METHOD FOR TREATING AND COLORING HAIR COMPRISING UN-PIGMENTED HAIR
Described herein is a method for treating and coloring hair including un-pigmented hair. The method includes (a) providing a first composition including one or more heavy metal ion sequestrants; (b) applying the first composition to the hair; (c) providing a second composition including one or more weak acids having a pKa from 2.5 to 5; (d) applying the second composition to the hair; (e) providing a third composition including one or more direct dyes chosen from nitro dye, disperse dye, cationic dye, acid dye, basic dye, neutral azo dye and mixtures thereof, and (f) applying the third composition to the hair. The third composition is able to decrease the reflectance of un-pigmented hair in a wavelength range from 530 nm to 670 nm.
Liquid antimicrobial composition
A valve structuring designed for use in all water installations, water inlets for houses, kitchen installations and embedded shower filters as a stop valve, in the areas to perform on-off control, in faucets with the purpose of providing water savings and to use in domestic and industrial type kitchen faucets as a stop valve. The valve is designed for use as an on-off valve in air installations that operate with air.
Cleansing composition for skin or hair
The present invention provides a cleansing composition for skin or hair which can provide a good durability of foam and rinse feel, give good combability and softness from during rinsing to after drying while imparting manageability to hair when the cleansing composition is applied to hair, and give good moist feeling to skin when the cleansing composition is applied to skin. The cleansing composition for skin or hair is a cleansing composition comprising an internal olefin sulfonate (A) having 12 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms.
Methods, compositions and uses relating thereto
A method of combatting colour loss from a dyed material, the method comprising the steps of: (1) contacting the material with a composition comprising an electrophilic species selected from aldehydes, succinimidyl esters, and mixtures thereof; (2) contacting the material with a composition comprising a chelating agent and/or a salt of an amine and/or a carboxylic acid.
RECONSTITUTABLE POWDER
A reconstitutable surfactant-based powder has good solubility in water and forms a stable gel when dispersed in water. The reconstitutable surfactant-based powder consists of a polymer/gum system and a dry powder extract.
Compounds which inhibit neuronal exocytosis
Compounds of general formula (I): R.sub.1-W.sub.n-X.sub.m-AA.sub.1-AA.sub.2-AA.sub.3-AA.sub.4-AA.sub.5-AA.sub.6-AA.sub.7-AA.sub.8-AA.sub.9-Y.sub.p-Z.sub.q-R.sub.2 (I) their stereoisomers, mixtures thereof and/or their cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, preparation processes, cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions which contain them and their use in medicine, particularly in the treatment and/or prevention of pain, inflammation, itching, neurological, compulsive and/or neuropsychiatric diseases and/or disorders and in processes of treatment and/or care of the skin, hair and/or mucous membranes mediated by neuronal exocytosis.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY AND DURABILITY OF COLOR IN ARTIFICIALLY COLORED HAIR
The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods for improving the quality and durability of color in artificially colored hair. The methods employ alkaline earth metal salts that act as a mordant (a fixing agent) with hair dye and salts of hydroxy-polycarboxylic acids, which act as chelators. Methods are described wherein the alkaline earth metal salts or the salts of hydroxy-polycarboxylic acids are used in a pre-color treatment (a treatment to the hair prior to artificial coloring), used as part of a coloring composition, and used in a post-color treatment (a treatment to the hair after artificial coloring).
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY AND DURABILITY OF COLOR IN ARTIFICIALLY COLORED HAIR
The present disclosure relates to methods for improving the quality and durability of color in artificially colored hair. The methods employ alkaline earth metal salts that act as a mordant (a fixing agent) with the dye and hydroxy-polycarboxylic acids, which act as chelators. The artificially colored hair is treated with a post-color treatment composition comprising one or more alkaline earth metal salts and one or more hydroxy-polycarboxylic acids. Also, the one or more alkaline earth metal salts may be incorporated into a coloring composition for coloring the hair (in-color treatment composition) and a subsequent post-color treatment composition comprising one or more hydroxy-polycarboxylic acids can be applied to the hair.
