QUICK INSTALL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DOOR LOCKS
The present disclosure is directed to a lock assembly comprising an inner housing positionable on one side of a movable structure such as a door and an outer housing positionable on an opposing side of the structure. A pocket connection region having an aperture formed through a wall of the inner housing is configured to receive a head of a fastener therethrough. After the fastener extends through the aperture, a clamp device may be moved from an open position to a closed position so as to releasably lock the fastener to the pocket connection region of the inner housing. In another form, a retainer is configured to hold the fastener with respect to the inner housing during installation of the lock assembly. In this manner an inner housing may be quickly connected to an outer housing when installing a lock assembly to the structure.
A DOUBLE CYLINDER DEADBOLT LOCK ARRANGEMENT AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF AND A METHOD OF DOOR INSTALLATION OF SAID DOUBLE CYLINDER DEADBOLT LOCK ARRANGEMENT
A double cylinder deadlock lock arrangement including a deadlock control tab slidably supported within an internal housing block such that a segment of said deadlock control tab is extendible out from a peripheral edge of the internal housing block to allow for a user operable engagement with said deadlock control tab, wherein slidable retraction of the extended segment of said deadlock control tab by a user at least substantially into the internal housing block subsequently permits operable rotation of an internal rotatable operable cylinder and/or the external key cylinder when a key is received within the slot of an external key cylinder to move the arrangement from a deadlock lock unlocked position to a deadlock lock locked position.
Locking device for a door or flap
A locking device for a door or flap having a cylinder lock that has a cylinder bush and a cylinder core rotatably supported in the cylinder bush. A bearing bracket is fastenable to the door or flap and has a receptacle for the cylinder lock. A screw is also provided that establishes a mechanical connection of the cylinder bush to a trim element for the door or flap. The screw interacts with a threaded hole of a bow element in order to move the bow element. The cylinder bush has a radial recess, which forms a pressure tip at the end of the screw facing the cylinder bush, which pressure tip, while inserted in the radial recess, interacts with the pressure surface in order to axially and radially support the screw.
Window/Door Securing Device
A window/door securing device for securing a leaf, in particular an outwardly opening leaf, of a window or door in a closed position in which the leaf contacts a frame of the window or door comprises a base body and a counter-piece that is selectively latchable to the base body so that on a fastening of the base body to the frame and of the counter-piece to the leaf, the leaf can be secured in the closed position by latching the counter-piece to the base body. The base body has two installation surfaces so that one of the installation surfaces of the base body can be selectively placed on and fastened to the frame. In this respect, two installation surfaces are aligned perpendicular to one another.
Door handle adapter with hidden fastener
A door handle may be mounted to a door with concealed fasteners. The fasteners do not engage the door itself, but rather engage a top plate that is mounted to the door. The fasteners are inserted into a hidden portion of the door handle and generate an opposing force as they press against a bulging portion of the top plate to produce a force that retains the door handle in place. The force generated also urges the door handle into a bottom plate on an opposing side of the door handle. The bottom plate includes a first and second planar section. The second planar section of the bottom plate is received into a receiving slot of the door handle. As a result, the door handle is retained on the door without any visible fasteners.
ADJUSTABLE MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR A DOOR LOCK
A mounting system for a door lock is provided. The mounting system may include a chassis having a pocket and an attachment bracket. The attachment bracket may include at least one attachment post extending parallel to an attachment post axis and a retaining plate affixed to the at least one attachment post. The attachment bracket may move relative to the chassis between at least a first position and a second position to provide different mounting patterns for a variety of associated door lock components such as exit devices or trims.
INTERFACE MODULE DEVICE OF DIGITAL DOOR LOCK
A digital door lock, and more particularly, an interface module device of a digital door lock is provided, which is capable of adjusting and aligning a position of a fastening bolt of the digital door lock so as to match fastening positions of a variety of locking devices while using a previously-installed locking device as it is. Accordingly, an interface module device for a door lock is provided, which includes a bracket, an interface bracket fastened with the bracket, and an interval alignment disposed between the bracket and the interface bracket to adjust an interval between fastening nuts inserted into fastening holes of the locking device.
Door lock with easy-to-install and remove input interface module
A lock device includes a latch and inner and outer operating devices disposed on two sides of the latch device. The inner operating device includes a main board configured to control the outer operating device to or not to move a latch between the latching position and the unlatching position. The outer operating device includes a removable input interface module electrically connectable with the main board. The input interface module is configured to permit input of an unlocking identification information or an unlocking command by a physical or wireless measure.
Concealed Screw Handleset
An improved concealed screw handleset for a door is described. The handleset assembly has a handleset, a mounting plate, and a face plate. The handleset and mounting plate are fastened together on opposite sides of the door via one or more assembly screws. The assembly screws are inserted from the mounting plate side of the door and are not visible from the handleset side of the door. The faceplate mounts on the mounting plate via two threaded collars. The faceplate completely covers the mounting plate and the assembly screws. In this manner, the handleset assembly provides a concealed screw design that is very easy to assemble and install. In other aspects, the mounting plate has a rotatable stem for mounting a turn-piece. The stem has one or more catches to hold the turn-piece in different positions.
