Reinforcing of Solid Round Legs in Telecom Towers
20230139715 · 2023-05-04 ·

A method of reinforcing the solid round leg in existing telecom towers (Guyed & Self-Support), it increases the leg resistance in compression (bearing load) over 50%. This type of reinforcing uses the principal and definition of axial force in truss structure by keeping the center of gravity of the new reinforcing members in the same location of the existing solid round leg. This type of reinforcing uses the existing splice pads as a foundation and a platform to build the new reinforcing structure on it. The new reinforcing structure is a replacement of the existing bolting system with new threaded bars and couplers with high strength. The addition of the new threaded bars benefits the overstressed leg, by adding more cross-sectional area to the original solid round leg section.

Fence post sleeve assembly

A fence post sleeve assembly for facilitating a fence post to easily be removed or replaced includes a post guide which includes a first half that is coupled to a second half. The post guide defines a sleeve to insertably receive a fence post. Furthermore, the post guide is comprised of a rigid material thereby facilitating the post guide to be buried in a post hole without collapsing. In this way the fence post can be inserted or removed from the post hole. A base is attached to the post guide to inhibit the fence post from passing through the sleeve defined by the first half and the second half.

A post cover that is formed from a plurality of separate pieces that are joined together by fastenings to make the cover where each piece is formed with a facing surface, the facing surface has a plurality of outer edges, and one or more peripheral flanges depend from one or more of the outer edges.

Pole shield

The present disclosure relates to a pole shield for extending around a pole structure. The pole shield comprises one or more than one sheet of composite material forming a hollow structure having an open first end and an opposed open second end. The sheet or sheets of composite material comprise from about 50% to about 80% by weight of a reinforcement impregnated with about 20% to about 50% of a polyurethane resin composition comprising a combination of a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component. Two or more pole shields may be stacked one on top of the other to form a pole shield structure which extends the height of protection of the pole structure. The pole shield can be used for protecting a pole structure from damage, such as from fire, rain, wind, sand, ice, pests, moisture or electrical. The pole shield may also be used to provide structural support to a pole structure.

POST REPAIR KIT AND METHOD OF REPARATION

Disclosed herein is a post repair kit comprising a stake defined by a body, proximal end, and a tapered anchor end. The post repair kit comprises a hammer mechanism comprising a power portion and a reciprocating ram structure, the power portion forcibly driving the reciprocating ram structure in a reciprocating motion. The reciprocating ram structure comprises a rod structure having a proximal end coupled with the power portion. The reciprocating ram structure further comprises an offset member connected to a distal end of the rod structure. The offset member has a first hole and a second hole. The distal end of the rod structure is connected to the first hole, wherein the offset member and the rod structure are connected perpendicular to each other. The reciprocating ram structure further comprises an interchangeable adaptor end tool detachably connected to the offset member using a fastening mechanism at the second hole.

APPARATUSES AND SYSTEMS FOR BRACING VERTICAL STRUCTURES

A pole reinforcement truss is disclosed. The truss can be configured to attach to a pole in a longitudinal direction of the pole. The truss can include an elongate body having a pair of opposite ends connected by a pair of longitudinal edges, a first side portion including one of the longitudinal edges, a second side portion including the other of the longitudinal edges, and a center portion connecting the first side portion and the second side portion. The first side portion can include a first substantially straight section and a second substantially straight section separated by a first bend having a first angle that is greater than 45 degrees, and the second side portion can include a third substantially straight section and a fourth substantially straight section separated by a second bend having a second angle that is greater than 45 degrees.

A system for providing sturdiness to a support post, that includes a stake that is configured to be inserted into the ground such that it is positioned parallel to a support post that is perpendicular to the ground and an insertion-assistance member that is configured to be removably attached to the stake. The insertion-assistance member includes a body, and a lip that extends in a direction that is perpendicular to the body such that a portion of the lip extends beyond the body in the direction that is perpendicular to the body. The lip is configured to receive force and then transmit the force to the stake to drive the stake into the ground. After driving the stake into the ground, the insertion-assistance member is configured to be removed from the stake and the stake is then secured to the support post to provide sturdiness to the support post.

POST SLEEVE ASSEMBLY
20220098892 · 2022-03-31 ·

A post sleeve includes a reinforced concrete body preformed around a liner that defines a cavity extending longitudinally within the body, sized to receive a post. Standoff ribs run lengthwise within the cavity and extend inward from inner walls of the cavity. A post in the cavity is supported laterally by the standoff ribs. Drain channels between the ribs permit water to flow past the post and exit the cavity via a lower aperture. A drain tube is coupled to the lower aperture, and extends downward where it is covered with gravel at the bottom of a post hole. Concrete is poured around the post sleeve in the hole. The cavity is adaptable to receive posts of varying sizes, and at various depths. A collar closes a space between the post and the top of the cavity, permitting air circulation within the cavity while shedding water and substantially preventing insects from entering the cavity.
