STAIR AND WALKWAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed is an arrangement including a staircase as well as walkway systems. The staircase includes a transitional member, and the walkways incorporate grate supports in order to facilitate the connection to adjacent structures. The arrangement also utilizes angled members which are configured with a reinforced flange existing in a dimension that has higher load requirements than the other flange. A novel step configuration is also disclosed.
POST CONNECTION ADAPTER
A post connection adapter for detachably fastening a scaffolding post to a support includes a fastening body having first and second fastening-body fasteners in first and second fastening-body fastening positions, respectively, and detachably fastenable to the support selectively by the first or second fastener. The first and second positions have a fastening position distance between each other of 72 mm. The post connection adapter includes a post connection body extending toward the post connection body axis and fastened to the fastening body. An imaginary center plane containing an imaginary center point between the first and second positions is offset by 20 mm perpendicular to the center plane and to the post connection body axis, with respect to a post connection body axis plane extending parallel to the center plane and containing the post connection body axis. A device has two identical post connection adapters detachably fastened to a support.
ERECTED PLATFORM AND METHOD OF ERECTING THEREOF
An erected platform which contains parallel lines of trusses connected end-to-end and method of erecting thereof, as illustrated in FIGS. 20 to 23. Each truss has two sides for chords respectively, with apertures or eyelets at the ends. First and second other trusses for a pair of parallel lines respectively are connected by positioning a first other truss adjacent the decking laid on an existing platform portion. Apertures on first respective sides of the first other truss and one of the existing trusses are connected by a first pin and the first other truss swung into an end-to-end position with the one existing truss and a second pin inserted in apertures on second respective sides of the first other truss and the one existing truss. The first pin is removed and the first other truss swung out of the way so that the second other truss may be attached. The second other truss is positioned adjacent the existing decking and similarly connected end-to-end with the other existing truss. The first other truss is then swung back into position for end-to-end attachment to the one existing truss and the second pin re-inserted.
FOLDABLE QUAD-CHORD TRUSS
A foldable quad-chord truss which can be connected end-to-end with like trusses. The chords of each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are each swivelly attached to each of the chords of each chord pair to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to beams or connector members thereof which beams may extend between a parallel pair of the trusses.
LATCHABLE SCAFFOLD PLANKS
An improved latchable scaffold board having a board like member with fixed clips or brackets fixedly attached at each end of the board. The brackets are shaped to engage and capture a horizontal scaffold member. The board also has a movable latch at least one end that moves to a latched position, and in the latched position, the movable latch has a portion that is positioned below the horizontal scaffold member, thereby trapping the scaffold board to the horizontal scaffold member.
DEVICE FOR COVERING GAP BETWEEN TEMPORARY WORK PLATFORMS
Provided is a device for covering a gap between temporary work platforms, which is capable of securely covering a gap between spaced temporary work platforms, thereby preventing a worker's foot from being caught in a gap or preventing an accident caused by dropping of work tools, building materials or the like through a gap, and which provides excellent convenience of use due to its structure capable of simply and easily covering a gap between the temporary work platforms, and which is easily installed or dismantled without any specific work tools or devices. The device includes a flat-plate-shaped cover plate, both lateral side portions of which are placed on the top surfaces of adjacent temporary work platforms in order to cover a gap formed between the temporary work platforms. The cover plate is provided at the bottom surface thereof with a coupling portion. The device further includes at least one separation-preventing unit configured to be coupled to the coupling portion of the cover plate in order to prevent the cover plate from being separated from the temporary work platforms.
Framework platform element, in particular for scaffolding
A framework platform element, in particular for scaffolding, includes a framework platform body made from sheet metal material and extending in a longitudinal direction, with a stepping surface region providing a stepping surface on a top side and with side panel regions connecting to the stepping surface region in transition regions, formed by shaping the sheet metal material in two edge regions of the stepping surface region and situated at a distance from one another in a transverse direction. At least one side panel region has an end profile region, formed by shaping the sheet metal material, in an end region spaced apart from the transition region in a vertical direction, wherein in at least one transition region and/or in at least one end profile region, at least one curved shaped region is provided. A radius of curvature is less than or equal to a material thickness of the sheet metal material in at least sections in at least one curved shaped region.
KIT FOR ERECTING A PLATFORM
A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.
MODIFIED LEDGER AND MODULAR SCAFFOLD SYSTEM WITH CONTINUOUS WORK SURFACE
A scaffold ledger providing a raised support surface of the elongate structural member with the opposed ledger heads being downwardly and outwardly offset. Each ledger head includes cover flaps that extend the raised support surface above the ledger heads in a cover position. The scaffold ledger cooperates with scaffold posts and scaffold planks to allow for a continuous work platform above an intermediate scaffold support post and/or across supporting ledgers.
