The seal includes a sleeve, a sealing element and a sliding tube, which are disposed on the tie rod and, together with the tie rod, are placed through the panel formwork element from a rear side, so that the sealing element exits the panel formwork element on a front side and, after brief pulling back of the tie rod, provides sealing between the sleeve and the panel formwork element, for one-sided anchoring.

The spherical portion of the nut and the spherical-shaped central section of the dome plate are coupled like a ball and socket joint. The rear anchor assembly also includes a support plate configured for being fixed to a rear formwork panel, the support plate including a housing in which the dome plate is arranged, the dome plate having freedom of radial movement with respect to the support plate inside the housing.

A closed wall hold down system is provided including at least one closed wall panel, at least one first tie rod, at least one second tie rod, at least one coupler nut, and at least one ratcheting take-up device. The at least one closed wall panel includes a bottom plate and a top plate. The at least one first tie rod projects through the bottom plate. The at least one coupler nut is coupled to the at least one first tie rod and to a first end of the at least one second tie rod. A second end of the at least one second tie rod extends through the top plate. The at least one ratcheting take-up device engages the second end of the at least one second tie rod. A method of installing the closed wall hold down system is also provided.

Telescoping sleeve assembly with locking components

A sleeve assembly is provided comprising an inner tubular member and at least one outer sleeve that receives at least a portion of the inner tubular member. The outer sleeve may longitudinally telescope with the inner tubular member to move between a non-expanded position and at least one expanded position. In some embodiments, the inner tubular member comprises a first locking component and the at least one outer sleeve comprises a second locking component that interlocks with the first locking component to secure the outer sleeve in the non-expanded position and/or at least one expanded position. Related methods for making a sleeve assembly are also provided.

Foundation waterproofing and insulation form system and method

Systems and methods for making a waterproofed concrete wall assembly, such as for a basement wall. A form is constructed. At least a first side of the form is made of one or more boards having a polymer foam and a fibrous facer. At least some of the boards have perimeter edges shaped such that some adjacent boards overlap at the shaped perimeter edges. Concrete is poured into the gap between the sides of the form, and is allowed to harden. The other side of the form may be removed, while leaving the boards of the first side of the form in place adjacent the hardened concrete. Some of the concrete is infused into the fibrous facers of at least some of the boards.
