Remote controlled lift assembly
11377330 · 2022-07-05 ·

A remote controlled lift assembly includes a pair of supports is each mountable to a respective outrigger of scaffolding. A winch unit is positionable on the supports when the supports are mounted on the scaffolding and the winch unit has a cable extending downwardly therefrom. The cable is lowered or lifted when the winch is actuated. A receiver is coupled to the winch unit and the receiver is in electrical communication with the winch unit. A remote control is provided that is carried by a user and the remote control is in wireless electrical communication with the receiver. In this way the user can remotely lift and lower the cable for lifting and lowering cargo.

A scaffolding assembly adapted to be releasably attached to an elongate support member such as an overhead pipe. The scaffolding assembly has a split collar and a platform assembly adapted to be releasably attached to the split collar. The split collar comprises at least two segments which can encircle the pipe and be secured to one another. The platform assembly which includes a platform deck has a connector formation which extends laterally outwardly from the deck to an extent that it can engage a receiving formation on the collar assembly and thereby attach the platform assembly to the collar assembly.

Kit for erecting a platform

A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.

ELEVATED WALKWAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
20210095484 · 2021-04-01 ·

A walkway system includes brackets that are connectable to vertical frame members and supportable by horizontal frame members. Walkway support members include lips that engage with the brackets, horizontally-oriented portions that support a walkway member, and vertically-oriented portions that contact the building to stabilize the walkway member.

Adjustable suspension assembly

An adjustable suspension assembly for suspending a lower structure such as a platform from an upper structure such as a portion of a bridge. A sling, which is attachable at one end to the upper structure, is attached at its other end to one end of a chain. A device, which is attachable to the lower structure, has a pair of aligned apertures in its side walls for receiving pins. The pins are spaced to receive a thickness of a chain link but not to receive a width of the link, whereby a selected link to achieve a desired lower structure height may be cinched between the pins. The other end of the sling, which comprises a cable, has an eyelet formed by folding an end portion of the cable back over the cable and swaging the cable end portion to the cable. The chain is attached to said eyelet by receiving the end portion of the cable in one of the chain links before the cable end portion is swaged to the cable.

SUPPORTING FRAMEWORK
20210054638 · 2021-02-25 ·

The invention relates to a supporting framework having at least one suspension device for a diagonal cross brace that reinforces the supporting framework, wherein the suspension device has receiving fingers for openings provided on the ends of the diagonal cross brace, characterized in that two first receiving fingers of the suspension device each have a bent end portion, and second receiving fingers situated opposite from the first receiving fingers have a pivotable end portion.

Drywall lifting tool

The PB-DSR tool is a lightweight tool weighing approximately two pounds that construction workers who hang drywall (or plywood) can use to roll the heavy material from the ground to the workers on a scaffold instead of lifting it by himself using his back, arms and legs, which causes injuries. The worker on the ground stands the drywall or other material on end, leans it against the roller, and rolls it upwards to the person on the scaffold instead of lifting the drywall up to the worker on the scaffold. Currently, a drywaller on the ground physically lifts a 100+ pound sheet of drywall, plywood or other heavy materials upwards as much as 20 feet to the person on the scaffold, who then has to lift and/or pull the materials up onto the scaffold. Both people must use their arms, knees, shoulders and back to lift the heavy material, and the worker on the scaffold sometimes uses his foot to slide the material up onto the scaffold. The PB-DSR helps eliminate this unsafe lifting procedure by providing a rolling mechanism to roll the sheet of material instead of lifting it. This takes most of the weight of the heavy material off the workers, making it safer and easier, and possibly reducing arm, shoulder, back and foot injuries from manually lifting the heavy sheet of drywall. It is an inexpensive way for drywall and construction companies to more likely than not reduce the number of workplace injuries and worker's compensation claims.

Scaffold securing clip and strap
10865576 · 2020-12-15 ·

The scaffold securing clip and strap comprises a ratchet strap, a scaffolding jib and a bracket. The scaffold securing clip and strap is configured for use with a stanchion. The ratchet strap attaches the scaffolding jib to the stanchion. The bracket attaches the scaffolding jib to the stanchion. A first instantiation of the scaffold securing clip and strap works in conjunction with a second instantiation of the scaffold securing clip and strap to support one or more planks. Specifically, the scaffolding jib of the first instantiation and the scaffolding jib of the second instantiation combine to raise one or more planks to an elevation above a supporting surface of the stanchions to which the first instantiation and the second instantiation are attached. The elevated one or more planks form a raised horizontal surface capable of supporting a load.
