Cordless electrically-powered concrete screed
A power unit is configured for use as part of a concrete screed and includes a frame and a powered drive. The frame includes a drive housing. The powered drive is operably supported by the drive housing and is configured to rotate a rotatable concrete forming drum. The powered drive includes an electric motor and a battery operably coupled to the electric motor and configured to power the electric motor. The powered drive includes a drive shaft drivingly connectable relative to the drum, with rotation of the drive shaft causing corresponding rotation of the drum.
FIELD-ASSEMBLED WATER CONTROL FLOORING SYSTEMS
Described herein are methods and systems for installing flooring systems that provide waterproofing or water-control capabilities. The flooring systems can utilize a gypsum material or any other self-leveling or concrete material along with a structural board or any other type of cement, wood, gypsum board, compressed board, cellulose fiberboard, sheathing board, or sheet metal material. The flooring systems include a waterproof coating applied to the structural boards to provide the water-control features. The waterproof coating covers seams between structural boards and between structural boards and the subfloor.

Edge protection system having bridging pins
An edge protection system for use with concrete flooring, including a first part for coupling to an edge portion of a first concrete flooring panel and a second part for coupling to an opposed edge portion of a second, neighbouring, concrete flooring panel, wherein the protection system is provided in modular lengths, and wherein adjacent modular lengths are coupled by one or more bridging pins.
Edge protection system having retaining clip
An edge protection system for use with concrete flooring, including a first part for coupling to an edge portion of a first concrete flooring panel and a second part for coupling to an opposed edge portion of a second, neighbouring, concrete flooring panel, wherein the system includes a retaining clip for retaining the second part to the first part, the retaining clip being frangible to allow separation of the first and second parts after setting of the first and second concrete flooring panels.
Edge protection system having clip retainment
An edge protection system for use with concrete flooring, including a first part for coupling to an edge portion of a first concrete flooring panel and a second part for coupling to an opposed edge portion of a second, neighbouring, concrete flooring panel, wherein the system includes a retaining clip for retaining the second part to the first part, and the first part is slideable relative to the second part to engage the retaining clip against removal from the first and second parts.
Edge protection system having dowel plate
An edge protection system for use with concrete flooring, including a first part for coupling to an edge portion of a first concrete flooring panel and a second part for coupling to an opposed edge portion of a second, neighbouring, concrete flooring panel, a dowel plate and a dowel sheath, wherein the dowel plate is for supporting the second concrete flooring panel relative to the first concrete flooring panel, the dowel sheath is fitted to extend laterally from the first part, with an internal cavity of the dowel sheath aligning with apertures formed in the first and second parts such that the dowel plate is able to be inserted into the dowel sheath cavity through said apertures to a supporting position in which the dowel plate remains in the apertures and extends laterally from the second part.
