A system for releasably securing a platform in a raised position is disclosed. A track is provided. An arm is connected at a first end to the platform. A second end, with a lug, is biased toward a side portion of the track. The lug is configured to ride in the track. As the platform is raised, the lug rides upward and enters the top portion and clears a first vertical wall, whereupon the lug rests in the depression and thus supports the platform in the raised position. As the platform is raised further, the lug clears a second vertical wall, whereupon the lug can ride downward in the side portion and through a bottom portion, past a door and out an open end of the bottom portion.

The arrangement also utilizes angled members which are configured with a reinforced flange existing in a dimension that has higher load requirements than the other flange. A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.

A roller system including a top roller, a middle roller, a split lower roller and a split workbench roller configured for a pump jack arranged for travelling up and down a pole, wherein the top roller includes flanges at both ends of the roller; wherein the split lower roller includes a pair of facing lower rollers, each of the pair of facing lower rollers having an outward tapered flange; and wherein the split workbench roller includes a pair of facing workbench rollers, each of the pair of facing workbench rollers having an outward tapered flange.

A modular system for forming a floor or platform. The modular system may have vertical dividers for forming divided sections. Multiple horizontal sections are positioned in a side by side arrangement and connected with connectors to form the platform or floor in a desired shape and coverage. Vertical dividers inserted into the horizontal sections and retained in the horizontal sections provide separation of the modular system into compartments.

An element receptacle for providing a receptacle for a scaffolding element on a scaffolding element already positioned, the element receptacle comprising a receptacle which has a receptacle interface for receiving a scaffolding element which also has at least one joint region disposed adjacent to receiving interface, and which also has a clamping region disposed adjacent to the joint region on the side of the receptacle opposite the receptacle interface. The element receptacle also comprises a retainer which has an attaching element for attaching to a scaffolding element already positioned, and which also has at least one mating joint region. In the element receptacle, the joint region of the receptacle is inserted into the mating joint region of the retainer, or the mating joint region of the retainer is inserted into the joint region of the receptacle.

A scaffolding assembly adapted to be releasably attached to an elongate support member such as an overhead pipe. The scaffolding assembly has a split collar and a platform assembly adapted to be releasably attached to the split collar. The split collar comprises at least two segments which can encircle the pipe and be secured to one another. The platform assembly which includes a platform deck has a connector formation which extends laterally outwardly from the deck to an extent that it can engage a receiving formation on the collar assembly and thereby attach the platform assembly to the collar assembly.

A platform and a kit therefor. The platform and the kit comprises quad-chord trusses attachable end-to-end and having connector members intermediate thereof, and further comprising beams attachable at their ends to the connector members so that a beam attaches two parallel trusses. A truss comprises first and second pairs of chords which are foldable for storage and transport and unfoldable to use for erection of the platform. A track lies between the upper chords to allow movement of bolts along the track into position to attach for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The kit also includes a sturdy and reliable and easy to use tie-up mechanism and railing along the platform perimeter which is quickly and easily attachable and reliable.
