repairing material with high fluidity as a cement-based material injected into a repair cross section. Part with microcracks is completely filled with repairing cement mortar injected at high pressure. Since reinforcing panel is precast-fabricated in a factory, embossing, intaglio, color, and the like may be easily added to an external surface of the reinforcing panel and an excellent exterior may be provided after repair due to an aesthetic cross section thereof. The reinforcing panel fabricated in a factory is applied as to reduce labor costs and construction costs.
