An exemplary electric strike includes a housing and a keeper pivotally mounted in the housing. The strike also includes a plunger having an extended position and a retracted position, a cage including an aperture, and a locking element movably seated in the aperture. The locking element is engaged with the plunger, and the plunger is structured to urge the locking element radially outward as the plunger moves from an extended position toward a retracted position. The strike also includes a sleeve, a transmission engaged with the sleeve, and a motor drivingly coupled to the transmission. The sleeve is structured to selectively prevent radially outward movement of the locking element and retraction of the plunger. The strike also includes at least one of a lost motion connection and an anti-tamper mechanism.

Safety locking device

The present invention relates to a safety locking device for interlocking a safety door, having a movable part designed for being fastened to a moving part of the safety door and having a locking element, and a stationary part designed for being fastened to a non-moving part of the safety door. The stationary part includes a receiving section having an opening for the reception of the locking element, where the locking element can be inserted into the receiving section from different insertion directions when the locking element is aligned in the insertion direction. The stationary part includes a latch selectively movable from a locking position into a release position.

CLEVIS SENSING LOCK

An exemplary bolt assembly includes a housing, a bolt, and a magnetic sensor. The housing includes a tubular sleeve configured for mounting in a latch bore of a door. The bolt is movably mounted to the housing for movement between an extended position and a retracted position. The magnetic sensor includes wires that extend through the tubular sleeve, and is operable to transmit information relating to an open/closed position of the door.

Doorway Security Apparatus
20170335598 · 2017-11-23 · ·

A security apparatus for a doorway includes a plate having a plurality of receiving holes and a plurality of fastening holes. One side of the plate has a formed portion which is bent to be off plane with the plane defined by the remainder of the plate. The receiving holes may be of different sizes to accommodate different bolts. The fastening holes may include one or more groups of fastening holes. In one example the plate has three groups of fastening holes that may be off center from the plate's centerline. The groups may be positioned away from the centerline either toward or away from the formed portion. At least one group is staggered compared to at least one other group. And, at least one group has a spacing between adjacent holes that is greater than the spacing of at least one other group. At least one receiving hole may have one or more filleted corners.

Gate Latch

A gate latch assembly includes strike mounting plate and a gate latch. The strike mounting plate has a base portion and a pin attachment portion. The gate latch has a second base portion and a pin engagement portion extending from a mid-portion of the second base portion. This pin engagement portion has a first prong and a second prong separated by a slot. A latch is pivotally mounted to the first prong and effective to releasably restrain a pin within the slot. The pin is affixed to the strike mounting plate and has a length effective to engage the slot. One feature of the assembly is that it is equally suitable for gates that swing to the left and for gates that swing to the right. Further, by changing the configuration of the pin, the gate latch assembly is suitable for sliding gates.

Sealed keeper sensors

An electronic keeper includes a housing defining a battery chamber and an actuator chamber. An actuator is at least partially disposed within the actuator chamber. The actuator includes a strike and a magnet, and is pivotable between a first position and a second position relative to the housing. The actuator is also biased towards the first position. The electronic keeper also includes a senor disposed within the battery chamber. When a locking element is in contact with the strike, the actuator pivots from the first position towards the second position so that the magnet moves relative to the sensor.

Latch

This invention relates to a latch (preferably a slam latch) and to methods of operating a door/gate/panel using the latch. The latch comprises: (i) a mounting body; (ii) a latch bolt mounted relative to the mounting body for movement between a locking position and an unlocking position, said latch bolt having a keeper-engaging region extending from the mounting body and terminating at a keeper-engaging end; and (iii) a keeper having at least a first wall and a second wall which are spaced to define an opening for receiving the keeper-engaging region, wherein the first and second walls are adapted to engage the keeper-engaging region of the latch bolt when the latch bolt is in the locking position.

CHILD LOCK FOR A SLIDING WINDOW OR DOOR
