In some embodiments, the repair compound is configured to exhibit pseudoplastic-type behavior. In some embodiments, the repair compound has a density of not greater than 4.0 lbs/gal. In some embodiments, the repair compound includes hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers of different morphologies. In some embodiments, the repair compound includes HASE-type thickeners. In some embodiments, the repair compound includes a bimodal distribution of hollow glass microspheres from two different strength/size curves.
REPAIR APPARATUS FOR MATERIAL GUIDE
A repair apparatus is configured to repair a hole in a curved wall portion of a material guide. The repair apparatus includes a patch body that can conform to the shape of the curved wall portion and a retainer that non-destructively holds the patch body in place on the wall portion over the hole. In certain embodiments, the retainers are magnets or straps. The patch body can be flexible so that it can be adjusted to conform to the shape of curved wall portions of various sizes and curvatures. The patch body can include a wear-resistant inner surface. In some embodiments, the patch body includes an outer shell and a wear-resistant inner liner connected to the shell. The liner can have one side that is unattached to the shell.
Device for repairing damage to the bottom of a container filled with water
A device for repairing damage to a bottom of a container filled with water is disclosed. The device comprises a guiding device, which can be placed on the bottom of the container and which has a centering device for centering the guiding device between wall sections of the bottom elements. The devices further comprises a fixing device for fixing the guiding device on the bottom of the container, a carrier, which can be guided along the guiding device and on which at least one pivot arm is arranged, and an accommodating element arranged at a free end of the pivot arm, for accommodating adhesive, with which part of a wall section of the bottom elements can be covered.
Load-carrying concrete floor structure and method for building the load-carrying concrete floor structure
A construction process for enhancing or repairing a concrete floor structure that includes a carbon fiber grid as a reinforcement component is disclosed. The process includes forming a trench at a top surface of the concrete floor structure, and placing a reinforcement material in the formed trench. Then, a concrete bonding agent is applied into the trench. Then, the trench is filled with concrete. As a result, the concrete floor structure is enhanced or repaired to have at least one additional reinforcement component other than the carbon fiber grid.
Layered apparatus and method
Aspects of the disclosure are directed to apparatuses and/or methods involving stacked layers of material. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more aspects characterized herein, an apparatus includes a base layer of material with upper and lower surfaces, and stacked layers of material on the base layer. The stacked layers include a first layer stacked on the upper surface of the base layer, and further layers stacked on and adhered to one of the other stacked layers. At least one of the stacked layers has a lower surface area that is larger than a lower surface area of one of the stacked layers on which it is stacked, with an adhesive on an exposed portion thereof.
EXTERIOR WALL REPAIR DEVICE AND EXTERIOR WALL REPAIR METHOD
An exterior wall repair device includes a travel path body, a carriage having a traveling part capable of traveling on the travel path body and winch devices, a repair device main body having a gondola suspended and moved up and down by the winch devices, a manipulator arranged in the gondola and performing repair work, a shooting part capable of shooting images of the state of working by the manipulator, a vacuum device for detachably fixing the gondola to an exterior wall surface, and a belt having both end portions fixed to attaching/detaching means of the fixing device and wound around a drive part of the manipulator, and a remote control part having a monitor on which an operator can see an image from the shooting part and operation gloves operated by the operator and capable of remotely operating the manipulator in synchronization with the manipulator.

LIGHTWEIGHT WALL REPAIR COMPOUNDS
Herein are disclosed wall repair compounds comprising at least one or more polymeric binder latex emulsions, one or more inorganic fillers, and comprising an amount of organic polymeric thickener that is less than about 0.1 percent by weight based on the total weight of the wall repair compound. In certain embodiments, the wall repair compound comprises an inorganic filler system selected such that such that synthetic inorganic fillers comprise essentially 100 percent of the inorganic filler used. In certain embodiments, the wall repair compound comprises one or more glycol ether smoothing agents.
Methods and apparatus for restoring, repairing, reinforcing and/or protecting structures using concrete
Methods are provided for repairing an existing structure to cover at least a portion of the existing structure with a repair structure. Such methods comprise mounting one or more standoff retainers to the existing structure; coupling one or more standoffs to the standoff retainers such that the standoffs extend away from the existing structure; coupling one or more cladding panels to the standoffs such that the panels are spaced apart from the structure to provide a space therebetween; and introducing a curable material to the space between the panels and the existing structure, the panels acting as at least a portion of a formwork for containing the curable material until the curable material cures to provide a repair structure cladded, at least in part, by the panels. Corresponding apparatus for effecting such methods are also provided.
GAP CAULKING DEVICE AND A CAULKING METHOD
A gap caulking device and a caulking method are provided, wherein the gap caulking device includes long plates, short plates, a dial plate, a three-way joint, a tensioner and a limit rod, and a closed quadrilateral structure with an adjustable angle is formed by two long plates hinged to each other and two short plates hinged to each other, a dial plate and a pointer are respectively provided on the two short plates, damping rods hinged on the two short plates to each other and a three-way joint matched with the two long plates are passed through by a limit rod to achieve connection limiting, and a shape memory alloy wire is connected to the three-way joint by a tensioner and is parallel to the limit rod. The problem is overcome that the original traditional wedge-shaped material that gaps rely on has a single filling function.
