Door opening speed controller and automatic opening structure for an appliance
An appliance includes a hinge module between a main body and a pull-down door. The hinge module includes a housing, a rotational axis member disposed in the housing serving as a center of rotation between the pull-down door and the main body, an inner link housing movably disposed in the housing that moves with the opening of the pull-down door in a direction of the rotational axis member, and a damper installed in the inner link housing, the damper including a piston and a cylinder and providing damping force according to a relative movement of the piston and the cylinder. Any one of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves with the inner link housing and the other of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves by a predetermined distance as the inner link housing moves and then is interfered by the housing so as not to move further, and the piston and the cylinder of the damper starts damping, wherein the predetermined distance corresponds to an opening angle of the pull-down door in which the damping is started.
Theft deterrent device and system
A theft deterrent device includes a locking portion and a housing portion. The locking portion includes a locking mechanism. The housing portion includes a housing portion wall. The housing portion wall comprises a first material and is configured to house a second material within the housing portion wall. The second material is made of a different material than the first material. The second material is selected such that a cutting tool will be hindered when trying to cut through the housing portion.
Auto-latching latch assembly
An auto-latching latch assembly is mounted to a follower door of a double door. The latch assembly includes a latch movable between an unlatching position and a latching position and a movable member jointly movable with the latch. A positioning member is jointly pivotable with the movable member. When the latch moves to the unlatching position, the positioning member positions the latch in the unlatching position. When the follower door is closed while a primary door of the double door is closed, an actuation latch presses against and releases the positioning member to move the latch to the latching position, reliably locking the follower door.
Safety door latch system
A child safety door latch system includes interchangeable pushbutton compression springs of varying tensions proportional to selected values of thumb opposition strength. A pair is selected for a predetermined age group. A pair of handles each contain one of the selected pair of compression springs and a pushbutton. A latch includes a latch compression spring and a latch slider. A master connector is coupled to the latch slider. In a locked mode, the selected pair of compression springs cooperate with the latch compression spring such that the latch protrudes from the latch sleeve, holding the door locked.
WEATHER-RESISTANT LOCK
A lock can include attack-resistant and/or weather-resistant features. Attack-resistant features can include a sacrificial link between a locking mechanism and an external keyway covering an exterior face of the locking mechanism. The sacrificial link can break during a torque attack on the lock such that the full force of the torque attack is not applied to the locking mechanism. Weather-resistant features can include drain openings in one or more housing components external to the locking mechanism to facilitate drainage of liquid matter from the lock before the liquid matter reaches the locking mechanism.
Motor vehicle door lock
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock (1) which comprises a locking mechanism having: a rotary latch and at least one pawl; a release lever (12); a locking device (21), the release lever (12) cooperating with the locking device (21) via a coupling lever (13); and an actuating lever (8), the locking mechanism being at least indirectly unlockable by means of the actuating lever (8). An additional motor vehicle door lock (2) is provided, and said vehicle door lock (2) can be actuated via a second coupling lever (14) and by means of the actuating lever (8), the first and the second coupling lever (13, 14) having a common pivot axis (15).
RING HOOP PADLOCK AND ASSEMBLY METHOD
A ring hoop padlock comprises a ring hoop rotatable about an axis of rotation; a lock cylinder that has a cylinder housing and a rotatable cylinder core; an entrainer coupled to the cylinder core for driving the ring hoop; a housing that has a front housing part and a rear housing part; and an insertion part in which the lock cylinder is held, with the insertion part being integrally formed in one piece.
Tool Box
A tool box includes a first casing, a second casing, at least one fastening member, and at least one first elastic member. The first casing has at least one first receiving slot which has two first restriction portions. The second casing has at least one second receiving slot, a second restriction portion, and a first locking portion. The at least one fastening member has a third restriction portion, a second locking portion, and two fourth restriction portions. The at least one first elastic member is biased between the at least one fastening member and the at least one first receiving slot, and the at least one fastening member is pushed by the at least one first elastic member, such that second locking portion is locked onto the first locking portion to interlock the first casing and the second casing.
LOW PROFILE LATCHING MECHANISM
A latching mechanism includes a latch housing comprising a plurality of standoffs, a mechanical energy storage component operatively coupled to the latch housing and a latch positioned inside the latch housing and operatively coupled to the mechanical energy storage component on a first side of the latch, the latch comprising a first opening positioned near the center of a body of the latch, a plurality of second openings positioned near the perimeter of the body of the latch and a ridge on a second side of the latch, wherein each of the plurality of standoffs protrude into a corresponding second opening of the plurality of second openings and wherein the latch moves in a lateral direction relative to the latch housing.
ELECTRONIC PUSH BUTTON FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE WITH ACTIVATION PATTERN MADE UP OF STUDS
An electronic push button for a motor vehicle door handle, including an activation pattern supported by a membrane that is flexible in the direction of an electric switch carried by a printed circuit board, the activation pattern defining an activation surface that is pressed by an operator's finger in order to push the activation pattern in the direction of the electric switch. The activation pattern is made up of a set of studs that extend parallel to one another away from the electric switch, with the majority of the studs being spaced apart from one another, the set of studs discontinuously delimiting an outer contour of the activation surface of the electronic push button.
