Swimming Pool with Composite Wall

A swimming pool wall, and method for forming same, including a plurality of layers of reinforced composite material. Each layer includes a thermoplastic resin and a plurality of elongate glass strands of reinforcing material. A first set of the plurality of layers has the strands miming in a first direction, and a second set of the plurality of layers has the strands miming in a second direction. The first direction is offset in angle from the second direction, and the first and second set of layers are fused together to form a unitary composite wall. The principles of hoop strength applicable to the swimming pool wall also apply to other cylindrical structures needing hoop strength arising from pressures inside or outside the cylindrical structure. The wall structure may be a plurality of interconnected panels both arcuate and arcuate and planar in shape to determine the overall shape of the composite wall enclosing an area where water or ice is retained.

Above ground pool

The present invention provides a above ground pool, comprising a flexible pool body. The flexible pool body comprises: a polygonal bottom sheet that comprises a plurality of edge portions; and a plurality of side sheets, each side sheet comprising a pool sidewall portion and a pool bottom portion, and each of the pool sidewall portions and each of the pool bottom portions being in the shape of an isosceles trapezoid. Each of pool sidewall portion comprises a first upper-base portion, a first lower-base portion and a first middle portion defined between the first upper-base portion and the first lower-base portion, and each of the pool bottom portion comprises a second upper-base portion, a second lower-base portion and a second middle portion defined between the second upper-base portion and the second lower-base portion. The first lower-base portion and the second lower-base portion coincide to define a junction of the pool sidewall portion and pool bottom portion. The first middle portions of the side sheets are successively connected to form a side wall of the above ground pool and the second middle portions are successively connected to form an outer ring of the bottom of the above ground pool. The second upper-base portions of the pool bottom portions are respectively connected to the edge portions of the bottom sheet. In the above ground pool of the present invention, joints are moved to a side wall of the swimming pool or the bottom of the swimming pool as much as possible, thereby reducing the length of joints passing through a heavily stressed area to the greatest extent, simplifying production processes, reducing costs, and reducing the probability of water leakage from the above ground pool.

Pool apparatus

A pool apparatus configured to carry liquids has a side wall and a bottom surface. The side wall has a plurality of structure drawstrings, an outer side wall, and an inner side wall. Two sides of the structure drawstrings draw respectively the outer side wall and the inner side wall, so as to maintain a predetermined shape of the pool apparatus. The structure drawstrings include a main drawstring portions and at least two branch drawstring portions. The main drawstring portions have a first main string side configured to connect a first branch drawstring side of the at least two branch drawstrings. A second branch string side of the at least two branch drawstrings connects respectively to different positions of the outer side wall and the inner side wall.

PREFABRICATED SELF-SUPPORTING MODULE FOR MAKING BUILDING STRUCTURES, MORE PARTICULARLY SWIMMING POOLS

A prefabricated self-supporting module for making building structures, more particularly swimming pools, is provided. The module comprises a matrix made of foamed material and a supporting structure made of metal coupled to the matrix. The supporting structure made of metal may be embedded in the matrix made of foamed material (internal supporting structure) and/or cover the matrix made of foamed material (external supporting structure). Thanks to the provision of the supporting structure made of metal, the module is self-supporting, and it does not need any further reinforcements of reinforced concrete. Thanks to the provision of the supporting structure made of metal, the module can be used for making structural supporting elements such as floors, side walls, and so on. This module can be completely made and finished in the factory, so that the steps to be carried out on the construction site are extremely limited, with consequent economic saving.

MODULAR POOL

An above-ground modular pool which is unsupported by an embankment has a plurality of interconnected and inflatable water-exposed units entirely made of reinforced composite polymeric material, and a plurality of floor panels each of which is connected to one or more of the water-exposed units, such that each of the plurality of water-exposed units is of sufficient structural strength to withstand the hydraulic pressure applied thereto by a body of water received in the pool.

Joint for swimming pool and swimming pool

A joint for a swimming pool frame, and a swimming pool including the joint are provided. The joint includes a joint body including a leg pipe holder configured to have a leg pipe of the swimming pool frame inserted into the leg pipe holder. The joint also includes a side pipe holder configured to have a side pipe of the swimming pool frame inserted in the side pipe holder. A locking hole is formed through the side pipe holder. The joint body also includes a locking part including a locking pin configured to extend through the locking hole and through a corresponding connecting hole in the side pipe, thereby holding the side pipe to the side pipe holder.

Systems and methods for a container with portholes

Disclosed is a container, such as an above-ground pool, with an improved porthole. The container can include a base, a side wall joined to the base, and at least one porthole. The porthole can comprise an aperture in the side wall and a generally transparent window sheet attached to the side wall and completely covering the aperture in the side wall. Such a design can be stronger and more durable than conventional portholes. The pool can also have portability and storability characteristics that are superior to those of conventional pools.
