Assembly for accessing an electronic display
10584500 · 2020-03-10 ·

An assembly for installation, repair, or maintenance of balcony-mounted displays. The assembly may include a straddling component or frame, an anchoring assembly for selectively fixing one end of the straddling component in a desired location along the balcony, and a person-holding structure suspended from the balcony by another end of the straddling component. The straddling component may include forward vertical supports extending from the person-holding structure, horizontal supports attached to the forward vertical supports, and aftward vertical supports attached to the horizontal supports. Transport wheels may be rotatably attached to the aftward vertical supports, for rollable relocation of the platform relative to the balcony. The anchoring assembly may include both forward and aftward extension pieces attached to the aftward vertical supports and selectively adjusted to cooperatively fix the aftward vertical supports between a balcony wall and a heel-kick surface below the balcony seating.

A first scaffold plank member having a board like member having a top surface, first and second opposing end edges and a first and second opposing side edges; a first and second side rails, the side rail attached to the board like member near the respective side edges, each respective side rail extending downwardly from the top surface, each side rail having an inward and an outward facing surface, positioned near both the first and second opposing end edges, a first and second clips separated by a distance from one another, the first and second clips extending outwardly from the respective end edges, each clip having a terminating downwardly projecting lip, and a channel section located between the lip and the respective end edge, the channel section shaped to engage a horizontal scaffold member; a series of slots through the top surface, said series of slots positioned near the first side edge, each slot of said series of slots having a portion of the slot positioned inwardly of the inward facing surface, each slot being sized to accept a portion of a clip through the slot, two of said slots are separated a distance to accept two clips on a second scaffold board whereby, if a portion of a second scaffold plank's first and second clips are inserted through these slots, so that the second scaffold plank is supported by the first scaffold plank.

Lockable scaffold toeboard system

A scaffold toeboard system for locking a toeboard between two vertical scaffold members where each vertical scaffold member includes a tubular member having a diameter and an outer shape. The toeboard system includes a toeboard having an elongated member with a fixed terminating end and an adjustable terminating end. The toeboard further includes a front portion, a top portion, a bottom portion and a rear portion. The toeboard system further includes a locking mechanism slidably mounted to the adjustable terminating end, where the locking mechanism includes a lock member body with a front sidewall two fingers positioned on said locking mechanism and extending outwardly from the front sidewall of the locking member. The two fingers separated by a horizontal distance of about the diameter of a scaffold vertical member. The locking mechanism further includes a lock, where the lock is actuatable to fix the position of the lock member body with respect to the toeboard in a deployed position. The fixed terminating end is shaped to engage a scaffold vertical member.

Quad-chord truss and platform containing same

A foldable quad-chord truss which can be connected end-to-end with like trusses. Each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are swivelly attached to the chord pairs to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to connector members of beams which may extend perpendicular to a parallel pair of the trusses and attached thereto. The laid trusses and beams is overlaid with sheets of corrugated sheet metal which overlap each other along their adjacent edges. While standing on a sheet of laid sheet metal adjacent ends of an already laid pair of trusses, another truss can be held adjacent the edge of the sheet metal for attaching an end of the other truss along only one side so that it can then be swung outwardly into a position wherein the other end of the other truss can also be attached to rigidly connect the trusses end-to-end.

A modular platform system utilizing a number of components including a platform. The platform is configured so that each of the components may interchangeably connect to any side of the platform. The components include, for example, handrails and stairways, as well as other platforms. The platform and most of the components are formed from single, continuous pieces of metal.

Platform with a track for attaching decking

A platform and a kit therefor. The platform and the kit comprises quad-chord trusses attachable end-to-end and having connector members intermediate thereof, and further comprising beams attachable at their ends to the connector members so that a beam attaches two parallel trusses. A truss comprises first and second pairs of chords which are foldable for storage and transport and unfoldable to use for erection of the platform. A track lies between the upper chords to allow movement of bolts along the track into position to attach for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The kit also includes a sturdy and reliable and easy to use tie-up mechanism and railing along the platform perimeter which is quickly and easily attachable and reliable.
