PROGRESSIVE STAGE LOAD DISTRIBUTION AND ABSORPTION UNDERLAYMENT SYSTEM

A progressive stage load distributing and absorbing system that lies below a superstructure material which is exposed to percussive forces. The progressive stage load distributing and absorbing system is interposed between the superstructure material and a foundation. The system has a barrier layer that lies below the superstructure material and an underlayment infrastructure positioned below the barrier layer. Included in the underlayment infrastructure are hat-shaped absorbing members that have a relatively compliant stage subsystem and one or more relatively stiff stage subsystems.

Portable resilient floating fencing floor system

A portable fencing track that is readily assembled and disassembled at different venues includes a series of modular panels disposed adjacent to one another and interconnected to form an elongated central fencing floor. A piste or strip of electrically conductive material is placed and positioned with respect to the elongated central floor, and a perimeter floor is arranged so as to surround the central floor and the piste or strip. A threshold, preferably adjoining each of the modular panels located adjacent to the perimeter flooring, has lateral and end sections overlying adjacent portions of the strip and the perimeter floor, and at least one of the threshold sections defines a channel to receive wiring. Support elements are mounted to each of the floor panels and the perimeter floor to resiliency support the floor panels and the perimeter floor on a base surface and minimize damage over time to the ankles or hips of fencers. A process of assembling the track is also discussed.

Modular pavement system with resilient cushioning system

This invention refers generically to pavement modules, more specifically to a pavement module that includes a resilient cushioning system to cushion the impacts caused by users in the interconnected modules that form the covering of a pavement. The system consists of a pavement module with an upper side and a resilient cushioning system that integrates a cushioning spike.

SOUND DAMPENED FLOORING WITH IMPROVED ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
20240052645 · 2024-02-15 ·

A method of preparing sound dampened flooring comprises providing a flooring substrate, applying a coating of a liquid acrylic sound damping composition to a surface of the flooring substrate, drying the coating, and optionally, forming one or more additional layers on the coating. A sound dampened flooring is also disclosed.

IMPACT DAMPING MAT, EQUIPMENT ACCESSORY AND FLOORING SYSTEM
20190338512 · 2019-11-07 ·

An impact damping mat comprises a plurality of layers arranged in a stacked formation. The stacked formation has a total thickness of no greater than 4 7/16 inches. The plurality of layers cooperate to provide the impact damping mat with at least one of a coefficient of restitution no greater than 30% and a selected sound reduction characteristic. The selected sound reduction characteristic can be a reduction of a maximum sound level of at least 5 dB from 40 to 63 Hz octave bands and at least 13 dB at and above 80 Hz octave bands normalized to a conventional inch rollout rubber flooring product.

Aerodynamically Stable Roof Paver System and Ballast Block Therefor

A ballast block is provided with a body and a plurality of fluid receiving channels. The body includes a top surface, a bottom surface positioned opposite the top surface, and a first side extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. The plurality of fluid receiving channels are disposed along the first side in a plurality of units and extending from the top surface to the bottom surface to form a zigzag pattern. Each unit of the plurality of units having an adjacent pair of fluid receiving channels extending at opposing angles toward each other from the top surface to the bottom surface in an approximate V-shape.

Modular pavement system with a wear-protective system

A system including a pavement module that includes a protective system against wear and tear of rigid support elements of interconnected modules that form a covering of a pavement, or impact absorbers that integrate or are coupled to the pavement modules. The system consists of a pavement module with an upper side and a wear-protective system consisting of a protective shoe.

VOID FORMING MODULE, METHOD OF PREPARING A STRUCTURE AND USE OF SUCH MODULE IN THE PREPARATION OF A STRUCTURE

There is provided a void forming module (100), the module including a support surface (110) including a first generally planar upper region (112), a second generally planar lower region (114), and a third generally convex region (116) joining the first region and the second region. At least one of the first region, the second region, and/or the third region includes at least one aperture (120,122) for the passage of fluid through the void forming module. There is also provided a structure (200) including the void forming module, a method of preparing a structure, and the use of the void forming module.

COVERING ELEMENT

A covering element for a floor, wall and/or ceiling covering, in particular a laminate covering element, with an upper layer structure, a stability layer of wood and/or of a wood-based material adjoining the rear side of the upper layer structure, an elastic and/or acoustically damping layer adjoining the rear side of the stability layer, and a carrier plate adjoining the rear side of the damping layer.

Anti-explosion terrace material and manufacturing method therefor

An anti-explosion flooring material is disclosed. The material is prepared by foaming modification and rust prevention treatment of an iron alloy material and other auxiliary materials having components in percentage by weight: 85% of iron, 8% of manganese, 6% of silicon, and the remainder carbon. Because a foaming agent and rare earth are added, the static conducting performance of the flooring material is improved.
