Interlocking modular mat with sponge insert
An interlocking modular mat having four sides has female connectors on two sides and male connectors on the other two sides so that the modular mat can interlock with an adjacent mat and its connectors. The modular mat is configured with a plurality of structures surrounding a periphery of a top portion of the mat. The plurality of structures in combination with an underside of the top portion of the mat form a cavity. A sponge insert is configured to fit in the cavity and have a height such that a portion of the sponge insert extends from a bottom side the mat body. With the sponge insert extending beyond the bottom side of the mat body, the sponge insert bottom face generally become the supporting bottom of the modular mat to provide a more cushioned feel for a mat user.
HARD FLOORING PLANK AND WALL PANEL PLANK
A hard flooring plank and a wall panel plank. The hard flooring plank includes a flooring plank body. A bottom surface of the flooring plank body is bonded with a retractable bonding element. A lower surface of the retractable bonding elements is bonded with a release paper layer. The wall panel plank includes a wall panel plank body. An inner side surface of the wall panel plank is bonded with a retractable bonding element, and the other side surface of the retractable bonding element is bonded with a release paper layer. The hard flooring plank not only overcomes the disadvantage of the hard flooring plank, but also has the advantages of a resilient flooring plank, so that a new breakthrough on the structure of the flooring plank body is achieved.
Jamming methods and apparatus
A reconfigurable device comprises flexible bladder that encloses a jammable material. The geometry of the device can be altered by unjamming the jammable material (making it flexible), changing the shape of the device while it is flexible, and then jamming the jammable material (making it rigid). In some applications of this invention, a joint connects rigid arms. The ends of the rigid arms are enclosed in the bladder. By varying the stiffness of the jammable material in the bladder, the stiffness of the joint can be controlled.
MODULAR FLOORING SYSTEM AND SUBFLOOR ASSEMBLY
A modular flooring system for performance weightlifting and similar activities is provided. The modular flooring system is constructed from one or more individual flooring modules that are interlocked and connected together to provide a customized flooring surface platform. The modular flooring system can include a lifting platform module having a hardwood top surface layer and a subfloor construction. The modular flooring system can include a drop-zone platform module having a rubberized top surface layer and a subfloor construction designed to absorb and withstand the force impact of dropped weights onto the top surface layer. The subfloor construction of the drop-zone module can include an upper subfloor layer, an intermediate subfloor layer and a lower subfloor layer. The intermediate and lower subfloor layers can each including alternating panel sections with one panel section constructed from a foam-based material.
Athletic floor and method therefor
A new athletic floor resiliently retrofit to a worn athletic floor having a supporting sleeper connected to a ground substrate. The new athletic floor incudes a channel section connected to the supporting sleeper, the channel section having a top plate located between and connected to each of a left vertical side wall spaced apart from a right vertical side wall. The left vertical side wall includes a left horizontal flange extending outward from the top plate and the right vertical side wall includes a right horizontal flange extending outward from the top plate. A left resilient pad rests on the left horizontal flange and a right resilient pad rests on the right horizontal flange. A new floor rests on the left resilient pad and the right resilient pad and is spaced from the top plate a first distance in a first resilient compression condition.

EASY-TO-CLEAN ANTISKID WEAR-RESISTANT FLOOR COATING, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME AND APPLICATION THEREOF
An easy-to-clean antiskid wear-resistant floor coating, a preparation method and an application method thereof are provided. The coating includes a coating component and a curing agent component, and the mass ratio of the coating component to the curing agent component is 100:45-70. The coating includes the following components: polyaspartic acid ester, polyester polyol or polyether polyol, a reactive catalyst, a solvent, a hydrophilic anti-staining agent, an ultraviolet absorbent, a heat stabilizer, elastic microspheres, a flame retardant, an mildew inhibitor, an anti-settling agent, defoaming agents, a leveling agent and pigments and fillers. The curing agent component includes isocyanate prepolymer and polyisocyanate. The easy-to-clean antiskid wear-resistant floor coating has good antiskid, wear-resistant, easy-to-clean and anti-contamination performances, can meet the antiskid wear-resistant protection requirements of the floor surface with higher decorative requirements, has a simple preparation method and process, and is beneficial to popularization.

LOAD DISTRIBUTION AND ABSORPTION UNDERLAYMENT SYSTEM WITH TRANSITION FEATURES
A load distributing and absorbing system that lies below a barrier layer that is exposed to percussive and/or point-applied forces. The load distributing and absorbing system has one or more load distributing and absorbing tiles. At least some of the tiles have an underlayment infrastructure positioned below a barrier layer. The underlayment infrastructure includes one or more hat-shaped absorbing members. Each has a ceiling primarily for load distribution and a curvilinear wall primarily for load absorption extending from the ceiling. A transition feature is provided to smoothly graduate from one height and type of load distributing and absorbing tile to a load distributing and absorbing tile of another type and height. He system distributes and absorbs forces applied to the barrier layer over a broad area when applied either on a seam between adjacent tiles or within a tile.
