PANEL
A panel including a core, a top side, an underside, a first edge pair and a second edge pair. The first edge pair has a groove profile at a panel edge and a complementary tongue profile at the opposite panel edge, which are lockable by a pivotal movement and positively lock so that movement of locked panels away from each other in the plane of the panels is opposed. At its opposite panel edges the second edge pair has a complementary receiving hook and an arresting hook. The arresting hook is assembled to the receiving hook by a joining movement in a plane perpendicular to the panel plane by the pivotal movement for the first edge pair. The receiving hook or the arresting hook has a holding groove for a separate locking element that provides vertical locking. A butting surface is arranged at the receiving hook substantially orthogonal to the top side. The arresting hook has a counterpart butting surface substantially orthogonal to the top side. The second edge pair has at least one sealing nose at a lower end of the counterpart butting surface of the arresting hook or at a lower end of the butting surface of the receiving hook. The sealing nose extends parallel to the respective panel edge over the entire length of the counterpart butting surface or the butting surface.
Water resistant wood flooring
Wood flooring is described, which provides resistance to surface liquids by reducing or eliminating checking on the surface of the wood and transmission liquid through the seams in an installed wood floor. This is achieved by combining a surface coating, a wood veneer and core or solid wood, a tongue and groove profile, and application of a sealer along the tongue and groove or locking profile.
FLOORING PANEL
The invention relates to a flooring panel suitable for constructing a floor covering, which panel comprises a core layer and a decorative top layer and a layer situated between the core layer and the decorative top layer which enables improves sound performance.
Methods for manufacturing panels having a decorative surface
A method is provided for manufacturing a paper layer having a printed pattern for use in panels that at least include a substrate and a top layer. The top layer includes the paper layer. The method may involve providing the paper layer with an inkjet receiver coating by transporting the paper layer relative to a coater in a coating direction. The coated paper layer may be provided with at least a portion of the printed pattern using a digital inkjet printer that includes a housing containing print heads. Providing the printed pattern may involve using water based pigment containing inks. The printed pattern may include a wood motif having wood nerves extending generally in a nerve direction substantially corresponding to the coating direction. Providing the printed pattern may involve a relative motion between the digital inkjet printer and the paper layer during a printing operation in a printing direction substantially corresponding or substantially opposite to the coating direction. The paper layer may be maintained flat inside the housing, or the minimum radius over which the paper layer is bent inside the housing may be larger than 25 centimeters. The paper layer may be fed from a roll, printed upon, and rolled back up again.
Set of panels, method for manufacturing such set of panels, assembly of the panels and locking profile used in said panels
Described is a set of panels (1,2), each panel comprising: ⋅ a top surface (5) and a bottom surface (4); ⋅ a first edge (6) and a second edge (7) parallel to the first edge (6), said edges (6, 7) extending between said top and bottom surfaces (5, 4); ⋅ a first groove (10) provided in the bottom surface (4) of each panel, said first groove (10) extending parallel to and along the first edge (6) of the panel; ⋅ a second groove (11) provided in the bottom surface (4) of each panel, said second groove (11) extending parallel to the first groove (10) along the second edge (7) of the panel; ⋅ a locking profile (3) allowing locking a first panel (1) with its first edge (6) to the second edge (7) of a second panel (2), said locking profile (3) comprising a base (16) and at least three protruding rims (17, 18, 19) extending parallel to one another in the longitudinal direction of the locking profile (3), a first rim (17) pressed in the first groove (10) of a first panel (1) and a second rim (18) situated in between the first and third rims (17, 19) of each locking profile (3) and cooperating with a part of the first panel (1) such that a section (13) of the bottom surface (4) of the first panel (1) is clamped between the first rim and the second rim (17, 18) of the locking profile (3), the third rim (19) configured to fit in the second groove (11) of a second panel (2) thereby locking the second panel (2) to the first panel (1), characterised in that at least the second rim (18) is continuous along the entire length of the locking profile (3). Further described is a method of manufacturing the set of panels.
Method and means for making a wall by means of securing drywall panels to a background
A wall is made with the aid of drywall panels and a background. The drywall panels are provided with edge coupling profiles on their edges, which are arranged to be secured to the background and, subsequently, coupled to each other. The drywall panels may also be provided with a rear coupling profile. The drywall panels can be hooked together or coupled to each other by means of transverse sliding. The edge coupling profiles may also comprise anti-adhesive extensions, forming anti-adhesive edge areas at the front side of the drywall panel on which stucco mass does not adhere. The measures according to the invention are intended to provide drywall panels which, after use, can be disassembled easily and cleanly so that the drywall panels can be reused as drywall panels, resulting in that the environment is not burdened with gypsum waste caused by damaged, broken and destroyed drywall panels.
FLOORING PANEL
The invention relates to a flooring panel suitable for constructing a floor covering, which panel comprises a core layer and a decorative top layer and a layer situated between the core layer and the decorative top layer which enables improves sound performance.
FLOOR PANEL FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING
A floor panel contains opposite edges that contain coupling parts to link two floor panels. These coupling parts contain locking planes: first and second locking planes on the first edge with an enclosed angle between 90° and 175°; and third and fourth locking planes on the second edge with an enclosed angle between 90° and 175°. The first locking plane is closer to the top of the floor panel than the second locking plane. The angle with the surface of the floor panel of the first locking plane is smaller than the second locking plane. The angle with the floor plane surfaces of the third locking plane is smaller than that of the fourth locking plane. The second locking plane is provided for interaction with the fourth locking plane of a coupled panel. The first locking plane is provided for interaction with the third locking plane of a coupled panel.
FLOOR OR WALL COVERING
A recess is provided at the surface of a floor or wall covering between two panels mechanically coupled to each other by a male coupling part and a female coupling part. The recess may include a first recess cut out or otherwise provided at the female edge through the top layer and extending into the substrate. The recess may have a second recess cut out or otherwise provided at the male edge through the top layer and extending into the substrate. The recess includes a grouting material.
