The present invention relates to a liquid drop releasing cosmetic material, and particularly to a cosmetic material of releasing liquid drop by rubbing, which comprises: (a) a card house structure having a space formed with a plate-shaped substance therein; and (b) liquid drop contained in the space of the card house structure.

A liquid drop releasing cosmetic material according to the present invention has an excellent visual effect and feeling of use by releasing liquid drop due to rubbing during use and fundamentally solves side effect and antipathy of users due to silicone polymer because it is free from a silicone polymer, and has excellent stability in a cosmetic material of a drop releasing structure.

A composition comprising an amino acid and a bioactive glass, in which the bioactive glass comprises 15-55 wt. % SiO.sub.2, 20-60 wt. % CaO, 0.1-15 wt. % ZrO.sub.2, and 5-30 wt. % P.sub.2O.sub.5, in which, when the composition is subjected to artificial saliva at 37? C., a bioactive crystalline phase is formed within 7 days. In some aspects, the bioactive crystalline phase is apatite, and the composition is a dentifrice or skin care composition. Methods comprising making the composition, making the bioactive glass, and applying the composition to a tooth or the skin. In some aspects, applying the composition to a tooth remineralizes enamel of the tooth, treats caries of the tooth, and/or treats dentin hypersensitivity of the tooth, and applying the composition to skin treats or reduces the appearance of one or more skin defects, such as wrinkles and blemishes.

A dentifrice composition containing an abrasive and a stannous ion source. The abrasive can contain precipitated silica particles where the extractable stannous ions after 30 days at 40 C. is greater than about 75% of the initial extractable stannous ion concentration.

The problem addressed by the invention is that of producing aerogels which have as high and permanent a hydrophobicity as possible and which have a reduced combustibility, that is as low a carbon content as possible, and are simultaneously less rigid and brittle than known systems, i.e. which with reduced combustibility have a high flexibility and high stability at the same time, that is high mechanical load-bearing capacity. Said problem is solved in that the invention provides gels chosen from lyogel or aerogel, which are synthesised from oxide units and [R.sub.xSiO.sub.(4-x)/2] units, wherein the primary particles have a change of concentration in [R.sub.xSiO.sub.(4-x)/2] units from the inside to the outside, wherein x can be the same or different and is 1 or 2, and R can be the same or different and is hydrogen or an organic substituted or unsubstituted radical, and wherein the oxide units contain [SiO.sub.4/2] units, and a method for producing same. The gels provided can be used in cosmetic, medical or for chromatographic applications, and as a catalyst or catalyst support. If the gels are aerogels, same are preferably used for thermal and/or acoustic insulation.

The present invention relates to an assembly for making up a keratin material, in particular the nails, the lips, the eyelids, the eyelashes, the eyebrows or the contour of the eyes, comprising at least: a first composition intended to be applied to the keratin material, the first composition being a composition that is capable of forming a reflective coat, a second composition intended to be applied onto the first composition, said second composition being a translucent and coloured composition.
