Door arrangement having a motor-driven locking device

A door arrangement includes a door leaf movable relative to a frame. A locking device in a locked state locks the door leaf to the frame by at least one locking element and in an unlocked state releases the door leaf relative to the frame. An actuating element selects the state of the locking device. To transmit a movement of the actuating element, the locking device has a connecting bar which is arranged displaceably on the door leaf, wherein a motor-operated drive unit for driving the connecting bar is provided. A sensor device for the contactless detection of a movement of the connecting bar is provided and the motor-operated drive unit can be activated in accordance with a movement of the connecting bar detected by the sensor device.

A latch module for controlling an opening and a closing of a door of an appliance includes a latch, a spring that applies an elastic force to the latch, a motor; and a cam that contacts a contact surface of the latch and is coupled to the motor to drive the cam to pivot the latch. The cam includes a first radius, a second radius, and a third radius in a circumferential direction at an outer circumference of the cam. The latch is positioned at a first basic position when the first radius of the cam contacts the contact surface of the latch, positioned at a second basic position when the second radius of the cam contacts the contact surface of the latch, and positioned at a third basic position when the third radius of the cam contacts the contact surface of the latch.

LATCH MODULE, A HINGE MODULE AND AN APPLIANCE USING THE SAME

A latch module includes a latch including a hook for engaging with a pin, a spring that applies a force to move the latch in a first direction; and a motor to pivot the latch. The hook is opened at a front end toward the first direction that opens to an engaging surface provided in the hook for engaging with the pin and the engaging surface includes a disengaging inclined surface that is disposed at a front end portion of the hook and a secure lock surface that is disposed behind the disengaging inclined surface. The disengaging inclined surface has an inclined surface inclined in the first direction and the secure lock surface has an inclined surface inclined in a second direction opposite the first direction. In a first basic position of the latch, the disengaging inclined surface of the hook is positioned to engage with the pin. In a second basic position of the latch, the engaging surface of the hook is positioned to release the pin. In a third basic position of the latch, the secure lock surface of the hook is positioned to engage with the pin.

DRIVING FORCE TRANSMISSION MECHANISM AND ELECTRIC LOCK USING SAME

A driving force transmission mechanism is provided which includes an input switching clutch configured to selectively transmit, to the output shaft (output member), either one of the rotationally driving force applied to the electrically driven input gear (first input member) and the rotationally driving force applied to the manually driven input shaft (second input shaft). A speed reducer having a simple structure and having no self-locking function is attached to the input side of the electrically driven input gear so that the rotation torque necessary to rotate the electrically driven input gear through the input switching clutch from the manually driven input shaft is larger than the rotation torque necessary to rotate the output shaft through the input switching clutch from the manually driven input shaft.

The present invention relates to a door-lock system (S) for a household appliance, in which said household appliance is of the type comprising a frame and a door hinged to said frame, and in which said lock-door system (S) comprises: an engaging member (2), which can be fixed to said door of said household appliance, and comprising a prong (22) and a security member (23) arranged substantially parallel to said prong (22); and a door lock device (1). The present invention also relates to an oven.

DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM

A locking system for an enclosure, including a control bracket mounted to a door of the enclosure and configured to slide in a longitudinal direction along a guide rod running through a pin bracket of the control bracket. The control bracket further includes a latching pin to secure the door of the enclosure. A handle mechanism has a push rod that causes the control bracket to slide along the longitudinal direction, also causing the latching pin to move into a position that secures the door.

Active pop-up finger access in a portable information handling system

Systems and methods for active pop-up finger access in a portable information handling system. The portable system may include a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion rotationally coupled by a hinge. The first housing portion may include an electromagnet disposed proximate a front portion of the first housing portion. The second housing portion may include a finger access feature proximate a front portion of the second housing portion and a second magnet disposed proximate the front portion of the second housing portion. The processor may, when a sensor detects a finger of a user proximate the finger access feature, activate the electromagnet to create a magnetic repulsion force with the first magnet. The magnetic repulsion force may cause the portable information handling system to move from a closed position to a finger access open position.
