Physical exercise training techniques
A swimming pool cover assembly including a frame, at least one cover, and an adjustment means. The frame including at least one inflatable portion and an interconnected three-dimensional (3D) lattice of inflatable straight tubes. The at least one cover is supported by the frame to define an exercise chamber including at least part of a swimming pool. The adjustment means reduces an oxygen content of air in the exercise chamber compared with air external the exercise chamber. The exercise chamber has elongate sidewalls.
STRUCTURE WITH SUPPORTING INFLATABLE BEAM MEMBERS, AND METHOD FOR CONTAINING AND RECOVERING HYDROCARBONS OR TOXIC FLUIDS LEAKING FROM A COMPROMISED SUB-SEA STRUCTURE
A resiliently deformable containment structure having an open bottom end and a raised center portion. A central hub, situated centrally in a textile containment sheet, is provided. A plurality of elongate inflatable beam members are arranged circumferentially around the central hub, each extending radially outwardly and in a downwardly-extending manner therefrom and each underlying or overlying the textile containment sheet to support, when inflated, the textile containment sheet in a downwardly-extending shape to form an enclosure having an open bottom end. Distal ends of the inflatable beam members are tethered to one or more anchor members situated below the open bottom end of the dome structure. The structure is suited for placement above and over a compromised sub-sea structure for collecting and recovering to surface fluids which may be leaking therefrom. A method for containing and recovering such fluids from a compromised sub-sea structure is further disclosed.
Refuge Shelter, Coupling and Method
A refuge shelter includes a container. The shelter includes a tent that is disposed in the container in an undeployed state. The tent includes an inflatable support structure which is inflatable from an undeployed state in the container to a deployed state, and a seal which seals the tent to the container in a deployed state. The support structure has a plurality of hoses interconnected by couplers. The hoses have an inside diameter of less than 5 inches. A gas flow apparatus. A refuge shelter for miners in a mine includes a container and a tent that is disposed in the container. The tent has a test support to which a sample of the external environment can be obtained from inside the tent when the tent is deployed. A method for providing a refuge chamber for miners in a mine.
INFLATABLE CAB FOR WALK-BEHIND DEVICE
A protective enclosure or cab for an operator of a walk-behind or mechanical device, such as a snow blower, engine-driven snow thrower, ride-on tractor, or the like, is provided. The protective enclosure or cab includes an inflatable frame structure which supports a plurality of transparent, flexible windows or a single sheet of transparent material such as a curtain. When inflated, the protective cab is detachably coupled to the walk-behind or mechanical device and surrounds an operator of the walk-behind or mechanical device protecting the operator from the environment such wind, rain, snow or the like, while providing an unobstructed view of the surrouding environment. When deflated, the protective enclosure or cab can be folded into a small volume to be placed in a storage device which can be coupled to the walk-behind or mechanical device.
Structures and methods of erecting the same
A structure that includes strut tubes that receive and hold within them a granular material—soil, sand, gravel, regolith, or plastic pellets—to which compression is applied after loading. By this means the struts are stiffened to facilitate its use as a durable shelter. The structure is erected by inflating the strut tubes with a fluid which is then displaced with the granular material before compression is applied.
Emergency shelter for at least one person, method for converting this from a folded position to a deployed position, and module of such shelters
Provided is an emergency shelter that is able to occupy a first, folded position for storage and transport and a second deployed position that is suitable for sheltering at least one person, a method for reversibly converting the shelter from this first position to this second position, and a module of contiguous shelters of this kind. The emergency shelter includes an inflatable tent and a retention device in the form of a column that is preassembled with the inflated tent in said second position. The column is suitable for inflating the tent and holding it deployed around the former in said second position.
INFLATABLE PROTECTIVE RESTING ASSEMBLY
An inflatable protective resting assembly for enclosing a child while the child is outdoors includes an inflatable enclosure that is inflatable to define an enclosed resting area for a child. A plurality of screens is each removably attachable to the inflatable enclosure to protect the child from insects and reduce exposure to sunlight. A socket is provided and the socket is coupled to the inflatable enclosure. A plurality of accessory units is each removably attachable to the socket to enhance safety and security of the child when the child is positioned in the enclosed resting area defined by the inflatable enclosure.
Rooftop tent and receiving apparatus thereof
A rooftop tent includes a frame and a canopy, a first inlet is provided on the frame, and a side of the canopy is provided with an entrance; and a baseboard, which is inflatable and a second inlet in provided on a side of the baseboard. The frame is inflatable and air is inflated into the frame by the first inlet, such that the canopy is supported. A second inlet is located on the side of the baseboard, and the air is inflated into the baseboard through the second inlet, such that the baseboard is unfolded into a panel, which is used to support and carry the tent body. A receiving apparatus of the rooftop tent is also provided.
Inflatable drive through tunnel system
An inflatable drive through tunnel system comprised of an inflatable main tunnel and an inflatable positive pressure booth area for performing simple medical diagnostic tests or the like. A patient can drive into the inflatable tunnel. Medical personnel can take samples from patients who remain in their vehicles. The medical personnel can then store the samples in the positive pressure booth area. The positive pressure ensures that outside contaminants are not brought into the booth through the air when the personnel enter and leave the booth.
Method and product to prevent flooding of a motor vehicle in high water
An inflatable housing structure forms an airtight enclosure for a motor vehicle positioned inside the housing. This airtight enclosure prevents water from entering and thereby prevents the water from accessing the vehicle. The housing comprises sides, a top and floor made of flexible waterproof material such as plastic or vinyl. Air tubes attached to the surfaces of the housing, inflate to form and sustain a housing structure. The air tubes for supporting the housing structure can be outside or inside the structure when formed. These air tubes can also be embedded into the surfaces of the housing.
