Hair care composition

This invention relates to a hair care composition more particularly to a wash-off composition, especially preferred being a shampoo or a conditioner, which provides the desired anti-dandruff efficacy with enhanced stability of the active materials on hair/scalp during use. This is achieved through a judicious combination of an organic UV filter, a zinc compound and selective anti-dandruff agent. The composition comprises 0.01 to 3% by weight zinc pyrithione, an organic UV filter and 0.1 to 5% by weight additional zinc compound. The weight ratio of zinc compound to zinc pyrithione is over 3:1.

This patent application refers to oral health composition and preparation process thereof, suitable for direct administration into the oral cavity by specialists or otherwise, wherein the formulations have a wide action spectrum due to self-activation and continuous formation of reactive oxygen, with no need for external activation by light, chemicals or electricity, except for air oxygen, said oral health compositions acting through the synergistic action of air oxygen with octa-carboxy or tetra-carboxy (metal-phthalocyanines) being functional dyes capable of promoting self-activation and continuous production of reactive oxygen in the presence of molecular oxygen in suitable, safe and effective amounts over odor-making substances, microorganisms and over coagulation/healing mechanisms, among other properties of interest for maintenance of oral health, which may be used directly by the patient or by a professional.

COMPOSITION FOR WOUND HEALING, CONTAINING METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORK

The present invention relates to: a composition for wound healing, containing a metal-organic framework (MOF)as an active ingredient; and a wound dressing material comprising a hydrophilic superabsorbent polymer and the MOF, and the composition and the wound dressing material have a wound healing ability, specifically, the excellent effect of healing a wound by promoting fibroblast movement, do not significantly differ from a control group with respect to cytotoxicity, thereby exhibiting excellent safety when applied to a wound site, and have the excellent effect of having a wound recovery rate high enough to be checked with the naked eye over time.

Viral infection of the oral mucosa (the lining of the oral cavity) is a common feature of many respiratory viruses that is central to pathogenesis and spread. Despite this, few anti-viral oral hygiene products exist. The present invention is a composition of a zinc salt and hinokitiol to be used as an anti-viral agent in oral care products. The composition is extremely low risk for adverse effects and irritation, and as such can be used continuously and frequently as both a preventative measure and a treatment. Oral care products in which this composition may be used include, but are not limited to toothpaste, mouth rinse and gargling solution. The composition inhibits viral replication in the oral cavity through interacting with the replication machinery of the viruses.
