20180263350 · 2018-09-20 ·

Method for positioning eyelashes during an application of make-up, comprising the steps of: a) applying, on the eyelashes using a brush without magnetic properties, a single mascara composition; and b) approaching a magnetic element (11, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114) to the eyelashes so as to drag them into the desired position;
the mascara composition, during and following the approaching of the magnetic element, having an aspect which is visually indistinguishable from the composition applied on the eyelashes before the application of the magnetic element.

Eyelashes shaping kit, comprising: a. a handle (9), from which an elongated element (10) extends which is formed, at least at at least one free end thereof (10B), of a ferromagnetic material; b. and at least two magnetic elements (11, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114) having different shape, which can be alternatively associated, during use, to the free end (10B) of the elongated element.

Method of making a skin care product

A method of making a skin care product that includes a skin care composition containing a skin care active with a diamagnetic susceptibility of between about 400 and 600, constructing an applicator for applying the skin care composition to a target portion of skin, and packaging the composition and applicator for retail sale. The applicator includes a magnetic array tailored to enhance penetration of the skin care active into skin. The magnetic array may be unidirectional magnetic array or a bi-directional magnetic array.

Skin care product and method of use

A cosmetic skin care product that includes an applicator and a skin care composition. The applicator includes a uni-directional magnetic array with a pitch of between 1.7 and 2.5 and a magnetic field strength of between about 24.0 and 36.0 mT. The skin care composition includes palmitoyl-lysine-threonine-threonine-lysine-serine and a dermatologically acceptable carrier. The magnetic array is tailored to enhance penetration of the Pal-KTTKS into skin during application of the skin care composition. The applicator may include a second magnetic array juxtaposed on a first magnetic array to form a bi-directional array that enhances penetration of the Pal-KTTKS into skin.

BEAUTY CARE METHOD
20180193238 · 2018-07-12 · ·

A beauty care method has a step of applying an aqueous pack agent 1 containing water, a magnetic powder 11, a thickener and a charged iontophoretic component 13 to the skin 2; a step of applying magnetic force to the magnetic powder 11 in the aqueous pack agent 1 applied to the skin 2 to attract and remove the magnetic powder 11 from the skin surface 21 by the magnetic force while leaving an aqueous solution 12 of the iontophoretic component on the skin surface 21; and a step of applying an iontophoretic current to the skin 2 with the aqueous solution 12 left to allow the iontophoretic component 13 to infiltrate into the skin.

AQUEOUS SKIN CARE AGENT
20180168953 · 2018-06-21 · ·

An aqueous skin care agent 1 contains 4 to 85 mass % of water, 13 to 80 mass % of a magnetic powder and a thickener. The magnetic powder contains a ferromagnetic ferrite as a main component and has a mean volume particle diameter being 20 to 100 ?m as determined from a particle size distribution obtained by a laser diffraction scattering method. The aqueous skin care agent 1 may contain a beauty component such as an iontophoretic component 3 and preferably contain 10 to 45 mass % of glycerin as the thickener.

Apparatus and method for heating biological targets
09956028 · 2018-05-01 · ·

An apparatus and method for selectively heating a biological target within a treatment region of a subject is disclosed. The method includes administering to the subject a dielectric heating modulator that becomes associated with the biological target. The method also includes positioning the treatment region between first and second electrodes connected to a generator, and activating the generator to apply an alternating electric field between the first and second electrodes and across the treatment region to thereby heat the treatment region. The dielectric heating modulator causes the biological target to heat at a faster rate than non-targets within the treatment region, which preferably results in the killing of the biological target.

METHOD FOR HYPERTHERMIALLY TREATING A CANCER

A nanomedicinal composition comprising a nanocarrier and a pharmaceutical agent mixture comprising an anti-cancer therapeutic and an antioxidant. The nanocarrier comprises a porous silicate matrix and particles of a magnetic ferrite disposed in the pores of the porous silicate matrix. The pharmaceutical agent mixture is disposed in the pores and/or on the surface of the nanocarrier by a solution phase impregnation process. The nanomedicinal composition is used in a method of treating breast cancer.

Dry shampoo composition

Cleaning composition, which is a dry shampoo, comprising a base and propellant, wherein the base comprises sebum absorber which comprises magnetic particles, wherein the magnetic particles have a particle size in the range of from 4 nm to 50 nm, and wherein the magnetic particles are coated with a stabilizing dispersing agent, and wherein the magnetic particles are dispersed in a liquid carrier.
