PANEL AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PANELS
A method is provided for manufacturing a panel that includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer may include a decor film and a transparent film. The decor film may be a printed synthetic material film chosen from the group consisting of a vinyl-based film, a polyethylene based film, a polyurethane based film, and a polypropylene film. A print may be situated on an upper side of the printed synthetic material film. The transparent film may be a thermoplastic synthetic material film the material of which is chosen from the group consisting of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polyurethane, and polypropylene. The method may involve providing the decor film and the transparent film on the substrate by performing a first press treatment at an increased temperature to form a package of the substrate, the decor film, and the transparent film. The first press treatment may be performed by a calendar device or a continuous press device. A structure may be formed in the thermoplastic synthetic material that forms a surface of the package by performing a second press treatment using a press device with a structured press element at a temperature that is lower than the increased temperature.
Mechanical locking of floor panels
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising tongue and grooves provided with protrusions and cavities which are displaceable in relation to each other and configured such that the protrusions can obtain a vertically unlocked position where they match the cavities and a vertically locked position where the protrusions overlap each other.
Systems and Methods Related to Natural Wood Products
Systems and methods directed to the art of installing flooring include untreated flooring planks having a hardwood top surface delivered to a jobsite and including improved thickness tolerances and/or top surface comparative coefficients of friction.
Panel and Method of Producing Such a Panel
The present invention relates to panel, in particular a floor panel, a wall panel, or a ceiling panel, comprising a core layer, comprising a mineral or a cementitious material and at least one reinforcing layer situated in said core layer; wherein the panel, in particular the core layer, comprises a first pair of opposite edges, wherein a first edge of said first pair of opposing edges comprises a first coupling part, and wherein a second edge of said first pair of opposing edges comprises a complementary second coupling part, said coupling parts allowing a plurality of panels to be mutually coupled, wherein the first coupling part comprises a sideward tongue extending in a direction substantially parallel to a plane defined by the panel, and wherein the second coupling part comprises a groove configured for accommodating at least a part of the sideward tongue of another panel, said groove being defined by an upper lip and a lower lip.
Floor panel for forming a floor covering
A floor panel is of synthetic material and forms a layer-shaped substrate with first and second pairs of opposite edges. The first pair of opposite edges has coupling parts forming a first mechanical locking system, which, in a coupled condition of two of such floor panels, effects a locking in the plane of the floor panels and perpendicular to the respective edges, and forms a second mechanical locking system, which, in a coupled condition of two of such floor panels, effects a locking transverse to the plane of the panels. The coupling parts on the first pair of opposite edges are realized substantially in the material of the floor panel itself. The floor panel is provided with an edge configuration on the second pair of edges allowing two of such floor panels to be positioned with their respective edge alongside each other and free from mechanical horizontally active locking systems.
Device for locking two floor panels
The disclosure relates to a device for locking two interconnected floor panels that are identically embodied and includes a core, an upper side and a lower side, and a first lateral edge (I) and a second lateral edge (II) opposite the first lateral edge. On the upper side, the first lateral edge (I) of the first floor panel abuts against the second lateral edge (II) of the second floor panel. A horizontal groove extending into the core is embodied in the second lateral edge (II), with an upper wall, an inner wall and a lower wall, the lower wall being formed from a lower lip projecting on the first lateral edge (I), which, on the outer end thereof, has a projection that is oriented towards the upper side and has a first locking edge, and at least one locking element is inserted in the region of the connection point of the two floor panels. An outwardly projecting spring is provided on the second lateral edge (II), and includes a step forming a spring tip on the outer end thereof, and on the end thereof facing the core, a second locking edge extending in the vertical direction (V), the locking edge being the outer wall of a vertical groove open towards the lower side, in which the projection engages. The locking takes place, in the vertical direction, by means of the spring tip engaging in the horizontal groove, and in the horizontal direction, by means of the locking element supported on the first locking edge of the projection and on the second locking edge of the spring. The disclosure is characterised in that the locking element is compressible in the vertical direction (V) and not compressible in the horizontal direction.
Wooden floor with high utilization, connection assembly, and connection structure of same
The invention discloses a wooden floor with high utilization, a connection assembly, and a connection structure of a wooden floor with high utilization and a connection assembly. The wooden floor with high utilization includes a floor body. The floor body defines a first groove on one side surface thereof in a horizontal direction. The floor body defines a second groove on the other side surface thereof in the horizontal direction. The first groove and/or the second groove define a notch. The floor body of the present invention is merely required to define grooves on two sides thereof, and is not necessary to provide a protruding male buckle, as long as the first groove or the second groove is connected with a male buckle of the connection assembly, so that wood can be saved, thus increasing a utilization rate of the wood. The wood saved by a single piece of wood floor is limited, but many a little makes a mickle. Moreover, two adjacent floor bodies can be connected by the groove to reserve a certain gap therebetween according to need, which can increase the air permeability of the floor. The use of wood can be greatly saved to protect the ever-decreasing trees, and benefit the human society.
