Moulded article with decorative surface

A moulded article is provided with a presentation side surface and a non-presentation side surface, where the presentation side surface provides for a pre-determined surface decoration, and the non-presentation side surface is an opposing face to the presentation side surface. The non-presentation side surface includes one or more structure(s), where the one or more structure(s) are arranged or positioned to provide or contribute the pre-determined surface decoration of the presentation side surface.

METAL ROOFING SHINGLES

A roofing system including a plurality of photovoltaic modules installed on a roof deck, where each of the photovoltaic modules includes at least one solar cell, and a plurality of metal roofing shingles installed on the roof deck adjacent the plurality of photovoltaic modules, where the plurality of metal roofing shingles includes at least a first metal roofing shingle and a second metal roofing shingle, where each of the metal roofing shingles includes a first layer that includes a metal material, and a second layer that includes a polymer material, where the second layer includes a nail zone with a plurality of fasteners extending therethrough, fastening the metal roofing shingle to the roof deck, where the second layer is between the roof deck and the first layer.

STEP FLAPS FOR INTEGRATING PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS WITH ROOFING SHINGLES

A system includes a plurality of photovoltaic modules, a plurality of step flaps, and a plurality of roofing shingles installed on a roof deck. Each of the step flaps includes a first layer and a second layer, with the first layer overlaying a portion of the second layer, and the first layer attached to at least a portion of an overlapping portion of the second layer within an attachment area. An end of each of the plurality of photovoltaic modules overlays a portion of a corresponding one of the plurality of step flaps. An end of a first roofing shingle overlays a first step flap. The second layer of a second step flap vertically above the first step flap overlays a headlap portion of the first roofing shingle.

A measuring apparatus for marking a cut line on roofing panels having a raised rib configuration is formed with an elongated base member and a cross member pivotally connected to the proximal end of the base member permitting rotation of the cross member relative to the base member. The cross member includes a protractor section, including indicia indicative of the angle of rotation of the cross member, to define the desired angle of a cut line. The base member includes at least two seating members removably retained within the C-channel shape of the base member to provide a stable seating of the base member on the roofing panel rib. The seating members can be interchanged to match the rib configuration. A locking mechanism secures the rotated position of the cross member to enable the measurement of the desired and then handed off to mark the cut line.
