Mobile platform carrying system
10287150 · 2019-05-14 ·

A mobile platform carrying system is configured to be adjusted to remain level. The mobile platform carrying system includes a chassis, attached to a front axle assembly and a rear axle assembly. The front axle assembly includes a front axle housing through which a front axle telescoping portion extends. A first front wheel housing is joined to the front axle telescoping portion, and a first front actuator. The first front actuator is adapted to adjust a front linear position of the first front wheel housing relative to the chassis. A first front wheel is joined to the first front wheel housing with a first front hinge. The rear axle assembly is similarly arranged.

Load carrying platform shuttle

The load carrying platform shuttle has a static frame that defines a cam surface. A carriage is arranged to telescope into the static frame. A ramp has an outboard edge rotatably connected to the carriage. A cam follower is disposed on the ramp so as to engage with the cam surface. The cam surface and the cam follower cooperate such that an inboard edge of the ramp is automatically maintained at an elevated height whilst the carriage is disposed intermediate of an extended position and a retracted position and such that the inboard edge of the ramp is automatically maintained at a lowered height whilst the carriage is at the retracted position. The static frame is constructed from I-beams that are reinforced to increase their resistance to the bending moment applied by the carriage whilst it is in the extended position.

Systems and methods for supporting an operator from a building
10238899 · 2019-03-26 ·

A suspension system for supporting an operator from a parapet of a building has first and second support assemblies adapted to engage the parapet, a first support line extending from the first support assembly to the first operator, and a second support line extending from the second support assembly to the first operator. At least one of the first and second support assemblies engages the parapet to support the operator relative to building. To allow the operator to move relative to the building, the weight of the operator is supported by one of the first and second support assemblies while the other of the first and second support assemblies is moved.

Personnel platform

A personnel platform facilitates maintenance on a loop sorter of a material handling system in a distribution center. The personnel platform includes wheeled axle assemblies, having left and right wheel hub assemblies connected by a lateral support structure, engaged for longitudinal travel to opposing wheel channels of a section bed of the loop sorter that guide a train of material handling carriages. The personnel platform also includes a carrier platform comprising multiple sub-platforms, such that each sub-platform is pivotally attached to an adjacent sub-platform. Further, the personnel platform includes a rail assembly having upright structures and side rail assemblies attached between an adjacent pair of upright structures. Further, the side rail assemblies extend and retract according to changing spacing between the adjacent upright structures as the personnel platform moves along a curved section.

System and method for spray painting external walls of building
10213801 · 2019-02-26 · ·

This solution is for painting the external walls of a building, and adopts a lightweight six axis robotic arm mounted on a mini-gondola hoisted by a pulley system with the controlling motor located within the mini-gondola, while another set of motor located on the pulley system at the roof-top end drives the mini-gondola to traverse laterally on a set of twin-rails on the roof-top of the building. Four vacuum suction cups mounted on the mini-gondola through linear actuator are used to secure the mini-gondola to the wall. Each linear actuator has three ultrasonic distance sensors that measure and manage the distance between the mini-gondola and the wall to be painted. Once the gondola is in position, the robotic arm will be activated to start the painting process.

WORK PLATFORM RAIL SYSTEM
20190048539 · 2019-02-14 · ·

A system and apparatus for constructing a work platform under a bridge deck that has a decking segment that moves under the bridge deck from one end to the other as work progresses, eliminating the need for constructing decking under the entire length of the bridge deck. The decking segment hangs from a plurality of trolleys that move along a plurality of rails beneath the bridge deck, the trolleys moving the decking segment from one end of the bridge deck to another. The trolley has at least one main wheel that runs on the tubular rail top and a plurality of side wheels that maintain the trolley on the tubular rail, the trolley smoothly moving along the tubular rail.

There is provided a gondola apparatus including: a horizontal front scaffold frame facing a back of a blade; first and second side scaffold frames each horizontally movably attached to the front scaffold frame; a stabilizing member attached over both sides of the front scaffold frame such that the stabilizing member is extendable and contractable, the stabilizing member abutting on an outer surface of a tower; a first lifting device provided to the front scaffold frame; second and third lifting devices attached to the first and second side scaffold frames, respectively, such that the second and third lifting devices are rockable; first and second drive devices provided to the front scaffold frame, the first and second drive devices being configured to horizontally drive the first and second side scaffold frames, respectively; and first, second, third traction ropes provided between the first, second, and third lifting devices, and an origin on a side of a nacelle, respectively.

Suspended scaffolding and suspending device therefore

A suspended scaffold comprises a work platform (6) and at least one suspending device (2) via which the work platform (6) is attachable to an object (1). The suspending device (2) comprises a claw device (3) intended and configured to engage optionally directly on the object (1), and a coupling device (4). The claw device (3) is adjustable relative to the coupling device (4) between a first position (21) and a second position (22). The second position (22) lies spatially offset relative to the first position (21).
