Product leveling device for tile machines
10280634 · 2019-05-07 ·

A product leveling device mounted to the front of a feeder box of a tile machine. The device includes a scraper mechanism with a plate having an edge to manufacture tile products of predetermined dimensions from material contained in a lower mold. A production board cooperates with the lower mold to receive the material. The thickness of the tile product can be selectively reduced without affecting the structure of the tile machine. Optionally, fingers can be added to the edge to form longitudinally channels in the material. Shoes are mounted to the end of the tamper head that coact with the material, including any channels, to produce a uniform pressure to the material.

Floor element, locking system for floor elements, floor covering and method for composing such floor elements to a floor covering

Floor element of the type which, at least at two opposite edges, comprises coupling means enabling two of such floor elements to cooperate with each other at the respective edges, wherein the floor element comprises at least two components, as well as entity-forming means, which, starting from the aforementioned components, can form an entity including the components, wherein said components can adopt at least two mutual positions, whether or not by means of the disruption of the entity formed by said entity-forming means.

Tiling laminate, process, and use
10053869 · 2018-08-21 · ·

A flooring system combines a dimensionally stabilized sub-floor laminate with a dimensionally stabilized tile laminate, the sub-floor laminate and the tile laminate being held together by magnetic attraction. In one embodiment one or other of the laminates is magnetic, and the other has a ferromagnetic engagement sheet. In another embodiment, a magnetic intermediate sheet is placed between ferromagnetic strata of the two laminates. The tile laminate may include ceramic tiles, which may be glass or porcelain. Those tiles are substantially rigid. They have flat ground edges to provide abutting matching fit with adjacent tiles. On assembly, neither mortar nor grouting is employed. The sub-floor has pre-defined mounting hardware accommodations that permit the fasteners not to interfere with the flatness and fit-up of the laminates.

VENEER UNDERLAYMENT
20180127989 · 2018-05-10 ·

An underlayment for use between a veneer material and a foundation surface includes a base layer and a series of individual supports extending upwardly from the base layer and configured to create voids in a layer of bonding material used to adhere the veneer material to the underlayment. Each of the individual supports includes an outer wall extending upwardly from the base layer and terminating at an upper lip, the outer wall extending around a perimeter of each of the supports. A protrusion extends from one of the upper lip or the outer wall to form an overhang beneath which a heating element is fitted. An internal wall extends downwardly and inwardly from the upper lip to at least partially define a cavity at least partially circumscribed by the outer wall within each of the individual supports. A space is defined between the internal wall and the external wall.

HERRINGBONE SURFACE DECORATIVE MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
20180029407 · 2018-02-01 ·

A herringbone surface decorative material includes two different types of rectangular shaped surface decorative sections, i.e. type-B1 and type-B2 decorative sections. Each of the decorative sections includes a plurality of parallel oblique pattern stripes and boundary lines are formed between adjacent pattern stripes. The boundary lines of the type-B1 and the type-B2 decorative sections are mirrored each other. The present invention further provides a method for manufacturing the same.

Vibration damping floor system

A floor is disclosed having an upper contact surface disposed atop an upper subfloor, the upper subfloor having a void with a height that is defined by opposing sidewalls of the first subfloor, a top that is defined by a bottom surface of the upper contact surface, a bottom that is defined by a top surface of a lower subfloor, a width, and a length. A first resilient pad is disposed under compression within the void of the upper subfloor. The lower subfloor is disposed beneath and in contact with the upper subfloor. The lower subfloor has a void that is laterally offset from the void of the upper subfloor and a second resilient pad disposed within the void. A plurality of removable force transfer members are disposed within the void of the lower subfloor and above the second resilient pad for transferring vibrational forces and downward vertical forces to the second resilient pad.
