The lock barrel includes tumblers and tumbler springs. The lock further includes a key insertable into the lock barrel to displace the tumblers relative to the lock barrel in a direction parallel to the axis and a sidebar extending through apertures of the lock barrel. The sidebar is engageable with a notch of the tumblers when the sidebar moves radially inward relative to the axis. The sidebar includes a cam surface slidable against at least one of the housing and the lock case when the lock barrel rotates. The sidebar also includes a projection having a single-ramped surface received within the notch of each tumbler when the lock barrel is in the unlocked state.

Detachable trailer jack locking assembly

Trailer theft is a widespread problem, and existing locks have failed to solve the problem for a number of reasons. Some locks require permanent modification of a trailer jack, while others are easy to break into. The present invention provides a detachable trailer jack locking assembly including a retention shell couplable to a trailer jack body. The retention shell is sized and shaped to surmount an upper end of an outer tube of the trailer jack. The retention shell also includes a slot configured to accept a handle of a lifting assembly on the trailer jack. The assembly includes an attachment point disposed on the outer tube of the trailer jack. A lock is adapted to secure the retention shell against the outer tube by coupling with the attachment point. When engaged, the handle is immobilized within the slot, thereby rendering the lifting mechanism of the trailer jack inoperable.

A lock assembly for a door includes a lock mechanism moveable between an extended position wherein the door is locked and a retracted position wherein the door is unlocked such that the door may be opened and closed. The lock assembly also includes first and second lock cylinders operably connected to the lock mechanism such that actuation thereof causes the lock mechanism to move to the retracted position, the lock cylinders each including a first keyhole. A tamper resistant member is moveable between a protected position in which the keyhole of the second cylinder is inaccessible and an unprotected position in which the keyhole of the second cylinder is accessible, such that a tool is required in order to move the tamper resistant member from the protected position to the unprotected position, the tool adapted to be stored separately from the door.

Security Lock System for a Fifth Wheel Hitch
20190383064 · 2019-12-19 ·

A security lock system for a fifth wheel hitch is system that restricts access to the connection between a fifth wheel hitch and a truck bed. The system includes a receiver lock, a fifth wheel hitch, a first sleeve, a second sleeve, a lock engagement channel, and a key. The receiver lock shields a securing mechanism of the fifth wheel hitch. The receiver lock connects with a base frame of the fifth wheel hitch through the lock engagement channel. The first sleeve and the second sleeve uphold the receiver lock against the lock engagement channel. A retractable locking bolt and a locking assembly are connected to each other with the key. The retractable locking bolt and the locking assembly remain stationary as the retractable locking bolt includes a first tubular body and a first stopper, and the locking assembly includes a second tubular body and a second stopper.

ANTI-THEFT STRUCTURE OF DUAL-LOCKING LOCK
20190360238 · 2019-11-28 ·

An anti-theft structure of a dual-locking lock includes a lock body, an electronic lock, a key lock and a key. The electronic lock is disposed on the lock body. The key lock includes a lock head and a plug cap. The lock head is combined with the lock body and has a front side surface with a key hole. The plug cap covers over the front side surface of the lock head, and has an inner portion with a chamber, and a circumferential surface provided with a window communicating with the chamber. The key includes a head and an extension arm perpendicularly extending from one side of the head. The head can be put into the chamber from the window and then inserted into the key hole and then rotated by an angle to perform unlocking or locking. With the above-mentioned structure, the good anti-theft effect is obtained.

LATCH HAVING COVER

A latch is configured to fix a panel relative to a frame. The latch includes a housing having a longitudinal axis and defining an aperture along the longitudinal axis; a cap mounted within the aperture of the housing for rotation about the longitudinal axis, the cap comprising a drive surface; and a cover coupled to the housing to pivot about a lateral axis, the cover pivotable to be in a closed position in which the cover covers the cap; wherein when the cap is in an unlatched position, the drive surface of the cap is aligned with an engagement surface of the cover and positioned to block the cover from pivoting to the closed position; and wherein when the cap is in a latched position, the drive surface is unaligned with the engagement surface and positioned to permit the cover to pivot to the closed position.

WEATHER RESISTANT LOCK
20190292813 · 2019-09-26 ·

A weather resistant tumbler lock has an elongated body, and defines a longitudinal axis. The lock is interchangeable with another lock having a corresponding asymmetrical perimeter profile with an opening in a top surface sealed with a cap, the other lock having a different rotatable core and a different configuration of tumblers. A drainway provides a channel for water to flow outwardly from the interior of a shell housing, a rotatable core and a keyway within the core, to a drain below the lock. The drain connects to a channel through a lower edge. The core provides an arcuate gap in a lower quadrant adjacent the interior surface of the shell for fluid communication with the drainway. A method includes identifying a substitute tumbler lock with an impermeable outer wall for replacing another lock having an identical outer perimeter profile and a permeable closed opening on its top surface.

ATTACHMENT LOCK

An attachment lock is connected with a coupling orifice of a portable device, a size of a cross section of an accommodation chamber of the coupling orifice is more than an opening of the coupling orifice. The attachment lock contains: a body, a fastener, and a lock mechanism. The fastener includes a pair of locking parts movably connected in the body and changeably inserted into the coupling orifice via the opening of the coupling orifice so as to retract. Furthermore, the pair of locking parts are changeably connected in the coupling orifice so as to expand after moving into the coupling orifice. The pair of locking parts respectively include a first contacting portion and a second contacting portion which have a first arcuation edge and a second arcuation edge individually. The lock mechanism is configured to lock the fastener, when the pair of locking parts changeably expand.
