COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTION OR IMPROVEMENT OF INFLAMMATORY SKIN DISEASES COMPRISING STRAIN OF GENUS CUTIBACTERIUM
The present application relates to a use of a strain of the genus Cutibacterium, a culture of the strain, or a combination thereof for prevention, amelioration, and/or treatment of inflammatory skin diseases. A composition comprising a strain of the genus Cutibacterium, a culture of the strain, or a combination thereof does not show cytotoxicity, inhibits proliferation of immune cells that cause skin inflammation, suppresses immune responses, has an antibacterial effect against acne-causing bacteria, and promotes regeneration of skin cells, thereby exhibiting excellent preventive, ameliorating, and/or therapeutic effects of inflammatory skin diseases.
USE OF EXOSOMES TO PROMOTE OR ENHANCE HAIR GROWTH
We describe the use of an exosome for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition to promote or enhance would healing or hair growth, or both, in an individual. The exosome may be derived from a stem cell such as a mesenchymal stem cell (MSC).
Polypeptides With Lipase Activity and Polynucleotides Encoding Same
Provided are isolated polypeptides with lipase activity. Also provided are polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides; nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides; compositions comprising the polynucleotides and methods of using the polypeptides or the compositions.
Cell penetrating peptide, conjugate comprising same, and composition comprising conjugate
The present invention relates to a conjugate of cell penetrating peptide and an active ingredient; and its use. Specifically, a conjugate including a cell penetrating peptide which is a peptide comprising any one amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 6, a fragment of any one sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 6, or a peptide having above 80% homology with the above-mentioned sequence; and a composition comprising the same are disclosed.
FUSION PROTEINS OF COLLAGEN-BINDING DOMAIN AND PARATHYROID HORMONE
Fusion proteins containing active agonist or antagonist fragments of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTHrP) coupled to a collagen-binding domain are presented. The fusion proteins can be used to promote bone growth, to promote hair growth, to prevent cancer metastasis to bone, to promote immune reconstitution with a bone marrow stem cell transplant, to promote mobilization of bone marrow stem cells for collection for autologous stem cell transplant, and to treat renal osteodystrophy. Pharmaceutical agents comprising a collagen-binding polypeptide segment linked to a non-peptidyl PTH/PTHrP receptor agonist or antagonist are also presented.
BIOACTIVE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND USE
A method for preparing a bioactive composition containing conditioned cell culture medium is disclosed. The method comprises culturing cells of two or more eukaryotic cell line to form conditioned culture media, separating the cultured cells from the conditioned culture media, and combining conditioned culture media to form a bioactive composition. Novel bioactive compositions, formulations and their use in treating of a variety of diseases and health conditions are also disclosed.
CONDITIONED CELL CULTURE MEDIUM COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
Novel products comprising conditioned cell culture medium compositions and methods of use are described. The conditioned cell medium compositions of the invention may be comprised of any known defined or undefined medium and may be conditioned using any eukaryotic cell type. Once the cell medium of the invention is conditioned, it may be used in any state. Physical embodiments of the conditioned medium include, but are not limited to, liquid or solid, frozen, lyophilized or dried into a powder. Additionally, the medium is formulated with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier as a vehicle for internal administration, applied directly to a food item or product, or formulated with a salve or ointment for topical applications. Also, the medium may be further processed to concentrate or reduce one or more factors or components contained within the medium.
Novel Recombinant Collagen Polypeptides and Molecules
The present invention relates to novel recombinant collagen polypeptides and collagen molecules, polynucleotides encoding the same, methods for preparing them, and compositions and uses thereof. The novel recombinant collagen polypeptides or collagen molecules may be used in cosmetic, personal care, nutraceutical and biomedical applications on account of their multiple benefits for skin, including preventative anti-aging, curative anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-pigmentation, moisturising, anti-wrinkle and elasticity-promoting activities.
Skin treatment formulations
Dermal treatment compositions include medium recovered from an adipose-derived stem cell culture where the medium is collected under defined conditions. The medium includes growth factors and other materials that, when transported to living portions of the skin, improve the condition of damaged or aged skin. The compositions include combinations of transport ingredients in controlled proportions for effective topical application.
