Metal Roof Shingle System and Method of Installation
A lightweight interlocking metal roof capping system for installation onto a steep or inclined structure roof either directly over the roof decking material or over an existing shingle roofing system, with the metal roofing system installed from the roof ridgeline down to the drip edge of the roof gutter. Cooperating outwardly extending flanges and receiving pockets for capturing and interlocking the metal panels of the roofing system create an interlock between and among panel members with overlying edge ends configured to be resistant to lift up due to winds either across the roof or along the roof edges.
Use of multi-stage polymerizate dispersions to coat metal sheets
The present invention relates to the use of aqueous multistage polymer dispersions obtainable by free-radically initiated aqueous emulsion polymerization, having a soft phase and a hard phase and having a hard-to-soft stage ratio of 25% to 95% by weight to 75% to 5% by weight, the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the soft phase, as first stage, being 30 to 0 C. and that of the hard phase, as second stage, being 20 to 60 C., comprising at least one monomer of the general formula I ##STR00001##
in which the variables have the following definitions:
n=0 to 2,
R1, R2, R3=independently of one another hydrogen or methyl group,
XO or NH,
YH, alkali metal or NH.sub.4,
to coat metal sheets.

SYSTEM FOR RE-ROOFING ASPHALT SHINGLED ROOFS
The present concept is a method of roofing a bare roof deck. Asphalt shingles and metal flashings are applied to a wood deck of a roof before flashings and asphalt capping are applied. Metal panels are applied overtop of existing asphalt roof, thereby creating a metal overlay configured such that substantially all of the asphalt shingles are covered with a metal panel for preventing further degradation of asphalt components by shielding from sunlight, UV rays, excessive moisture, snow, wind, ice and fire. No further flashings are installed thereby the metal panel overlay creates a semi-watertight seal wherein the metal panel overlay together with asphalt roof is adapted to create a watertight seal. The present concept is also a method for roofing an existing asphalt shingled roof where metal panels are applied overtop the existing asphalt shingled roof. This creates a metal overlay that covers substantially all of the asphalt shingles for preventing further degradation of asphalt components, and provides a method of preserving an asphalt shingled roof.

METAL ROOFING SHINGLES WITH ALIGNMENT, SEALING AND AESTHETIC FEATURES
A roofing system has metal roofing shingles that have formed side lap features that are configured to facilitate alignment of adjacent side lapped metal roofing shingles of a shingle installation along a roofing structure and that couple the metal roofing shingles together and form seals and seams along their side lapped peripheral edges. The metal roofing shingles also can have alignment features that cooperate to align shingles in one course with shingles in a next lower course within their headlap regions. The roofing system also has standing seam features configured to couple to the metal roofing shingles to cover the formed seams.

Moulded article with decorative surface
A moulded article is provided with a presentation side surface and a non-presentation side surface, where the presentation side surface provides for a pre-determined surface decoration, and the non-presentation side surface is an opposing face to the presentation side surface. The non-presentation side surface includes one or more structure(s), where the one or more structure(s) are arranged or positioned to provide or contribute the pre-determined surface decoration of the presentation side surface.
