Locking Device with a Guard Lock for Safety Doors

A locking device having a guard lock for safety doors includes a mechanical actuator which can be fastened on a movable door part and a housing which interacts with the actuator and can be fastened to a door counterpart. The housing includes a receptor to which the actuator can be inserted, and the housing comprises a locking element which is displaceable between an unlocked position, in which the actuator can be released, and a locked position, in which the actuator can be fixed relative to the receptor. The actuator comprises an engagement tongue having an engagement recess for mechanical operative engagement with a head end of a locking element in form of an engagement plunger, the engagement plunger being guided in the housing so as to be longitudinally displaceable in a spring-biased manner in the in a plunger longitudinal direction relative to an inner fixed bearing.

Electronic lock mechanism

An interchangeable electronic lock mechanism provides selective access to a motor controlled latching system including a motorized pin to lock and unlock a knob assembly. The lock mechanism may be used to replace key operated locking cores, on the exterior of a storage unit, with a plug and optional adapter inserted into a remaining shell housing, and a driver to control access to a storage unit. Manual rotation of the knob activates the drive assembly to control access to the storage unit. An optional break away security feature in the knob inhibits unauthorized unlatching of the lock. When the lock is unlatched, the knob rotates the drive assembly including the plug and adapter within the shell housing, and in turn, activates the driver to operate the lock assembly in the storage unit. An optional modular chassis assembly includes a removable array of components for testing, maintenance and repair.

Door latch for an electrical domestic appliance

A door latch for an electrical domestic appliance includes a rotary member arranged to be rotationally movable between a closing rotational position and a release rotational position and is spring-biased in the direction towards the release rotational position, a movably arranged catch that is in an arresting engagement with the rotary member when the rotary member is in the closing rotational position, and a locking assembly that includes a movable locking member movable between an unlocking position and a locking position. The arresting engagement is releasable by an overlifting rotational movement of the rotary member. The rotary member is rotationally movable between a closing rotational position and a release rotational position and is spring-biased in the direction towards the release rotational position. The locking member, when transferred from the unlocking position into the opening position, causes the arresting engagement of the catch with the rotary member to be released.

The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a thrust reverser tertiary lock apparatus that includes a probe affixed to an aircraft engine frame and having a shaft having a barb at a first end and configurable to a first configuration and a second configuration, and a receiver affixed to a thrust reverser transcowl slider configured to accommodate the barb and having an end wall with an aperture defined therein, the aperture shaped to permit escapement of the barb in the first configuration and prevent escapement of the barb in the second configuration.

LOCK

A lock includes a housing assembly, an actuatable lock assembly and a latching assembly. The actuatable lock assembly is positionable in a closed orientation and an open orientation. The latching assembly includes a latch, a cam and a motor. The latch, having a cam profile, is movable between a locked and an unlocked position. The cam is rotatably mounted and has a first follower configured to intermittently coact with the cam profile of the latch, to, in turn, move the latch between the locked position and the unlocked position. The motor is coupled to the cam. Actuation of the motor causes rotation of the cam, resulting in movement of the latch between the locked and unlocked positions. The actuatable lock assembly includes a catch member that is configured to pivot about a pivot axle, wherein the latch controls the pivoting of the catch member, selectively precluding and allowing the same.

DOOR LOCK FOR A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE HAVING THE DOOR LOCK

An appliance door lock includes a frame at a housing and a U-shaped latch for a clamp at a door, locking along an insertion direction. The latch, moving in a lock plane along insertion direction, includes a first guiding pin and linear first guide section parallel to insertion direction with a stop for the first guiding pin at a distal end along insertion direction, and a second guiding pin and second guide section curved >90° parallel to the lock plane and outwardly from insertion direction. A spring between frame and latch biases the latch in insertion direction. The latch includes a first tab gripping the clamp and second tab pushed by the clamp, by movement along insertion direction. The second guide section provides an arrest point for the second guiding pin at a petal end along insertion direction. A household laundry care or drying appliance includes the door lock.

CATCH MECHANISM FOR A LOCKING DEVICE

The present invention relates to a catch mechanism for blocking a bolt to prevent unauthorized opening of a door, the catch mechanism comprising a follower for operating a bolt between a locked state in which the bolt is extended and an unlocked state in which the bolt is retracted; a catch configured to block the follower for preventing movement of the bolt in the locked state, and a control member for operating the follower and the catch, The invention also relates to a locking device comprising such a catch mechanism.

Two-wheeler lock

A two-wheeler lock, in particular a frame lock, wherein the lock is preferably at least partly drivable in a motorized manner, comprises a sensor for detecting different positions of an element of the lock movable along a defined movement path. The movable element here has a permanent magnet and the sensor is configured as a magnetic sensor. This magnetic sensor is furthermore configured for a three-dimensional magnetic detection to detect positions or movements of the movable element deviating from the defined movement path and/or to detect manipulation attempts by means of external magnets.

Electric latch mechanism

An exemplary latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt, a locking sleeve, and a roller engaged between the latchbolt and the locking sleeve. The latchbolt is configured to drive the roller from a first position to a second position as the latchbolt moves from a projected position to a depressed position. The locking sleeve includes a blocking surface and a recessed portion. When the blocking surface is aligned with the roller, the locking sleeve retains the roller in the first position, thereby retaining the latchbolt in the projected position. When the recessed portion is aligned with the roller, the locking sleeve permits movement of the roller from the first position to the second position, thereby enabling depression of the latchbolt.
