INCONTINENCE & STOMA SCENT PATCH
An adhesive device is capable of releasing fragrances, specifically scent patches. The adhesive device is used in the treatment of side effects associated with incontinence or an ileostomy.
SCENT DISPENSERS/ABSORBERS AND SCENT CARTRIDGES THEREFOR
A scent dispenser/absorber includes a container, an invertible lid reversibly attached to an open end of the container, a vented cage, and a scent cartridge housed within the cage after being procured from a repository or so-called “scent library.” In an “off” condition or state, the scent cartridge/cage combination is received in an interior chamber of the container, where the scent cartridge is out of communication with the surrounding environment and therefore incapable of performing scent dispensing or absorbing functions. The scent dispenser/absorber can be switched to an “on” condition or state by manually inverting the lid and hence the associated cage/scent cartridge combination such that the scent cartridge can be positioned externally of the container, where it can communicate with the surrounding environment to perform a desired scent dispensing or absorbing function. In an “on” condition, scent molecules originating from an odorant contained in a reticulated, hydrophilic inner core of the scent cartridge pass through a thermoplastic outer skin of the scent cartridge before being diffused into the surrounding environment.
SCENTING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A scenting device is provided for scenting an interior of a vehicle. The scenting device comprises a housing and a scent container arranged in the housing. The housing comprises a holding device for attaching the scent container.
SCENTING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A scenting device is provided for scenting the interior of a vehicle. The scenting device comprises a housing, a scent container arranged in the housing and at least one coupling device arranged on the housing. At least one holding device can be coupled to the coupling device. By means of the holding device, the scenting device can be attached to a ventilation in the interior of the vehicle.
ARTICLES FORMED OF PULP BASE MATERIALS WITH MODULATED SCENT RELEASE
Described are articles formed of a pulp base material comprising fibers, wherein pores are formed between the fibers. A volatile composition with at least one top note component and at least one base note component at least partially fills the pores of the pulp base material. A release rate of the at least one top note component is modulated by the pulp base material, and a release rate of the at least one base note component is enhanced by the pulp base material.
Switchable gas and liquid release and delivery devices, systems, and methods
Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for implementing switchable dispensing and/or delivery of scented substances. In one aspect, a device includes a cartridge structured to include one or more chambers containing one or more scented substances contained in a corresponding chamber, a housing structured to include a compartment to hold the cartridge, an opening to allow the scented substances to dispense to an outer environment from the device, and one or more transporting channels formed between the compartment and the opening, in which each of the one or more transporting channels is configured to accelerate a scented substance from the corresponding chamber to the opening, and an actuator switch arranged in a corresponding transporting channel and operable to move between an open position and a closed position based on an applied signal to selectively allow passage of the scented substance from the corresponding transporting path.

RECEPTACLE FOR HOLDING AN ACTIVE SUBSTANCE AND CORRESPONDING CLOSURE AND CONTAINER WITH SUCH A RECEPTACLE
A receptacle forming a chamber partially filled with an active substance, wherein the receptacle is a body and a cap which closes the body. The cap includes a top wall with a first main side facing an interior of the chamber and a skirt formed with the first main side of the top wall. The body includes a bottom wall and a sidewall. The skirt and the sidewall surround one another in contact with each other. The walls surrounding the chamber include the bottom wall, the top wall and either the skirt or the sidewall. At least one ventilation path is provided between the skirt and the sidewall, such that the ventilation path connects the chamber with the outside atmosphere.
A METHOD FOR REDUCING MALODOUR USING CUCURBITRILS
A method for reducing malodour includes the step of providing a solid composition including one or more cucurbiturils and derivatives and/or analogues thereof suspended in and/or bound by a thermoplastic and/or a thermosetting polymer medium, wherein the source of the malodour is external.
ODOR EMISSION SYSTEM, DEVICE AND METHOD
Embodiments of a controlled odor emission system and device include an odor presentation port tube and an odor tray securely retained against a platform, a valve housing securable to the platform adjacent the tray, a valve secured within the valve housing and an actuator for moving the valve. By controlling movement of the valve, precise amounts of an odor can be dispensed under programmatic control for training animals. Further, a system incorporating a central control unit and a reward dispenser in communication with an odor emission device to facilitate animal training.
