Gel with PU matrix and vegetable oil
An elastic gel includes a solid component and a liquid component. The solid component is a polyurethane polymer matrix. The liquid component is a plasticizer. The liquid component includes one or more vegetable oils or chemical derivatives of vegetable oils or a mixture thereof and is comprised in cells of the polyurethane polymer matrix.
UNDERLAYMENT PANEL HAVING DRAINAGE CHANNELS
An impact-absorbing assembly includes a covering layer being one or more of artificial turf, rubber mats, polymer mats, short pile carpeting, particulate infill, wood chips, and ground rubber chips. Also included is a layer of underlayment panels positioned beneath the covering layer. The panels have a panel section with a plurality of drain holes formed therethrough. A top surface of the panels is configured to support the covering layer. A bottom surface of the panels has a plurality of bottom projections that cooperate to define bottom channels suitable to permit water flow across the bottom surface, the bottom channels being in fluid communication with the panel drain holes. The bottom projections define a first spring rate characteristic that is part of a first stage and a second spring rate characteristic is part of a second stage, the first stage having a smaller volume of material than the second stage.
EXISTING CHANNEL RETROFIT FLOOR AND METHOD
A new athletic floor resiliently retrofit to a worn athletic floor. The worn floor includes a plurality of elongated raised channels spaced from one another and connected to a ground substrate. The new athletic floor includes at least two elongated subfloor panels. At least two elongated raised channels are spaced from one another and have a first set of adjoined elongated subfloor panels located therebetween. At least one elongated raised channel is spaced therefrom and has a second set of adjoined elongated subfloor panels located therebetween. A resilient pad is positioned between each elongated subfloor panel and the ground substrate. A new flooring is located on the first and second sets of elongated subfloor panels, covering at least one elongated raised channel, and a bottom surface of the new flooring is spaced from a top surface of the elongated raised channel by a gap.
FLOATING FLOOR
Floating floor (10) with at least one vibration-damping support (1) that is placed on a solid underground (5), whereby the support (1) comprises a relatively rigid support slat (3) provided with discrete vibration-damping elements (2) on one side, distributed at a regular distance from each other over the support slat (3), and whereby the support slat (3) is provided with a vibration-damping strip (4) on a second side opposite the first side extending in the longitudinal direction of the support slat (3), such that the support slat (3) is situated between the vibration-damping strip (4) and the discrete vibration-damping elements (2) that are placed between the floor (10) and the underground (5), such that the floor (10) rests on the underground (5) by means of the vibration-damping strip (4), the support slat (3) and the discrete vibration-damping elements (2), whereby no direct mutual contact is made between the support slat (3), the floor (10) and the underground (5).
MODULAR PAVEMENT SYSTEM WITH A WEAR-PROTECTIVE SYSTEM
This invention generically concerns pavement modules, more specifically a pavement module that includes a protective system against wear and tear of the rigid support elements of the interconnected modules that form the covering of a pavement, or the impact absorbers that integrate or are coupled to the pavement modules. The system consists of a pavement module with an upper side and a wear-protective system consisting of a protective shoe.
MODULAR PAVEMENT SYSTEM WITH RESILIENT CUSHIONING SYSTEM
This invention refers generically to pavement modules, more specifically to a pavement module that includes a resilient cushioning system to cushion the impacts caused by users in the interconnected modules that form the covering of a pavement. The system consists of a pavement module with an upper side and a resilient cushioning system that integrates a cushioning spike.
Modular sprung floor
A method, system and apparatus for a modular sprung floor. An example embodiment is a sprung floor module having interchangeable components. Interchangeable components make up standardized assemblies. An example embodiment has a frame module that may be installed in a series to cover a given area. The frame and edge modules comprise a frame that supports a performance surface. Standardized components include fiber-reinforced composite linear-structural members combined with elastomeric joints and support members.
Method, apparatus and system for producing a polyurethane sports flooring
A method for producing polyurethane flooring includes providing polyurethane reactive components including a isocyanate component and a polyol component, determining environmental data, determining process parameters for mixing the polyurethane reactive components, wherein the process parameters depend on the environmental data, mixing the foam for the polyurethane flooring by mixing the isocyanate component and the polyol component using a froth foam process with the process parameters, applying a first lane of the liquid foam to a ground, applying a second lane of the liquid foam to the ground, wherein a side edge of the second lane gets in contact with a side edge of the first lane, wherein the process parameter are determined so that the foam of the first lane is not cured before applying the foam of the second lane. Furthermore, the invention relates to an apparatus and a system for producing a polyurethane flooring.
Progressive stage load distribution and absorption underlayment system
A progressive stage load distributing and absorbing system that lies below a superstructure material which is exposed to percussive forces. The progressive stage load distributing and absorbing system is interposed between the superstructure material and a foundation. The system has a barrier layer that lies below the superstructure material and an underlayment infrastructure positioned below the barrier layer. Included in the underlayment infrastructure are hat-shaped absorbing members that have a relatively compliant stage subsystem and one or more relatively stiff stage subsystems.
