STOCKER AND METHOD FOR FORMING WORK PLATFORM
A stocker includes a transporter that travels through a traveling space SP within a stocker and transports an article, a pair of rails that flank the traveling space extend in parallel or substantially in parallel in a horizontal direction, platforms movable along the pair of rails, and a housing provided on a stocker outer side of a door that separates an inside and an outside of the stocker, and that houses the platforms. The pair of rails extend from the inside of the stocker to the housing through an opening directly under the door. At least one of the platforms includes a fence in an upright standing manner and an upper end of the fence is higher than an upper end of the opening. The platform that includes the fence extends across the inside of the stocker and the outside of the stocker via the opening while the fence is arranged on a stocker inner side.
Safety screen and safety screen system
The present disclosure relates to a safety screen comprising: a plurality of screen members vertically arranged above one another; two longitudinal carriers pivotally connected to the screen members, wherein in a first operating position, the longitudinal carriers extend vertically and the screen members extend horizontally, and wherein in a second operating position, the longitudinal carriers are inclined sideward from vertical and the screen members extend horizontally, offset from one another horizontally.
Climbing shoe, safety screen support system and safety screen system
The present disclosure relates to a climbing shoe for a climbing safety screen, comprising: a support member for engaging a climbing rail of the climbing safety screen; a fork member with a first flange and a second flange; an outer member pivotally connected to the first flange and second flange about a transverse axis; an inner member mounted to the outer member and pivotable about a longitudinal axis with respect to the outer member.
Work Scaffold and Method
A work scaffold having a platform and leg assemblies rotatably attached to each end of the platform. The platform may have a handle connected to free end that extends out the sides of the platform, which engage with links attached to the leg assemblies and the platform to lock the scaffold in an open or closed position. The platform may have hooks that extend out beyond the ends of the platform from under the platform so a second work scaffold can be situated on the hooks. The platform may be formed of boards with holes that receive cross members. A method for using a work scaffold. A method for forming a work scaffold.
Anchoring device and method for installation
A system and method for creating an anchoring device that attaches between two nearby surfaces that may be oriented at different angles to each other about a vertical axis is described. The anchoring device includes a first and second support base that are fastened to a support surface, and a cross member that extends between the support bases and is pivotable about a vertical axis with respect to the support bases. The cross member may be adjustable in length. The anchoring device can be used to support an end of a plank to make a platform. The other end of the plank may be supported by a second anchoring device or another support surface.
MECHANICAL PROXIMITY SENSOR FOR A SLIDABLE EXTENSION OF A WORKER SUPPORT APPARATUS
Apparatus, devices, and methods relating to a mechanical proximity sensor for a slidable extension. An illustrative apparatus may comprise an elevated platform and an extension slidably extendable from the elevated platform toward a workpiece. The apparatus also may comprise a probe coupled movably to the extension. The apparatus further may comprise an indicator connected to the probe and configured to rotate from a first orientation to a second orientation in response to engagement between the probe and the workpiece as the extension approaches the workpiece. The indicator may be configured to complete rotation from the first orientation to the second orientation when a leading edge of the extension is located at a predetermined distance from the workpiece.
Interlocking Work Platform System and Method
A work platform system having a first work platform. The system having a first bracket attached to the first scaffold and extending below and outward beyond the first scaffold between the first rail and the second rail of the first leg assembly. The system having a second bracket attached to the first scaffold and extending below and outward beyond the first scaffold between the first rail and the second rail of the first leg assembly. The system having a second work platform. The first end of the second scaffold is disposed on the first bracket and the second bracket with the first bracket and the second bracket extending between the first rung of the third leg assembly and the second scaffold. A method for using a work platform system.
Scaffold extensions
An apparatus and method for manufacturing and using segmented and integrated solutions for scaffold extensions are disclosed. An example embodiment comprises: a standard scaffold support component including at least one post element; and a scaffold extension including a runner element and a bracing element coupled to the post element of the standard scaffold support component to produce a modified scaffold support component with a scaffold extension. The scaffold extension can be a one-sided scaffold extension or a two-sided scaffold extension. The scaffold extension can be coupled to the post element of the standard scaffold support component with a hinged and swingable coupling. The scaffold extension can be integrated into the post element of the standard scaffold support component. The scaffold extension can be integrated into a retrofit scaffold support component configured to be coupled to the standard scaffold support component.
TRIPLE PLANK PLATFORM
A telescoping work platform utilizing three planks that are slidable to each other allows for a longer maximum length for use while providing for a shorter collapsed length for storage all while providing necessary structural support. The two outer planks comprise prongs that slide within channels of the inner plank.
